    Nice but...

The overall look is really impressive however like some others, I have found the magnet not very strong and the watch keeps sliding on my wrist and am having to constantly adjust it. I got it because I have a large wrist and this was one band that accommodated my large wrist. Now that the sport band comes in XL, will probably buy that and give it a try. I did end up buying an extra-large leather band from an outside vendor but was not of the best quality and the band ripped in two.

    Great Watch band

I have 2 colors of the "standard" Sport band. I decided to look at this because I'm so old (!!) that I could never find the right hole with the Sport band. (I use the third hole, but for some reason my old brain always picked either the second or fourth hole.)
Anyway, I thought the "Loop" might alleviate that "problem", and indeed it does. AND, it also breathes. Something I hadn't counted on because the Sport bands definitely don't.
As another reviewer noted, it looks great with the space gray Watch. And the flexibility of the magnet is wonderful. And, if I haven't mentioned it already - it breathes.
    Three thumbs up!

It really is a very good strap

    Hi folks

This is my first apple watch, but not my first stainless steel watch strap. Stainless steel watch straps are the look that I prefer, therefore I have had several over the years. I can tell you that each and every one of them tugs at the hairs on my wrist, and the Apple Milanese Loop strap is no exception. I suspect that those reviews that give this strap a poor rating over this issue have never used a stainless steel watch strap before. I find that after a while I don't notice it anymore - the tug is not enough to remove the hair.

I live it a part of Canada where it is quite hot and humid in the summer and quite cold and dry in the winter, causing my wrists to change size by a notch. Not a big deal on a leather band with a classic hasp, but a pain with a stainless band that requires removing\replacing a piece.

The Milanese Loop band obviously solves this problem for me.

I was initially concerned as the strap was quite stiff, but it relaxed after about a week of use.

The metal clasp is significantly strong to hold the watch in place as recommended by Apple - tight enough to enable the sensors to work, but not too tight. I do find that it will loosen a bit, but not to the point of annoyance. I find myself adjusting it now and then without thinking about it, much as I do with my glasses.

This band has been a great product for me.

    Poor stap

The magnet is not strongenugh to hold tight to the strap! With movement of the wrist the wristband will slacken. If you are wearing a jacket or pullover the magnet will move! I am continually haveing to adjust the strap. I'm not impressed! Would not recommend this strap!

    Best band you could buy!

Best band ever made by Apple for the Watch. You don't even feel it on your hand, the magnet is excellent, doesn't pull any hair (if you have any), doesn't scratch or make any marks with every day use! Overall, the best band I bought for my Watch.

I was given this band as a Christmas gift.

I would never have bought myself this band since I gravitate towards imitation leather (I'm vegan) and the sport bands more.
I do have to say it's a nice band. I cant say it's $150. nice. I have the same loop style band on a watch that cost $50 total and that Milanese loop band is just as nice, if not a little nicer in its finish.

The magnet does slip a lot. I find myself tightening it at my desk when the only activity I've been taking part in is desktop computing.

I will say this, it looks GREAT with my ceramic Edition watch! The stainless steel against the white case is very reminiscent of the first few series of iPods and the esthetic of the G4 iMac. Very turn of the century Apple.

    Great strap

What's great about the strap is that when your wrists expand with the heat you can alter the strap exactly.
    Would highly recommend.

    Nice, but....

It is a beautiful band and very comfortable wearing it. However, I have a tendency to comb my hair and scratch my head using my watch wearing hand when writing. The band would pull out several of my hairs, give me a sharp sensation, and kick my muse away. I have to replace it with something else if I want to continue to write.

    Great Strap BUT.

I love this strap, I was worried that it would fall off my wrist as I have a very small wrist and this does not come in different sizes like some of the other models. I am female and wanted the larger 42mm model. I have had mine for a year. It has lasted well even when exercising with this. The only down fall it does move a lot, as I have to put gloves over wrist area for work.

    Looks fancy but

It looks very nice and its very smooth. I was concerned that it might be scratchy but it is not. My only and chief complaint is that this comes in one wrist size. It is huge on me and I have it tighter as far as it can go so the band is doubled on my wrist.

Pretty but has sharp edge and pull hair

I fell in love with the band when I saw the ad and that's what made me got it. First day wearing I almost return it because it kept pulling my hair on my wrist and my long hair get caught in it a lot. It has a small sharp edge near the clasp since day one but I thought maybe it's the design so I didn't do anything about it until today as it has gotten worse. The sharp edge keeps scratching my hand and scrape me many times and my clothes get caught in the sharp edge too, ruining many nice blouses. It's a pretty band and once you get used to getting your hair pulled them it's ok.

Great band for formal wear AND sweaty conditions

I had a white Sports band and a Leather Loop, but moving to a semi-tropical country made me realize how easily the white band would get dirty, and the leather smelly from sweat, and so forth. The Milanese loop is fantastic because it's permeable to air and cools quickly when you're back indoors with AC. I haven't fully tested it with high impact sports like tennis, but I'm pretty sure this will be my default band going forward.

    Great Band

The Milanese Loop is gorgeous, comfortable and easy to handle. So far, I didn't experienced any hair-pulling. During the day, the magnet moves a little bit, almost imperceptible. The quality is impressive but I still thing it is too pricey. I also wish they could come in a smaller size.

    Long hair always get caught

Thought I would love this band over the white sports band which I had and turned yellow. Unfortunately my hair always get caught in the miniscule holes!!!

I love my watch and now looking for a leather strap; unfortunately not too many choices for 42mm in bright colours.

    Had Hopes

Was happy to see the milanese loop released in space black and ordered one. I liked the adjustability and overall look with my sport watch, but for me I felt the edges of the magnetic clasp were too sharp. The band also pulled the hair on my wrist. So I switched back to my sport band I returned it

It works and looks great, even on men. Don't think twice about it, just get it.

    Space Black = YES!

Likely the most durable band manufactured, it offers an elegance like no other. You may have seen the knock offs in the wild but they really do not even look as sharp and precise as this one. Excellent job Apple!

Beautiful & Comfortable; Detail You Expect from Apple

Wonderfully designed product from Apple. Band material is metal, but feels cool and silky - like very, very fine chainmail. When it catches bright light, it reflects a crazy iridescence. Don't worry if your Watch is a different color/material; mine looks just fine with the Space Gray Sport. The magnet is super strong and I've never worried about it falling off. The magnet is really the only part that's subject to visible scratching; it's made of a metal that's somehow both polished and brushed. The mesh VERY rarely catches hair, but over the months I have had to remove a few patches of wool that have gotten caught. They're hardy visible though, as the mesh hides most imperfections. There are generic versions out there for cheap, but they're so-so. They lack the silky feel and smooth lugs, and the bands don't sit straight. If you're looking for a step up from the Sport bands, the Loop is a great option!

Over time, the magnetic hold slips

I've used my watch with this band for nine months. And it is slipping more and more. It needs tightening too often.

It looks nice, but I would not buy it again because it is a nuisance to tighten throughout the day.

Mind you, the stress I put on the band is no more than anyone else's, I'm sure.

I called Apple Support about it, but was told to just clean it. Of course I have, but it still slips.

    Broke day one

I accidently knocked my hand against a metal bar and the loop separated from its connection point to the clasp that afixes to the watch. Really disappointed I found the Milanese loop to be the most aesthetically pleasing of the bands.
