    Do Not Buy

Have gone through 2 pairs of these now and had the same results. The built, fit and sound quality are great...BUT they WILL brick on you. Same exact thing happened to two pairs where the red light will be on like it's charging, but when taken off the charged (even after multiple days) it will not power up. There's no reset or software upgrade that will work. Sweat from workouts is toweled off afterwards and kept in a dry, safe place. I do not write reviews often, but until this malfunction is fixed this product should not be sold or purchased. Apple/Beats should be ashamed to sell these for this amount of money, especially with the average ratings being under 2 stars.

    Poor Quality; Not Durable

Highly recommend buying another brand if you plan to use these headphones for workouts - which is ironic since the product is marketed for workouts. The materials don't hold up against sweat and your headphones will be falling apart in no time!

SAD TO SAY...NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY...OR TIME !

MORE TIME SPENT RETURNING THESE TO STORE THAN ACTUAL USE !!!

Having only exchanged my faulty 3rd pair for a brand-new 4th littl eunder a month ago....I regrettably must nowwrite a NEGATIVE REVIEW for the 1st time in 20yrs using Apple product(s).

Less than 10 runs into my new wireless beats 3 and already full charge is depleted within a 2hr run/gym session....on purchase/exchange these last for DAYS on a SINGLE Full charge cycle.

I'd go for an alternative and WISHED ID NOW READ THESE REVIEWS THOROUGHLY BEFORE BUYING: Apple should really be recalling this clearly faulty product: 90% of the serious runners I know have now sent theirs back or indeed had to exchange them now ...in my Run-Club (in a HUGE RETAILERS STORE) they even now recommend we BUY ALTERNATIVES as their tired of sending people back to Apple and still having same issues only days/weeks later!!!

    One very FRUSTRATED BUYER (GLASGOW).

LOOK MAGIC....WORK TERRIBLY....CLEARLY NOT SWEAT-PROOF WHATSOEVER AND THUS SHOULD BE RECALLED AS SUCH !!!

    Great Sound, Poor Design

I really like the convenience of these, and they were comfortable, however, the piece that goes around the ear broke off very easily on mine. I was going to send them in to be repaired but unfortunately, my dog decided to chew on them. I would purchase them again but I fear that the same piece will break off again.

    Don't Buy

I paid the hefty price for these headphones hoping they would be durable. They broke in less than 10 days. The sound wouldn't play in the left headphone.

I've probably owned 4 different over the ear bluetooth powebeats and all have broken in under a year.

    Sounds great when it works

I purchased these headset in September almost exactly 30 days later it stopped working. Best Buy refunded me my money so i was able to buy another pair. I've had the new pair for 10 days and it's now malfunctioning. I workout almost everyday and having music is an essential part of my workout so this is a big inconvenience for me. After I spent all of this money for premium headphones that are constantly failing I now need to scramble and find an alternative. My advise to anyone who reads this is if you don't mind paying a lot of money for a headphones that will eventually stop working within weeks from when you start using it then go ahead and buy these.

    These are PATHETIC

2 pairs dead in less than a month. This product is absolutely awful. I cannot stress enough how unreliable these things are. Shocked Apple puts out product quality like this.

can I give this product and company 0 stars?

I purchased a pair of powerbeats3 a while ago. They worked okay. They were not as load as I would like but the sound was decent quality. My beats died and as I was sitting in Miami on the way to Barcelona. I tried to charge them the entire flight. No dice. Thank God for airline headphones (never thought I would say that) I tried to speak to service twice no luck. I just wanted to send them my defective beats and get a new pair that would actually work properly. I wrote a review that was deleted. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$!!!

Just one device and dirty sound

It doesn't connects to more than one device at the same time. That's really bad, specially if you use to connect both, computer and one or two cellphones while you're working. The quality of the sound is from the what is expected for tais price.

    Power Beats 3 breaking

Apple Help is very nice and will constantly replace quickly if you are within warranty. That being said I have gone through three pairs of these beats in less than a year. I take good care of my headphones and these just keep breaking. Battery life, comfort, size, weight, sound is all great but they just keep breaking in less than a couple of months. Cant recommend these to anyone as they just keep breaking. If you like replacing headphones over and over again tho, or you never use workout headphones to workout, and you have lots of money, then these are for you. Thank you Apple support for being so kind otherwise these would be rated even lower.

Great for the phone, horrible for the computer

Had these for 1 week and enjoyed them on the phone. Crisp sound, great bass but then I switched it over to the computer. The Powerbeats3 earbuds have a problem when connected to a pc they will switch to handsfree and not switch back to stereo mode. To correct this, I've powered them off and back on again but as soon as my voip phone rings, I'm back to square one. I've updated the firmware on the earbuds and have tried to reset them and same results. I feel Apple had the right idea but this is a horrible implementation for something that should work for everything.

    Going for pair number 5

I am about to receive my fifth pair of powerLESSbeats 3. I got my first set last Christmas and since, have gone through 4 pair. Apparently they can not withstand any sweat on them without having problems. Luckily for myself, I got a one year warranty so I should be covered until Christmas time but after I will be SOL. Great quality as far as listening goes, but they just aren't built to last. Do yourself a favor and get some BOSE.

    TrashBeats by Lame

Wish I could give 0 stars, broke after 3 weeks of regular use. Completely unresponsive even though they had a full battery when they stopped working. Tried charging, resetting, etc. Got my money back luckily. Disappointed in Apple and Beats to pay top dollar for a bad product.

    Volume control!!!!

Great sound but will not last long. My first one last about an year after which the volume control section was torn. My second one which I bought few weeks back volume control is a disaster. It goes up and down automatically. Sometimes skips songs as well. Apple please fix this!

    Bad-Could've been great.

Purchased my Powerbeats3 in late May 2017. I should have listened to the numerous negative reviews. The GOOD - these look and sound great (to me); external fit and ear hook is excellent for distance running (my main use for them) - they stay in place. Battery life (when working) is excellent. At first I thought everyone else was whiners... then it started....(about 3 months later)... first a random shut-off at about 2 miles into a run, but then I would be able to turn them back on again a few minutes later; and then, shut-offs became more frequent and then they wouldn't turn back-on again any more - unless fully charged again (despite having been fully charged before use). Now, they're useless (for running). Another issue that developed (specific to me and my sweaty head/ears) once I lost my seal/sweat got in - they'd keep popping-out - making them sound horrible (very challenging to dry and reseal when trying to keep a desired running pace). Just wearing around the house, they work and sound fine... but I wanted them for running... Found Plantronics Backbeat Fit and have been very happy (for me) ever since.

    Sorry for wasting my money

these eabuds CAN'T handle sweat. They constantly shut down or take liberty to control volume, switch songs, etc'. The Volume control stopped working and the microphone is impossible to talk through.
I am sorry for spending almost $200 on these.

I WILL NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN

Product says this is sweat proof, but is not.. After a month of normal use (jogging) the volume is malfunctioning, the volume constantly lowering down, rendering it useless. I guess the volume button is filled with sweat.

    Bricked in five months.

My pair of Powerbeats 3 worked well for the first month, but shortly after the quality of the product started to degrade.
For one this pair started to skip pieces of songs or entire songs all on it's own. After some more time, like the third month, this set started to impair or shut off on it's own. Around the forth month the Powerbeats 3 would not charge fully. On the fifth month they no longer would turn on and that's when the final nail was hammered on the casket.
