    Do not buy

My second pair of Powerbeats3 has just kicked the bucket (each lasting less than two months). Same issue as the first pair I owned, and the main thing everyone is reporting--the headphones suddenly stop working, and the only response you get when powering them on is a flashing red light (and they won't charge). I've treated these very well...always store them in the pouch, never drop or get them wet. Please consider the bad reviews before buying! They're quite expensive, and seemed to be guaranteed to malfunction!

    Do Not Purchase Powerbeats 3!

I purchased the Power Beats3 in December of 2016 for working out at the gym. I was told there would be no issues using them at the gym. They worked great for about three weeks and then they started to fail - losing connection with my IPhone, not charging or paring, and not being able to turn on or off. Apple replaced them with a new pair in January 2017 - one month later at the gym they lost connection and the whole process started over. I have owned iPhones/iPads for many years and have never had any problems.

The cost of the Power Beats are quite high and they should no be malfunctioning so quickly. Please save your money and look for other types of head phones. So many people are having the same concerns and it is just not worth it.

Apple needs to correct these issues, as it is an embarrassment to Apples reputation.

    7 replacements now (and counting)...

I've now been through 7 pairs of the Beats 3 wireless since November. And, am taking these back today as they failed again at the gym last night after 2 weeks. I thought it might be a sweat issue so this last pair i was super delicate with - keeping the wire in front of me (versus behind my neck) etc. But, no, they just decide to randomly go from 65% battery to 0% in a moment. Then, they might revive for a bit, and then back to dead. This is an embarrassment for Apple/Beats. I have many other apple products and have never had to return any of them. I so badly wanted this product to work but it's beyond bad. Save your money. Find another brand/option.

Sound quality great, build quality poor

Comfy, good battery life, great sound quality, Bluetooth range is fine. These are my third pair of beats and the build quality generation on generation is getting worse - I use these regularly in the gym and the casing on the cord that houses the volume and call answer buttons has already split where the glue has failed. Speaking to local Apple Store its due to perspiration so is "wear and tear". If you are buying these for commuting etc then no problem but if for gym I would avoid.

    NOT for RUNNERS

This is the 3rd one I got so far. The volume adjuster does not work once it gets slightly exposed to sweat. If you are a runner, stay away from this headphones.

    Not sweatproof!

I Had the first beats 2 , I went through two pairs of them , they don't hold up at the gym , and definitely don't take them jogging if you're a heavy sweater , if you sweat on them, they will stop working eventually ,then I brought "beats 3" because I thought maybe they corrected that problem , but they stop working a month after purchasing . But the sound is great!!! Before they stop working ..

    Great Headphones...While they Work

There are several positives to these headphones, and I loved them for the first couple of months of ownership. They do pair easily to your iPhone (though I don't find traditional Bluetooth pairing all that cumbersome). The range is great, so I can leave my phone anywhere in a large room and not worry about a loss of audio quality, and battery life appeared to be as good as promised.

However, I have been through 3 pairs of these already and will be visiting my local Apple store today to get pair number 4 because of constant hardware failures. My latest replacement pair lasted less than 2 weeks. I use these primarily as workout headphones for use during strength training and running (30-60 minute workouts). Perhaps its the sweat that is causing them to fail, but they are billed as active wear headphones, so I feel like it is fair to expect them to hold up against normal sweat levels, especially since in the description they say they are sweat and water resistant for "tough workouts". The errors I have encountered are very consistent: they will work fine, then the volume will fall at some point to a complete mute and from then on I cannot turn them on to pair with any device (the power button just causes a red light to flash a few times). Considering the durability of these and the price point they are offered at, I would consider alternate brands if your primary motivation for purchasing these is to use them for any active pursuits.

    Not Sweat Resistant

I'm on my second try with these and they are not sweat resistant. After 30 minutes of working out, the buttons activate spontaneously and you get the volume going up, volume going down, or music stopping and starting. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'll be looking for another brand.

APPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO PUT THEIR NAME TO THIS PRODUCT

I AM SUFFERING ALL THE ISSUES OTHER ARE (NOT SWITCHING ON, NOT SWITCHING OFF, REMOTE NOT WORKING) ALL HAPPENING AT DIFFERENT TIMES. ONLY THREE MONTHS OLD. HAVE SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE (CASE NOTES NOT UPDATING, GOT CUT OFF AND HAD TO RECALL - NEW OPERATOR HAD TO ASK ALL THE SAME QUESTIONS), NOBODY KNOWS WHERE TO FIND SERIAL NUMBER (DOESN'T COME FROM THE PRODUCT REGISTRATION) - I WAS ASKED TO LOOK IN THREE DIFFERENT PLACES BY THREE DIFFERENT OPERATORS. AND FINALLY THEY WONT OFFER A REFUND BUT WILL ONLY SEND ANOTHER PAIR OR REPAIR. QUITE SIMPLY A PRODUCT THAT APPLE SHOULD NOT PUT THEIR NAME TO. SHOCKING TO SEE SO MANY SIMILAR REVIEWS ON AN APPLE WEBSITE RE AN APPLE PRODUCT.

    Earphones don't work!

After 15 or so days, the earphones stopped working. Id get them to work on and off, but they continue to give problems. Dieing at random amounts (25-80%). Random disconnects, random pausing, they won't turn on at times. I am not the only one facing these issues, many of my friends have mirrored the same issue as I. All I want is a refund, really hating this product.

Bought as a gift 2 weeks ago...

I bought the PowerBeats 3 two weeks ago as a gift, and my friend is already having problems with them! They disconnect in the middle of a phone call, or workout, or just driving down the road. I would think that for the money, the quality would be up to par. Currently looking for a different brand - Sorry Apple, Not sorry - so that my gift won't be worthless. Not a happy customer.

Worst beats product I've ever used.

I have used mine for 4 weeks only. I turned it off after listening to music to take a nap and when I woke up, it refused to turn on.

Poor Warranty, break easily, no replacement parts.

Sound is good for wireless ear buds and quick charge feature is convenient. Warranty does not cover physical damage no matter what the cause. Ear loop broke after 4 months of use...thy are supposed to bend, not break. Not a replaceable part. Also note, Apple will void remaining warranty if you report them as damaged.

    Do not buy

I bought these thinking that they would be a great pair of earbuds but now after 3 months they stopped working, so hopefully I can contact apple and get it fixed.

    Won't hold a charge

The sound fine when they work. But I find that if I haven't charged them that day, when I go to turn them on, the battery has completely run out. In other words, you can't use them unless you keep them charging all the time.

These COULD be a great set of headphone if they worked as they should

I researched this set of headphones and heard a lot of problems. Decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. Well everyone is right. The headphone start off great. I purchased these back on Feb 2 so just a few months ago. Took a little bit to get the right buds to fit my ears. They worked great and I loved using them. By May 2nd I would charge them all night and it would only hold a charge for about 20-60 min and then completely be dead. I tried various times always made sure I charged it with the charger that came in the box. I paired it with my phone (iPhone 6s +) and iPod touch. Either device and I couldn't get through a 45 min walk without it going dead on me. I'm turning it in today to see if i can get it fixed. Every review I have read shows these headphone have issues and need to be sent in for repair (as well as all the guys at the gym I talked to) so just be warned.
