    Powerbeats 3 as bad as 2 - Shockingly Unreliable

    OK so this is now my 3rd set that have failed me. This set are 3 weeks old and have been used 4 times and charged once. I've read horror stories of people on their 12th replacement. DO NOT BUY THESE - They have to be the most unreliable electronics product that I've ever purchased. Shame on Apple - These are so far from the standard that we come to expect of Apple 'bombproof' products.

    Not worth even one star

    At first I thought was great product , but once jumped on treadmill sweating my Powerbeats didn't even turn on nomore
    So what's happen now ? Do I get replacement

    Total trash

    I have owned the Powerbeats 2 for about a year I actually like them a lot not the best sound but for me everything works great the Powerbeats 3 on the other hand TOTAL GARBAGE to start they feel cheap not like any other apple product the new pairing process is a joke never works and worst of all sound quality is absolutely terrible I can't even describe how bad they sound you can buy headphones from the dollar store that sound better and I'm not being sarcastic horrible horrible horrible horrible DONT BUY

    Trash

    Buy these for people you hate, because they are terrible. About to contact Apple to get my second replacement in two months...these are plagued with sporadic pausing, volume up, and volume down issues.

    Terrible product. I would rather have nothing than have these headphones.

    Having gone through multiple pairs of powerbeats2 headphones due to their poor build quality and defective batteries, I was hopeful that after Apple had purchased the franchise that new quality control standards would be enforced and that the powerbeats3 would be better. This has apparently not happened. The volume controller weighs down the left headphone so that it rotates on your head while running, creating a very irritating asymmetric feel. Also the maximum volume output of the headphones is so low that the background music coming from the gym PA is clearly audible even when the volume is set to max output. I purchased these beats three days ago and I am returning them tomorrow.

    Software Malfunction

    Good battery life!
    Comfort is great.
    I love the sound of these Beats.

    But I've used them for 6 months and have returned them twice due software malfunction. After recharging the Powerbeats3 get stuck. You can't turn them on and have to return them for repair.

    You can't reset the device and when it does turn on you can't use the controls anymore.
    It even activated siri (on iPhone and MacBook) on its own.
    It stops playing music.
    The volume is going up and down without using the device.

    This happend to me after 1 month - got a replacement - then again after 4 months - just send them back for repair -. I've used them only in the gym for 2 hours - 5 days a week. If you look it up online searching google under 'Powerbeats3 mallfunctions' you will see this is a common problem.

    Even with this malfunction it is a very good device. But not advised to buy until Apple can fix the bug.

    HORRIBLE

    I have owned these since Christmas 2016 (about 6 months) and I would 20000% not recommend.
    I am calling in to order my 4th replacement because of all the reasons you hear from everyone else: pausing songs, volume changing, buttons not working and then not powering on. Do yourself a favor and buy a different pair of headphones, because these are junk.

    Same sweat problem as everyone else!!

    I'm so mad!! I bought the Powerbeats 3 because I lost my Pb2. I actually thought of buying the 2 again because I found the price for the 3 a little high. Luckily I was able to get the 3 on sale. Boy was I excited with my new pair. Next thing you know... wth happened during my 10 minute warm up on the treadmill. First time it happened I didn't think of anything. Now I constantly have to wipe my neck the minute I start to sweat just to avoid a drop of sweat from going inside and turning off. What can I do? Is there something that customer service can do? Honestly., this is really messed up. They need to fix this issue ASAP and send everybody a replacement pair. I did not pay this much money (even on sale) for this. Seriously considering I'm getting a pair of Powerbeats 2 again. Please help!! Extremely frustrated and angry customer

    On my 2nd pair after 3 months

    First one would not power off then stop connecting even when using a different type of headphones. Went to the apple store and all they did was reset all my iphone settings. Two days later same thing would not connect and went back to the store they sent it in for repair. They sent me a new one and 4 days later the new one wont power off even when I disconnect it for the phone settings. I have the beats x and this have never happened before and they work wonders. I will be going back to the apple store tues to have them send me another. Will never buy a power-beats again will thick with bose or sony

    Not an option

    So after changing them 4 times still same issues with the battery discharge by itself (without using) and fail buttons. I'm simply giving up on power beats at all hope apple comes with a solution to this with following products but this seems to be their bottom line although not cheap at all.

    Powerbeats 3 DONT PURCHASE

    I purchased a pair of Powerbeats3 lasted one week went back to Best Buy exchanged for a new pair and the second pair lasted 10 days and stopped working. I used them at the gym and at home do not purchase the Powerbeats3 very horrible product Apple should be very ashamed.

    Worst Earphones I've had

    Honestly read the reviews and trust the reviews, these Powerbeats3 are absolutely the worse. After 3 weeks of use they would just stop working, no reason and then the volume would lower and songs would change by themselves. DO NOT BUY!!! Read and believe the reviews and to make it even worst they give you a lot of hassle to change them!!!

    Horrible!!!!!!!!!! Do Not Buy

    I bought these "sweat resistant" Powerbeats3 for the gym. The product page says "Rain, sweat or shine-these water resistant earphones push you further and handle tough training." So far the first pair I had stopped working after 1 month. Once I started sweating a little they would stop pairing with my iPhone. I did a firmware update and a reset by holding the low volume button and the pairing button for 20 seconds. I took them back to the nearest Apple store 45 minutes away. They had to ship them back for repair or replacement. Rather than just exchanging them in the store I had to wait a week. Ok, no big deal, back to the wired headphones for a week.
    The replacement pair arrived and now I'm back to the same issue on the replacement pair. After 20 minutes and a little sweat at the gym they shut off and won't pair back up. The only thing these thing are pushing me further away from Apple!
    DO NOT BUY THESE EARPHONES. NOT WORTH $200 or even $2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Not meant for exercise as it's not SWEAT PROOF! False Advertised!!

    Got this powerbeats 3 not long ago and whenever you take it for a run or working out in the gym. It will work like a charm for about 20 mins or so until you start sweating and where things will go wrong with the earphones. The power controls will stop functioning! the earphone itself will turn itself OFF and won't turn back on until it is completely dry or after a few hours only it will be back to normal.

    So for those who wishes to get your new wireless bluetooth earphone for working out! BETTER STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT UNTIL IT"S FIXED!!! Taking mine back to the service center for repair again!

    2nd pair of Powerbeats 3 just died

    My first pair last less than a month before they malfunctioned (wouldn't charge up, couldn't be recognized by laptop). Asked at the retailer whether he'd seen problems with the model. His answer was vague enough to have me a little worried.
    2nd pair just died and I have experienced all the various problems mentioned in these posts, most werr recoverable, but as of yesterday they will not power down after charging and so are flat when I want to use them, also not able to pair with phone or recognised by laptop (even is connected by cable). Resetting the unit achieves nothing. i so want these to work but clearly they do not and clearly it is a design flaw. Poorly implemented product. Not sure why Apple is not acting. Class action anyone?

    4th Headset

    this is frustrating. im on my 4th headset since it came on at the end of 10/2016. It will disconnect and die.. i keep thinking from the past "defects" that it was not charged but its fully charged! It will disconnect all the time! APPLE! FIX THIS!!!

    Junk. Just don't work

    They won't turn off. They won't sync with an Apple Watch without rebooting it first. They have difficulty syncing to an iPhone. They don't do a single thing right. Utter junk.

    Hopeless

    I am now on my 3rd set since Feb 17, awaiting my 4th. Buttons stop working, stops charging, won't turn off, list seems endless. Avoid these useless headphones.
