3 pairs later, still don't work!!

I've had it with this product. I am now on my THIRD pair of headphones and am still having issues. The first pair worked great for the first few months when I was traveling, but as soon as I started using them to exercise they crapped out. Volume issues, pairing issues, pause/volume button stopped working. So Apple sent me a new pair... I didn't even have a chance to use them because they had the same problems. Now I'm on my third pair and am having issues turning them on and off. I'm done. Apple needs to recall this product or at least give people their money back after they've gone through numerous replacement pairs.

    HORRIBLE!!! NOT SWEAT RESISTANT!!!!

I should have known better after having had this issue with the Powerbeats 2, but just like everyone else, sweat destroys them! When I first got them, they lasted a month, then I knew what I was in for with the 3s. They would automatically shut off, not hold a charge, then just flat out wouldn't turn on. Of course, send for repair, then I'm lucky if they last two weeks. I'm getting ready to send them off for the third time. Ridiculous...Apple usually has great customer service, but I'm left with no other option than to repeat this process until my warranty is up. They won't even tell me what is causing the issue! It's kind of criminal that this is allowed to happen when it's so obvious a problem for almost everyone who uses them. Would give a zero if I could...

    What a waste of money

Stay away from these - got them less than 3 months and already need replacement.
Battery is draining at a fast rate and the device is not even on (and won't turn on!).
    Take your money elsewhere
One of Apple's worst acquisitions ...

    Won't last long

For me they sounded great, worked with my iWatch when running. Cool!
But they were completely dead 6 months in. ~£150 is too much for a shoddy product such as this.

    Terrible quality

I literally begggggged my friend (who hates apple) to get me these headphones and when I got them for Christmas I was sooo excited!! Two months go by and they stop working all of a sudden so I had them replaced. Two months later my second pair has died and won't stay on more than 5 minutes I'm so irritated that I got 200 dollar headphones that can't last even a year. Thanks a lot apple

    Not sweat resistant!

Unfortunately these are not sweat resistant. They break every few weeks when I run with them. The longest a single pair has lasted for me is 68 days. The only reason that particular pair lasted for 68 days is because I stopped using them for 40 days after my marathon training ended. I received my first pair on November 11, 2016 and my sixth pair is on the way (I am writing this on July 5, 2017). At least Apple support keeps sending me a new pair, but I know I will get exactly one year of use out of these (because the warranty will expire). Not a good deal considering they sell for $200 and I had to buy a second pair of headphones to use every time I need to ship these back (different brand, of course!). There is clearly a design flaw with these headphones.

Dont Last - Not Sweat Resistant

I have purchased 2 separate pairs of beats and both start to increase / decrease volume, pause / play music and launch siri with out me touching the controls when I run. This includes both pairs of headphones and the replacements I have received. Rather pay for new headphones than get ANOTHER replacement of these

    Apple should recall

I can't believe Apple spent 3billion on buying these.
They have a incredible look, feel and sound to them but these are ridiculous. The constant changing the volume and activating Siri is too much. I'm constantly battling with volume control. Not to mention it's inability to connect to your devices or to turn them off makes this almost unbearable.
I wish I didn't spend 249$ on this product. This is the first Apple product I absolutely hate. Shame on you!!

Sadly, they don't live up to the promise.

The sound and fit are great but clearly this statement from the marketing blurb is inaccurate "Sweat and water resistance provides the necessary durability for strenuous workouts and weather." Mine lasted 4 months (which judging by the other reviews was good!!!)

Waiting On my 3rd pair Not happy at all

First sweatproof headphones that aren't. I work outside in Texas heat so I sweat a lot. The very reason I purchased these sweat and waterproof headphones. I have the powerbeats 2 also I love those but haven't made a year and I've had to replace these twice I'm so disappointed with this product as fair as this goes.

    Poor product

Lasted 4 months then started having battery problems. Battery's started lasting about 1 hour max. Will try Bose instead.

    Dead after 2 months

These worked great for a couple months. easy bluetooth sync, good ergonomics when working out, pretty good sound. Then the battery life got shorter and then they just died. $100 for 2 months? I can't find good bluetooth earphones from any provider!

    Bad Experience Repeatedly

Same problem as most who report feedback. Multiple replacements due to sweat during exercise. I do not consider this headset even water resistant. No way. Asked customer service for any other options, even a credit to trade into another more dependable pair since this is my 4th replacement, and no other option given. Really bad choice for Apple and for me. Huge disappointment for the price I paid.

Stopped working in under 2 weeks!

I sweat a lot when I work out so figured since these are sweat resistant they would be a good buy...nope! After owning them for a little over a week the volume started lowering and muting itself on its own then my songs would automatically pause. I thought it was something with my phone so went to Apple 2 days in a row and then myself not Apple discovered it was the Powerbeats 3 and the volume control now just stopped working altogether. Very disappointing product and Apple needs to change these out asap because there is obviously a mis-manufacture somewhere and not worth the money.

    Unsuitable for serious running

I purchased these headphones a few months ago on the assumption that they would be suitable for running. However, on every run I have tried to use them they have been very loose, resulting in sweat getting into the earbuds and making them very uncomfortable within about 10 minutes. I have persevered with them on many runs, but despite trying every possible combination of earbud sizes and fits they have never stayed in place, leaving the uncomfortable sensation of sweat being pushed into the ear canal during use. I appreciate that the same set of headphones is unlikely to perfectly fit every user, but given the very high price of these headphones it is not unreasonable to expect that they were comfortable for more than 10 minutes of a workout. Overall these headphones are highly disappointing.

    Bad, Bad, BAD!!!

These headphones, while comfortable like the PowerBeats 2, have serious design and engineering flaws. Not sure how Apple can claim these as their staple workout headphones. ANY sweat will short out these headphones. Don't waste your money, go find a pair of sweat and waterproof headphones that actually work!

£100+ FOR SOMTHING THAT MAY AS WELL BE HOLLOW!

    Recently bought for my 18th...

    POSITIVES:
    - Usual standard of sound quality, (Good sound)
    - Nice ergonomic design, fits well to the ear
    - Aesthetically pleasing overall

    NEGATIVES:
    - Inline volume button, mic etc... just will not work on iPad Pro or iPhone 6
    - can't pause or play any music/sound without getting phone out of pocket.

Bottom line - (heh literally) is £100 + and doesn't work!!

    Useless - SAVE YOUR MONEY

Considering these headphones are wireless they are NOT VERY USEFUL seeing as every time I try to use them the bluetooth connection breaks. I have tried them with every device I own, iPhone, laptop, iPad all with the same FRUSTRATING result. I would give this product ZERO STARS if it was allowed. Save your money and buy Skullcandy or some other reputable brand - these are junk.
