    Poor quality

I've bought 3 different pairs of UR beats with the same results. Each time after a year or so of use, one of the buds either stops working or works intermittently. The new style seemed more durable but failed under the test. I use the headphones for basic workouts 3-4 times a week and paid extra attention this last pair to limit any destruction. Of course each pair seems to last a month or two after the 1 year warrenty, convenient. Would not recommend for the price and unfortunate lack of quality. Better off buying cheaper brand for same results.

Great until they stopped working and fell apart.

I absolutely loved my beats when I first got them. I have had them for a year and 3 months now. The sound started to go in one of the buds before I even had them for a year. The mesh piece where the sound comes out of the headphone has separated on both of the buds, luckily I was able to get them back on. The rubber insulation is falling off near the microphone/volume control, exposing the wires. Now, the right earbud has separated into 3 pieces and slips apart when I use it. This is highly upsetting because I bought these headphones thinking they would be a great quality and last at least 2 year. I have had a $25 pair of head phones that lasted me 3 years without breaking. Really hoped these beats would be worth it but now I will never buy beats again. Don't recommend buying these unless you don't use them often or don't mind spending $100 on a pair of headphones that barely last a year.

    Lose features pretty quickly

While they fit perfectly, I have had three pair breakdown after eight months or so. First, a caller cannot hear my voice when jingling me, and I have to go right to holding the iphone to have a conversation. Volume control has broken so I have to manually change volume on the phone. At this price, obviously, I am not pleased with what should be a premium product.

    Great Sounding EarPhones

I got the urBeats as a Christmas Gift in Space Gray. I use them exclusively for work. I'm a writer in an office that can get pretty noisy and distracting with background noise and talking. As soon as I pop in the urBeats they block out unwanted sounds and I can concentrate and get lost in my music. I listen for hours at a time, everyday, all week. These are durable and comfortable. Most important, they sound great. I listen to a variety of music including indie rock, metal, EDM and more. These earphones faithfully reproduce all instruments. I mostly use streaming services and my MP3 player. I use my computer's DTS EQ to slightly lower the bass levels and slightly increase treble. The results are crystal-clear music listening that's approved by my discerning ears.

    Right Speaker Broke!!!

I purchased these earbuds about six months ago and they worked just fine for a while until the right ear speaker completely went out. This came as a shock to me, as I would always clean them and make sure to take care of the beats. I did some research and found out that many people have had issues with speakers going out. Because of that issue, I would not recommend these earbuds to anyone, until the problem is resolved. Apple please fix this problem.

This is the worst pair of buds I've ever owned. The sound, is terrible. The price for what you get is terrible. Because of the price and the hype you get the impression that you'll get a decent pair of buds with great sounds, instruments in the background that you don't catch on other buds. Not the case here. I bought a 20$pair of buds from Best Buy and they are great, yeah, I can pick out background instruments and sounds that I can NOT hear with these Beats. Garbage. Don't waste your money. For sure not even close to being worth more than 15-120$, never mind 100! Beats are a Rip Off.

These head phones sound great, fit well in your ear( if you follow the instructions that are included it says to stick the pod in your ear and then twist gently.) No problem.... Also I think the people who can't figure out how,to use the rubber case have problems... Again no issues. But these if u want great sound.

    SOLD! Awesome...

I have listened to music for many years like we all have and these are simply the best on the market! When it comes to sound they are top notch, However the bluetoothe to the cell phone half the time when I am on the phone with someone they say they cannot hear me and that I need to take those off your head, due to the importance of the call. Yet at the end day they are simply priceless and mine got stolen yesterday, no we cannot track them. Beats doesn't care! Now I got spend another $320.00 in chance for another pair. That's fair...

    !st Beats buy

These are just okay. Use mostly while in the gym. Nothing special about them, not much better than regular earphones. Not worth the price of 100 bucks. Also, these get nasty pretty quick with sweat, hair gel, during workouts..sometimes slide out of ears. Nothing special here.

    Best headphones ever

APPEARANCE/CONSTRUCTION 10/10: I have the white and red ones and these thing are simply gorgeous. With a high gloss coating, shiny chrome metal near the speaker, and the iconic "b" logo at the end. Sometimes I just find myself staring at them for minutes on end because they are so stunning. They have a very durable metal housing and soft flat tape wiring, and while the flat design does a phenomenal job at resisting tangles, unlike the traditional round wired construction, the flat style is at slight risk of "kinking", which is very minor and very manageable. For all the people who say that these headphones are cheap and don't last long, I suggest not balling them up and shoving them in your pocket, or casually throwing them on the ground and stepping on them, or "accidentally" running them through the washer and dryer multiple times. If you actually take great care of your possessions, rather than treating them like garbage, you should see many years of enjoyment out of them. FITTING 9/10: while these headphones come with four different sized sleeves to customize with, they do occasionally fall out or need occasional readjustment. This isn't a problem at all for me because I haven't had a single pair of earbuds in my entire life that didn't have that issue to some extent, and considering the fact that all I listen to is Death Metal, and headbang constantly, I think it holds up pretty well. SOUND 13/10: this is obviously the most important aspect of headphones, and I've owned many many pairs of earbuds in my day, and these urbeats, without a shadow of a doubt have the best audio quality I've ever heard in my entire life! With bombastic and explosive bass, a deep rich low end, and crystal clear high end and treble, and unlike many people's opinion, I feel like the balance between the two ends of the sound spectrum are is completely seamless and utterly flawless. The bass and snare drums are where these headphones really shine. With the snares echoing from all directions with zero distortion no matter how high the volume, and the bass drums so incredibly deep and powerful that it sounds like the kick pedal is lodged deep in my cerebral cortex and it's hitting directly against my eardrums. To all the comments saying that the sound quality in the apple headphones that come with the iPhone is better...REALLY?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? The only reason everyone is hating on these headphones and the sound quality is for ONE reason only, because they're Beats®. I GUARANTEE that if you take the same sound quality found in these headphones, and put them in a pair of trendy hipster audiophile headphones that only 4 people on planet earth has ever heard of, they would be like "OH MAN THESE ARE THE BEST EARBUDS EVER MADE!!" But because they're Beats®, and because they're so popular, and everyone and their mother has heard of them, it's trendy to hate on them, and that's just pathetic. If these earbuds can perfectly handle the extreme ins and outs of Death Metal, it can certainly handle any other genre easily. These are the greatest earbuds I've ever owned, and I hope to get many years of use out of them!!

    I've had these for YEARS!!!

So my ex boyfriend gave these to me about 6 years ago. I've used them to death. I've slept in them. Worked out in them. I've bathed in them (being careful of course!). And yet they endured my torture for years. Until one fateful day the right earbud started to flutter. I could fiddle with the cord and get it to work. This tact worked for about 6 months until finally it went out completely. And then I noticed that the section where the two cords join under that rubber connector the wire is Exposed and Twisted. So I guess it's just Tangle Free on the Outside. But All in All after reading other reviews I guess I'm just lucky they lasted so long!
