Battery doesn't charge anymore, just a month from I bought

Just a few weeks after bought it, I have tried to recharge it, a red LED is blinking forever. I have waited one-hour on charging, but the red LED still blinking and the battery have not charged yet. I have thought there is a problem on my BeatsX. I payed $150 in this earphones and cannot use it. Absolutely disappointed.

    Terrible sound quality

The marketing for BeatsX earphones is excellent. The problem is that the reality does not match up to it. The sound quality is truly appalling. I honestly could not believe it. There is literally no bass. The earphones sound tinny and suck the life out of most music. Acceptable if you only intend to listen to the spoken word, but given that the "reputation" Beats has is rooted in music (a bass-heavy sound at that), it is astonishing that they have the gall to charge £130 for a product that sounds like a £10 headset. I wonder if they'll keep this review posted or even bother to get in touch with me to offer some form of solution - they have my email address...

    Not bad

The quality of sound is really good, but one of the earphones irritates my ears because it is rubber.

Runners! this review Is for YOU

These headphones are awesome for The weight room but for running it might be questionable. For future beats ex I think the cord needs to be a lot shorter especially for people who are small like me. If the cord was similar to the Powerbeats the headphones would be perfect. I am a runner and I was excited to try out these headphones with my Apple Watch but today as I was going on a faster run more of a sprint/fast jog the length of the headphone string seemed to be too long and flopped all over my neck which forced me to hold onto the cords and adjust it constantly! These headphones sound great and are super awesome in the weight room but I am pretty bummed that they aren't really successful well I am running.

    Best Wireless Earbuds for iPhone

Great set of wireless headphones if you are using them casually. They aren't sweat proof, so that's something to consider. But if you're an active traveler, I'd find it hard to argue for the money that you can find a better pair of wireless headphones. The W1 chip and lightning charging capability with fast fuel make them worth every penny. 5min gets you TWO hours of playback! On top of that, I've easily put over 7hrs of nearly continuous use without them dying. That makes them perfect for keeping wires out of your way when on a plane, in the airport, and walking to the next destination. Get these, you won't be angry. I would give them 5 stars if they had slightly more midrange and mid-low performance. But with that said, they sound good for what they are.

    Horrible user experience

I bought these as a dedicated set of headphones for running. What has ensued during my ownership is nothing short of not quite ready for primetime.

I am able to use this headset for one single use. That is I charge, turn it on, pair it, and everything works great. Then I turn them off. When I go to turn them back on, long story short, I have to delete their profile from my phone and re-pair them so everything works again. If I do not delete the profile and re-add them, when they turn on, they aren't fully connected to the phone. You get no headset icon in the status bar. But when a phone call comes in the phone app thinks the headset is there. If I choose the use the beats on the active call, the connection never gets made. A timeout is reached and then the phone call reverts back to phone. While these are in la la land, I am able to turn up other bt headphones and they work fine. the issue is this headset. Once I delete their bt profile and re-add them, they're fine again until I turn them off.

This product needed significantly more testing. This should not happen. By contrast I own the Beats Solo 3 and those are phenominal.

    Broke down completely!

Less than 2 months out and the earphones broke down. Nothing could fix it. Apple store provided a replacement, which I ain't sure if I'll be getting a new or a refurb! disappointed. May be I had the defective piece. Lets see how long the replacement goes on for.

Sound is great - fall out of my ears though

I love the sound, the overall idea, and how well it works with Apple products, but the part that goes in your ear constantly falls out and/or I am constantly pushing them back in. I've tried all of the different sizes. Almost wish they made a hard ear bud instead of these rubber ones. Maybe accessories down the road?

    No Bass Whatsoever

I wanted to love the Beatsx so much- even trying them out multiple times in the store, but I just couldn't take the sound quality. These earbuds have NO bass whatsoever. I am shocked at those who are stating that the sound quality is awesome- because it sounds like you're hearing music out of a tin can- the music sounds hollow! As far as comfort and design, these are great. But there are earbuds that are a lot cheaper and sound 10x better. Returned them after 1 day. Would give the 2 1/2 stars if I could.

    Better than Airpods

I love how it just hangs around my neck. The battery life is great. I didn't have to wait for 6 weeks before it gets in my own hands.

they were very good at first but then...

so after having them since the day they came out , they don't want to work at all which was a disappointment because i thought apple did a good job at first but nope they don't work at all i will be going to the apple store and see if i can get new ones or something but yeah the sound went out and LED light kept blinking red and then it went off completely so basically they worked very good until that day it went out.oh yeah another thing i did not get them wet or anything i just hope my next pair works.

    3rd use and it's dead

My 3rd (and last, this time for sure) Beats earphone and again I am disappointed. Bought Beats x two months ago and after 3rd or 4th use it is simply dead! No lights on, no charging! Absolutely frustrating.

    Nice Synchronization; Poor Sound Quality

It's really nice that these headphones sync across all your iCloud devices, so you only have to sync them once. Plus, the W1 chip means that the quality of the bluetooth connection is very good. On the other hand, the sound quality of these headphones leaves a lot to be desired. Audio is very shallow and echoy, with little to no bass. Other wireless headphones like the Bose SoundSports have a much better range of audio. In addition, the design is an odd one. The length of the cabling means it folds back on itself when you put them in your ears and tap against your neck as you move. It would be much nicer if the lightning connector were put on the PowerBeats - because for some reason, when Apple is so committed to lightning and not switching to USB-C, the PowerBeats were given micro-USB - and they were given a better range of audio, that would be an excellent overall design.

Stopped working in less than a month

First and last Beats. I liked the design and sound, I was really liking them, but all of a sudden stopped working. The earphones are dead with less than a month of usage....I was expecting more $150. As a huge Apple fan, I feel very disappointed!

Best Bluetooth headphones I ever owned

These headphones are outstanding. With the same W chip used in the AirPods all problems with pairing and switching between devices disappear. This is how Bluetooth should have been but never was. The sound is great, passive sound isolation is excellent, remote controls always work, battery life is very good and they're comfortable. I got them because I didn't want to wait for the AirPods but now I'm pretty sure I prefer them, because of the remote controls, sound isolation and round the neck design that means I won't lose them while cycling.

    Seamless Perfection

Purchased these in March 2017. Have used for about 10 hours a day since - they are simply amazing. Switching between iphone and mac is so smooth its unbelievable. Would think again about buying if I was an android/pc user but for the self-confessed Apple lover these JUST WORK. Full charge takes minutes and lasts hours/days. Absolutely love them!

Fantastic w/ iPhone, not so much w/ MBP

I bought a pair of BeatsX to solve a problem: Not being able to lean back in an office chair when a wired pair of headphones are connected (not possible when MBP is on a stand hooked up to a monitor). To be completely fair, BeatsX works fantastic when using with my iPhone 7, e.g., battery life is great, noise canceling, definitely a step up in sound quality from the stock earbuds, but those weren't the goals with this purchase. Improving my office experience was. When connected to a 2015 MBP retina, there's a very noticeable failure in sound every other second. The best way I can relate this experience is by comparing it to listening to a heavily scratched DVD. If you're buying to use this product with an iPhone, I totally recommend, but if you're buying for office use with a Macbook Pro, I recommend looking at other Apple (because of W1 chip) products.
