Overpriced and the buttons make it worse

You have to admit, the price on this case is ridiculous.

Also, with the case on, the volume buttons are harder to push and have little to no tactile feeling.

The silicone also make it slippery once your fingerprints get all over with with skin oil.

    Poor quality

The Case is breaking everyday a little bit more. It does not protect the corners because it is the first place the cover broke. I do not recommend it. The only good thing of it is its fit with the keyboard

    Functions but...

    1) price for total package (shell and cover) is ridiculous;

    2) only 2 colors? Grey and white. Please offer us something more, especially at this cost.

    Poor quality but premium price.

I've been through two of these. The first was replaced as faulty by Apple - the thin strip near the charging port snapped. Guess what it's happened again. This isn't the quality you exipect for a £75 price tag.

Poor quality, way overpriced, easily cracks and chips. Not even worth $5

For $79 Apple should be ashamed! I've been buying Apple's authentic iPad cases since the first generation and this is the worst garbage they've shipped to date. It doesn't provide adequate protection for your iPad. A drop will still dent the iPad through the case. Additionally, this case is made of extremely cheap material which chips and cracks from normal use. The corners will eventually start to crack, then, they'll break off in tiny pieces. Once this starts happening the case will start falling off. I've had better long lasting protection from $2 Chinese silicone cases.

    Corner cracked

I have not removed the case from my Ipad since purchasing it, have found the corner near the headphone jack cracking just due to everyday use. This is ridiculous, especially because of the price this case sells at.

Terrible case. Corners break down and crack

For what they charge for this case, it is a shame that they could not have engineered it better. First of all, the top and back should not be sold separately as it simply puts the cost of this silicone cover over the top for what you get. The feel of the silicone is not especially pleasing to.me, however I have seen some that seem to think it's okay. The fit of this case to the iPad is really good as it should be having been made by Apple. The worst thing about this is that the corners of the back portion of the case are all cracking open. This iPad gets light use as I have two iPads, has never been dropped and I never remove the back cover. The corners are just falling apart. This is NOT something I expect to get from Apple, this is relative to some generic garbage I may buy on an auction site for about 19.95. Apple should step up to the plate and replace these desintigrating covers for all the folks that it is happening to for what they are charging. My other smaller iPad has the Apple leather cover as does my iPhone and I love those. Apple can't get it together to design something better for their flagship iPad than this tombstone gray silicone cover that falls apart? Really?

    Build Quality - Durabilty

The covers corner have the tendency to crack, not from dropping just from the occasional removal of the cover.

Great feel terrible quality and engineerig

I bought this case because the silicone will tend to look newer longer but all of the corners have cracked within months of owning. Very disappointed in design especially due to the high cost of a relatively cheap product.

    Covers only the back!

Don't bother with this product. It only covers the back. II thought it covered the front and back. For $50 you can get the front cover that has a lot more functionality. Useless for the price.

Stable protection but adds a bit of weight

I wish Apple had decided to make Smart Case for the iPad Pro, I was using leather Smart Cases in the past and they are super light weight. This case provides a steady protection all round the iPad and will protect it against minor falls and bumps. The cover part needs to be purchased seperate you, this case on its own leaves the screen open so that is something to consider. The color is nice, the material is good and does not slip. I have sweaty palms and for a person like me this silicone case is perfect.

    Not that robust.

The sides tend to disintegrate. had to change it after 6 months of just 2 to 3 times use a week.

    breaking, poor quality

I've had this case along with the corresponding magnetic top cover for 2 months. It is cracked where the charge port connects and on a corner. I need something more durable. For the price I would expect this to be holding up better.

    Weak corner

The corner of this case - by the camera window - cracked open when I was first putting the iPad into it. And I'm not a butterfingers.

You can see there's a design flaw here - there are three holes almost in a straight line at the corner, one for the main camera window, two for the microphones. The fracture has happened along that axis, out of the camera window hole and out to the side of the case, so the corner of the case is now loose.

It appears that the case has been scaled up in length and width compared with the smaller models but the designers haven't properly taken into account the extra bending moment at these corner stress points, with the big 12.9 inch version. A pity, the visual design is excellent, but let down by neglect of the mechanicals. I'm not impressed for £65!

    Corners of case failed

I have had this case since December 2015 and I'm sad to say the corners of the case have become loose and have started to fall apart from the rest of the case. I have in no way treated this case badly as there are no scratches or marks on the back and sides. I'd expect for the £65 price tag the case would have a better build quality. Bought a £10 case off of amazon to replace it. Prefer the Amazon case by far and away.

    Excellent

I have been using cover since I bought iPad Pro two weeks ago. It looks and feels great. Was worried about the size but within no time at all I couldn't imagine not having it. Will be buying Smart Cover now to protect front.

    Great Product!

I love this case and have had similar cases on my other iPads. It offers protection mostly meant for scratches and not drops so if you are drop prone I would not recommend this for you. It has been great for me although I wish it had more color options (I love the orange red color on other apple cases) This is a great case and I recommend it. Thanks Apple!

    Kinda let down

As far as accessories go for my iPad pro I was extremely let down for multiple reasons firstly the price this is crazy I understand it's for a bigger unit but even then it doesn't warrant the price, secondly I'm sceptical about the Button covers they feel nice the begin with but I'm concerned about the wear and tear of them. Thirdly is the side section now yes I understand that it was left uncover for the smart covers and cases but what happens if you don't have or use one all the time a side insert should come with it but the lining within the case was a nice touch and still gets the job done.

    Good Case

This is a good case, but Apple's color choices are very bland. Would like to see more colors (like the other iPad cases).

    I Pad Pro rear cover

Looks & feels very good, obviously fits perfectly, bit too expensive although I bought a cheaper variant initially & sent it back as it was the complete opposite to this one, hard plastic & felt horrible, didn't seem the right thing for my iPad. 4 stars rather than 5 only because of the price !
