    Size doesn't matter (hehe)

Honestly it's fine. The cover sticks out a little on the side, but not enough to where it "digs into your hand" or makes the volume buttons inaccessible. It does its job. It protects your iPad and locks/unlocks it when you open or close it. You're all freaking out over nothing.

    No One Understands Do they?

I get that you guys don't like the overhang. The reason there is an overhang is because it is meant to pair w/ the silicone case*

This Smart Cover does what is supposed to do. It has great materials and colors and on and off with opening and closing it.

    Great material, bad magnets.

Honestly the size doesn't bother me at all, I think it's ok. At first it worked great but apparently with time this three little magnets start to wear out, not very safe for when you are watching something and have to catch the iPad in free fall or it'll break against the floor, or in bed and have to put it back every time, tedious.

    Stop complaining

Honestly, based on these other reviews, you'd think the case sticks out a whole inch. Really, the fit is fine. Yes it juts out on the right edge a millimeter or two at most, but it's hardly noticeable, and it's perfectly flush on the top and bottom edges. I didn't want to pay for the silicone back cover, but I wanted something to protect the screen, and this does just that while looking great at the same time. If you just want a light Apple case for the front of your iPad, don't worry about these other reviews, this case is probably what you're looking for.

It's too large and doesn't have the "perfekt fit" it should have.

    Too large for the iPad

After reading other's reviews, I stopped in an Apple Store today to check these out myself. I explained what I had read on the internet about the size to the guy working there and he allowed me to open one up and try it before I bought it. As many reviews state, it overhangs the iPad by a few millimeters. When the cover is closed, it's not a huge deal (other then looking sloppy). However when you have the cover folded back, the extra width on it is annoying because it digs into your hand and it makes accessing the volume buttons difficult because of the overhang. I ended up not purchasing one. I understand that it works better if you have the silicone back, but I don't want the extra bulk. I hope they come out with an updated version.

    Functional and Stylish

The smart cover is a perfect match with the smart case (white). I love the texture and the quality is perfect. I love this cover :)

An Obvious Attempt For More Money Do Not Purchase!

When I first opened this case I was excited. The Smart Cover looks great, and the material is top notch. It seemed to be just a little thicker than previous versions, it would prop my iPad up nicely. However, when I put the cover on, I was shocked to see that it sticks out past the iPad itself. Apparently, this allows it to sit flush with the optional case you can purchase for another $70. Some may think that those of us who are leaving poor reviews are just OCD, but it is much worse than that. When you fold the cover back to hold the iPad I'm portrait mode, the extra length of the case digs into your hand making it very uncomfortable to use. I will be sending mine back. The first return in my 12 year history as a Apple customer.
