    Love! Great quality!

I bought the AirPods for running- I was so sick of fumbling with wires bouncing every stride. I am beyond satisfied with them! They’re better quality than my previous earbuds from Apple (with the wire). They last for hours and charge quickly. I definitely recommend them!!

I don’t hate them but they are just like the ear buds.

My title being said, I do like the concept (love it actually) but come on Apple, one size doesn’t fit all. If you have issues with the ear buds that come with your phone you will not find these any better. They consistently fall out with any less than upright movement. Not great at the gym if you move much during your workouts. I seem to have the most issues with my right ear (same as with the ear buds).

What’s right: The tech is solid. The syncing is decent the sound is excellent (if environment around you is loud then it’s not great) but all in all they sound good. The mics work well and I never have any complaints about people being able to hear me. They are cool. I do also own a pair of beats and they are better than them for day to day. Beats are now used for loud things and the gym.

What’s wrong: The fitment is still horrible. Same as the other ear buds that come with your phone. Apple needs to come up with some form of adaptors that will adjust for the ear. We are not all the same 5’ 6” hipsters that Apple pictures us as. And our ears are all different. Also not sure why but they don’t always connect. They say they are but not always. It can be a pain. The software to link needs some work. Another challenge is the shortcuts for talking to Siri pausing etc need more options for customizing.

I went two stars because of the fit. It’s still the worst for me. Maybe sell a few different sizes? I don’t know.

    great....but the battery

I love my airpods for the most part! they sit nicely in my ears, never fall out.... even when running. my only complaint is the battery life. it is advertised they should last up to five hours listening to music, but mine barely last over an hour. it is very disappointing and frustrating. otherwise I am very satisfied with them.

Awesome product I love them just get very dirty so would recommend washing them off with a damp or a little wipe to clean the inside of the charging case but I love them and would recommend them

    Air Pods

Since purchasing these, I find them to be very convenient compared to having a wire hanging from my I Phone. The fit has been fine for me without any issues especially while working out. The sound quality is pleasant and clear, for a guy who is not into high sound definition. Regardless, the change for me has been positive going to a wireless blue-tooth earbud.

Lost a star because of a feature I expected

Overall I am very pleased with my apple AirPods. I have one huge disappointment though. While researching the AirPods I kept reading about a feature to seamlessly connect between my phone and my computer as to not need to actually go into bluetooth settings and select connect. When I purchased them and found out that feature had been removed I was extremely disappointed. I was tempted to only give them 3 stars, but other than that one feature I am very pleased.

    Awesome product...

Those who have given less positive reviews... if they fall out of your ears you can get cheap gel skins that hold them in tight. Those so called audiophiles who say the sound quality is not brilliant - well I AM an audiophile having been involved in music professionally for over 30 years. I have owned Sennheiser, Bose etc and bang for buck these are up there with them - so well worth the money. I got these and on opening the charge box the connect option popped up on my iPhone X. Went straight to playing Something (VIP) by Azedia to check out the bass notes in particular - absolutely brilliant... across the whole range! These are better than any other earphones produced by Apple. Make sure you have the right equalisation settings on your phone to get the best out of these. Highly recommended *****

Can’t find when lost/connection started dropping.

They were great when I first got them. Took them to work for 6 months I’m in the building trade. Get a call. Put them in get great sound on call then listen to music. Wear them at gym, don’t fall out. Started to lose connection last few weeks. The problem is the box is so shiny slippery and small it falls out of your pocket lost them last week at cinema visit. No iphone finder to find them as this only works when they are out of the box. I think they need a way to attach the box (iPod shuffle) keyring attachment!

    Disappointing

    Negatives:
Bluetooth: Connectivity has been a major issue. Daily dropped calls, losing connection while listening to music, etc.
Microphone: The microphone is super sensitive; it captures EVERYTHING. Make sure you're in a quiet place when talking on the phone.
Battery Life: Nowhere near as good as advertised.

    Positives:
Ear compatibility: The airpads do sit nicely in the ears. Good for walking around your house listening to music (when the bluetooth connection works).

Prognosis: While the airpods do work ok when in a home environment, I would not recommend buying them for more than $40-$50. If you can get them at that price point, then enjoy! Otherwise, buy a lower cost alternative that will maintain a bluetooth connection.

Awesome - Better than I expected

I work at home and spend a lot of time on my mobile phone while walking around and doing other things. I needed something I could put in my ears and forget. AirPods fit the bill perfectly. They are super comfortable to leave in for a long time, have great sound and seem to pick up my voice just as well as a wired set. I need to be mindful of recharging after really long calls but for my use-case that is never a problem. The effective range pretty much covers the space of my condo but I due to cement walls it can get a bit iffy when I'm at the furthest point away from my phone. I generally keep the phone in the same room but it's not an issue to walk away.

    Great investment!

The seamless connection, great sound quality, durable/attractive build, and extensive battery life make this a must buy for anyone in the apple ecosystem.

Great...when they work, which is rarely

I bought the Apple AirPods in May 2018. Don't get me wrong, I love the sound quality - when they work. I would have one AirPod that wouldn't play music (usually the left one) while the right worked just fine. Thinking it was a charging issue, I cleaned the connection point and it connected and showed 98% battery on that left AirPod. I tried "forgetting the device" and reconnecting, I tried turning off auto detect for when they are in your ears, I turned the microphone to only one side - all the suggestions I could find online. All were temporary fixes or didn't work at all. I couldn't complete a simple 1 hour workout without losing sound in either of the AirPods while the functions (tapping for next or previous song worked just fine). When they would both play music, the sound coming out of the left AirPod was much quieter than the right regardless of volume. From what I have read online from other users, it appears to be a firmware problem and I am very disappointed in the product for the price point.

    Replacement is expensive!

I like the design, but I regret buying it in the first place because what initially cost 160$, after a couple of months already turned into 234$ (adding the replacement of one lost piece), which is a crazy cost for what the device actually is. The 'Find my airpods' feature is useless. It says it should show a record of the last location of the airpods, but does not work at all.

Air pods review - Bring Life to your AirPods

Air pods are the best for hands free communication while on you go or while you work. I really loved the product

    Pros:
    1. Easy to configure your brand new air-pods with your phone
    2. simple Steps, user friendly
    3. High quality sound
    4. Reduced noise

    Cons:
    1. There is no visual or sensual communication for the user to understand that Airpods are on low battery and they need to charge, other than seeing on phone
    2. I kept listening and all of sudden I saw there is no audio on my left one, however the right one is still rendering the audio. Then I gave all the tires and later I figured out that its running out of battery.

    Suggestion for Improving:
Users can't keep tracking the battery of pods on phone very frequently. Especially while they are on long drivers and on work environment. They just wants hand free.
    1. I suggest once the battery charge comes down to 20%, there should be a voice message from siri or from her boy friend telling your airpords are about to die and ask user to charge the battery..
    2. Also phone should give a voice message on to pods asking, whether user want to go to auto power saving mode once battery drops by by some xx % let's say (45%) on the phone. As user want to be more on hands free
    3. At the same time when my iwatch is getting drained give a voice message.
This way I see my Pods have some intelligence than a just a dummy wireless speaker.

    Has potential

I can't be the only person out there that experiences problems with the fit of the AirPods. I wish there were sizing options (like beats) for the AirPods. There are third-party ear grips that you can purchase, but I find them annoying because you have to remove them every time you want to place the pods back into their case. If there was a way to change the sizing of the AirPods, I would give them 5-stars. I love the design of the AirPods, but its ultra-sleekness aids the AirPods out of my ears.

Apple airpods - should be able to adjust volume

I hope the next generation airpods will have an option to adjust the volume by sliding your finger up and down on either side of the airpods (or both). Unless I have my phone with me, I cannot adjust the volume. ex. when I want to hear someone talking while continuing to listing to music. Please make this happen for the next generation!
