Great headphones, but be careful in the cold

These headphones are great for the gym, and for to and from. I have found that these headphones are suitable for cold weather. I live in New England so it does get to some pretty cold temperatures here in the winter but I have found that even walking my short 7 minute walk home from the gym these headphones will disconnect and won’t reconnect till they are at a decent temperature. I love using them at the gym or commuting to and from work

    Not worth the price

Don't get me wrong...these earphones produce amazing sound, but if you're planning on working out with these, then look elsewhere. After having my third set of these earphones fail after the warranty expired, I am giving up on the brand. I simply cannot buy into the claim that these earphones are sweat and waterproof. I have not abused these by any stretch of the imagination, but perspiration is part of working out. So, after reading everyone else's claims about how they failed in similar circumstances I can only conclude mine did the same. So unfortunate...

    terrible!!

Paid $200 for a pair of headphones that have broke 3 times already. Every time they break I have to go to Apple, wait in line for 2 hours to have 1 of their tech guys inspect them in order to troubleshoot the latest problem. Whether it's not charging, not paring or just not working. Could've gotten a better quality pair of headphones for a fraction of the price.

    Worthless

These earphones suck!!! You're basically paying for the design/logo rather than the quality... it has poor Bluetooth connectivity, my phone loses connection when it's in my pocket or when I slightly tilt my head a few inches, overall I feel lied to, it seems they're only useful when you're in a stationary position, I can't even hike or play basketball without these earphones losing connection every few seconds

    Powerbeats3 wireless

I am on my 3rd pair of thePowerbeats 3 Wireless. The current Powerbeats3 I have work for about 20-50 mins into a workout, and then I get the disconnection tones and cannot re-connect. I get 3 blinking white lights when I try to restart, yet the product is unresponsive to reconnecting immediately. Sometimes after 10 to 20 minutes they reconnect, but then disconnect 5-10 minutes again after that. I usually just recharge them (as I wonder if a battery issue) and the next day they work again for 20-50 minutes and then start the process again. I have not returned these to Apple as yet.

The first pair I had, the volume would automatically increase or decrease without touching or skip to the next song .... and the pause and advance music stopped functioning. The second pair I had just disconnected one day and would not reconnect....even after resetting. They appeared to be charged, but would not connect.

Apple has replaced the first two pair. Apple support/service is perfect. The Powerbeats product is the is problem.
    I cannot recommend this product.

    Horrible...

These are horrible. Replaced under warranty within a month for going dead (red light blink but won’t turn on). New pair drops signal, controls stopped working and power button won’t turn off. Plus battery only lasts about 5-6 hours. Huge waste of money, wish I could refund.

    Great Headphones.

I had these brought for me and I absolutely love them! So comfortable and adjustable to your ears. Music sounds great would 100% recommend.

    Don’t waste your money

I wouldn’t recommend these headphones because they’ll randomly turn off on you at some point. You won’t get a charge or power from the headphones. Unfortunately, I’ve been suckered into the popularity of this brand, and all 3 of my previous headphones have had this issue. 10/10 not worth it.

    Frequent Bluetooth disconnections

The Powerbeats will be working for about 30 mins into a workout and then I get the disconnection tones and cannot re-connect. I get 3 blinking white lights and the product is unresponsive to reconnecting to laptop/charging. I have been back to Apple to repair/replace these probably five times over the past year. The first times 4 times they seemed to be taking them back for a repair and would return them to me in a couple of days (I don't know if it was the original Beats or a refurbished set). The most recent time, I told them of my frustration and they gave me a new pair off the shelf, right out of the box. We seemed confident this would resolve the issue but this new set started exhibiting the same disconnection behavior. About 20-30 mins into a run, out of the blue, sound cuts out and the disconnection tones comes on. They won't work for the rest of the workout. Then, if I leave them off overnight, in the morning they will reconnect. It's been just a terrible experience.

    Shocking! Shocking! Shocking!

I have already had my first pair of Powerbeats 3 replaced because they wouldn’t turn on and connect. I now have a second pair and they too have the same problem! This is in 8 months! How can a product I paid 160 euros for only last 4 months on average? This is unacceptable and I will never buy any pair of Beats again. I have to go back to the store and get a third pair and I’m pretty sure they won’t last very long either.

    Rubbish Powerbeats 3

Broken 3 times. Each times last 4 months at most. It is total waste of money. Too bad that I can't rate minus for this product.

Great Sound, Battery Dies After 18 Months!

My second set just died due to battery failure. At $260 each, I'm now down $520 and both sets are useless. The battery cannot be replaced, and the manufacturer acknowledges lithium batteries only have a limited life. It's a pity, because the sound is second to none. It's just symptomatic of a throw-away society and luxury products marketed to a wealthy few. The ethics of selling such products do nothing to enhance a company's reputation and social standing. Next time I see their promotional stand at my local shopping mall I get a loud-hailer and warn the public. Come to think of it, I might even wear a sandwich board to protest.

DONT BUY IT IF YOU SWEAT!!!!!!!

It was introduced as a sweat proof product yet it’s really not. I have already used two pairs and both get messed up after two month of workout use.

    Broken 3 Times

I have had 3 pairs of the wireless powerbeats and each pair has broken, despite there being no physical damage. After roughly 1 year of use per pair, all three pairs failed to turn on or charge at all. Took them all to the apple store and they were not sure what was wrong with them, and then wanted to charge me $100 to maybe be able to repair them??? The headphones were only $190, which is absurd because I have now bough THREE pairs of them and my last pair stopped working yesterday. So roughly $600 down the drain, and nothing to show for it. Seriously unsatisfied.

Powerbeats3 as bad or worse than Powerbeats2

After going through at least 4 sets of Powerbeats2, Apple was gracious enough to "upgrade" me to the Powerbeats3. I thought this was awesome and I was super excited because I had read that the Powerbeats3 were supposed to be more sweat resistant and made for athletes/training. Since the upgrade at the end of August (2017) I had to replace them on Nov 7. I live outside the U.S. and some my replacement Powerbeats3 weren't even used until Jan 4 2018. Yesterday Jan 25, after a few disconnects over the last couple of weeks, they completely died and will not charge or power on.

Long story short: Powerbeats 2 are garbage. Powerbeats 3 are garbage. Apple customer support is awesome. 0 stars for the product 5 stars for the service support.

    Did Not Last

I received these headphones as a gift last year. I love their great design and function- so great for the gym and running. However, after only using them 5 times, they lost the ability to retain a charge and ultimately died. The only advice Apple gave me was to try to reset them, which did not work. Their conclusion was that there was nothing they could do besides charging me around $100 in fees to have them fixed. After already paying a wasteful $200 for the headphones, they were not worth fixing or replacing. Very disappointed in the quality, return policy and pricing. What a scam.

    powerbeats 2 and 3

ive never read the reviews on the wireless powerbeats and i wish i did before purchasing my very first pair. all what i say is within 18months of having my powerbeats 2. i only ever use these for the gym for roughly an hour everyday. in total i have gone through 5 sets of powerbeats 2 and apple eventually gave me a set of powerbeats 3 because of the problems, but within 2 months of receiving these ive gone through 3 sets and will be getting a 4th replacement set from apple within the next few days. common faults which have happened to all one are that when using them eventually the volume decreases on its own then suddenly stop working and can't switch back on. the latest problem is not holding charge on a daily basis and i honestly think now its because of sweat even though they claim to be sweat proof and designed for working out. Don't get me wrong when they work they sound and feel great but its doesn't last long in my case and it seems like that with others after reading reviews. As anyone ever gone down the road of seeking advice because ive kept every case number and email from apple since the problems as started and am considering this if my 4th set of powerbeats 3 stop working.

    Poor sound!

I've tried a few bluetooth headphones and the sound quality on these is by far the worst - basically no base at all (and I'm not a base heavy fan). I'd go as far to say I'd rather run with no music than use these which is a big statement. Do yourself a favour and buy the plantronics backbeat fit which is superior in fit and music quality. Sort it out beats...

    Powerbeats 2

DO NOT PURCHASE! I have never babied any item I have purchased as I have these and I have had no end of problems! I have had to use the warranty twice and I would a third time but I believe I am out of the warranty. The first time the play/pause volume control button fell off during a run, the second time it stopped working and I had to use my phone to control the headphones and most recently the ear piece broke, while going to put them on. These remain in the case it came with and only ever charged with the charger it came with. I was extremely excited when I received these as a gift but now I am so disappointed in this product and will not be purchasing again nor recommending to anyone.
