    Cant listen while charging

I thought I would be able to continue listening while the earphones were charing but was completely surprised when the stupid headphones would not play music when connected to a lightning chord. WHY DO THIS??? I bought these to replace all my other headphones, I don't want to have another wired pair for when I am at my desktop after a whole day of use. WHY WHY WHY???

Comfortable, easy to set up, instant pairing and seamless interaction with Apple products. A good all-round sound with enough to please more than just the casual listener. Buy!

I've been looking at the Airpods, but also heard a ton of bad things about it. A few days ago, I've the Beats X, just running through the Apple Store. They're cheaper and look nice too. I've read a few reviews, all great. I'm very happy with it. It's very easy to use and to set up. Charging is very very quick and last thing, the sound is pretty good for the kind of music I listen to (neo metal/metal/rock). They are also very easy to use on the Mac. Just one little bad thing : I didn't find how to turn them of.

Hitting all the right beats (mostly)

    - simple to pair
    - good quality audio ( Comparable to similarly priced non Bluetooth headphones )
    - comfortable design with minimalistic elements
    - fast charge
    - long battery life
    - flawlessly compatible with apple devices on native os

    - minor hiccups when pairing with a windows 10 Mac (boot camp partition ) ( output volume is lowered too, trying to find a fix )

    Great product ..

I m coming from Tour 2 and i must say the beats x are very good headphones ... the bass is not that bad at all (like mentioned in lots of reviews) it is not as punchy as it was on tour 2 but bass is still there.. it is much more balanced clear sound . If u want more bass just turn on bass booster in equalizer... it does the job . Battery life really is 8 houres .. which is great.

    Great sound and connectivity

The sound quality and ease of connectivity is superb but the mic and connection during phone calls is questionable. Audio randomly switches from the headphones back to the phone and the mic does not pick up well. I do recommend the headphones but if you talk on your phone often, this might not be an ideal choice.

From X2 to this! LOVED IT!

The sound quality is almost sounds as the X2 but a little bit louder and bassier which I really really like. Comfort is really great but I still prefer the Jaybird ones because they have shorter wires.. none of the less really worth it for me plus they have extra surprise inside the box. :)

Need 2 Pairs of Beats Throughout the Day

The BeatsX are a great pair of headphones, if you plan on not using them in the gym. These are great to use at work as the battery is great, the headphones are comfortable and the lightning cable charging is convenient. As for the gym, I noticed after a minute on the treadmill that the cords brush against my face and the sound of the wires hitting my face covered the sound of the music. The Powerbeats are great for the gym but not for all day wear, meaning I need to pony up $350 to wear Beats at work and the gym. Hey Beats, how about a bundle for both or release the PB4 as a combination of these two headphones. For now, it looks like I'll be using my JBL wireless headphones and returning the X and PB3.

    Purchase these NOW!

So, I have run the gauntlet when it comes to headphones... Bluetooth, Lightning cable powered, regular 3.5mm connected. Bowers and Wilkins, Bose, RHA, Sol Republic and these are by far the best headphones I've purchased ever. The neck bar you never notice and I have a weird shaped ear and I find most headphones wont stay in my ear if I'm actively moving etc. These stay in my ear the entire time. The bass is just right... not too heavy and not too lite. I also found that the 8 hour battery life quoted is far too conservative. I got a good 10-11 hours out of them. Definitely get them if you're on the fence like I was, you won't regret it!

    Freezes My Phone

When I first got it I immediately tried to connect to my phone due to how easy it seemed to be but, to my surprise it froze my phone. I got home thinking it was a bug and tried again. After waiting a few minutes to unfreeze itself my phone restarted so I decided to turn off the Beats X and my phone magically unfroze. It only freezes when it is connected to the Beats. I don't know if the problem is my phone or the Beats.

    So far so good

I'm very happy with these and I have no remarks on the sound or quality. I have some bad experiences with Beats in general regarding quality and the ones I have been using have broken down on several occasions.

The sound is really good, make sure your earbuds are fitted nicely to your ears otherwise you loose bass.
The battery time is really good, have been enjoying them for long periods of time and used the quick charge once with good result.
They feel comfortable and they dont weigh much at all.

However they look a little bit weird around your neck, really cool tough when stuck together with the magnets.

Finally, something that is maybe the most important of all for me is durability, I want a pair that lasts me atleast two years with daily use. I dont use them while working out. But anything shorter than that and I'm gonna be sad.

Buy them, you wont regret it. Tad bit on the pricey side but hey they are bluetooth and the freedom of having my phone in another room while walking around getting crisp sound and clean quality on my calls is amazing.

Read them all - see past BS

I have owned these "ear bud" style headphones from Beats for a while now - b4 Apple bought beats, I owned multiple pairs of the "Tour" which are affectively the BeatsX with a cord (and only reason I had multiple pair was because I exchange them under the Best Buy protection plan; available only prior to Apple purchasing) but they were hands down the best earbud headphones I've ever owned (and I own Skullcandy's, Bose', JCV over ear and Beats headphones) and the "X" did not disappoint. Same great sound at wired "tour", ez and FAST to charge as we/I have apple 15 pin charges all over. I like them so much I bought my wife a pair in grey and she loves them too. Not sure why some ppl issues have had issues but so far my pair is solid.

Great sound, super lightweight, ez to connect/pair and charge. 5 stars / 8 out of 10
(where "10" is $120,000 pair of Focal/Tournaire Utopia's and a 9 is a $4000 pair of Audeze headphones). By the way, they are not waterproof and the Controls/microphone go on your left side. Hopefully this will you-

    Worth the money!

Great quality. Fits well. Battery lasts forever. I'd buy these before you buy Apples wireless headphones.

I bought these for running, but the neck cord won't stay put and drags the buds out of my ears.
The worst part is the sound. It is awful. The standard earphones which come with the iPhone 7 are WAY better.
The sound is cheap and tinny. Definitely not what I expected.

    very flat sound

I bought them because of the W1 chip. I was afraid they would be too "bass heavy" as this is what everyone says about beats, they are not. In fact, they sound really flat (I had Bose Soundsports before) as if listening through a pane of glass. My other bluetooth (cheap) headphones showed a battery status on my iPhone and warned me 5 MInutes before being empty, the beats don't - they just shut down in the middle of a song. I am more then underwhelmed.

I really wanted to like these

Ever the gadget freak, the demo set instantly connected in the Apple Store, great sound. I was sold. Took them home, read the instructions, charged them up, and… zilch. Would not connect. Period. I'm not new to Bluetooth headphones. I have the AirPods, Jaybird X2 and SoundBlaster cans. Although the last two aren't instantaneous like the AirPods with the W1 chip, I've never had any issues connecting. These? Nope. Tried six ways to Sunday. Probably a defective pair. Returned, did not want to take another chance. Going with the X3 instead.
