    Sound/Size/bluetooth connection.... A+ .....

Will there be a way to update Airpods, and kill the siri/mute only features? That would be interesting and rise these up to 5 STAR rating.
Here are my observations after a few weeks with them... (IMO)

*no sound control (not a big issue to me, but come on...$35 ones do!)
*i know these are "stand alone" headphones, and a dangle cord would not be "apple like" in its appearance, but many athletes worry about loosing one pod..(the set basically) that is literally smaller than my thumb. a white cord would have been nice.
*yes, i'd like to sometimes be able to listen to music AND hear traffic around me. so one in, one out pauses the music till they're both in your ears!(?) NEEDS FIXED. (i get that they're "alerting" you that an airpod has come out of your ear), but there must be an override? i'd risk more as far as losing them to HEAR traffic.

*fit in ear is darn near perfect! they don't move around.
    *sound quality
    *bluetooth connectivity is strong.
    *easiest paired bluetooth product ever.
*noise canceling (literally just as good as my over the ear $400 pair).
    *apple unique. solid.

    Game changer

I never thought I would fall in love with the AirPods. I was completely wrong! I keep them in all day at work and hardly notice that they're in my ears. Sound is slightly better than standard EarPods, but the fit is definitely more comfortable, and I never feel like they're going to fall out. Another huge bonus is using them for phone calls. People on the other end say they can't tell that I'm not holding the phone to my face. Battery life is fantastic and having the case charge them is incredible and convenient. Best produce Apple has made in the last 5 years.

Decent but much room for improvement

The sound quality is pretty good and the fit is what I would expect from a typical Apple ear bud. My only complaint is the tapping to activate Siri. Tapping only works half of the time and Siri doesn't always pick up on your commands. I wish there were a voice activated command that would initiate Siri instead of tapping. Also, it would be nice and functional to have buttons on the hanging part of the airpods if you don't want to speak commands.

Best set of headphones I've ever owned!

I've always like the newer EarPods because of the way they fit. However, I was hesitant to get the Airpods since I've had several Bluetooth headphones and was never impressed. Decided to go for it and purchase the new Airpods! I can't say enough good things about them. The sound is great! I can be on opposite side of house (ok.. house is around 3000 sf) and the sound quality is still great. They stay placed in my ears well. Charging is quick and simple. I do worry about losing one or the other since they aren't attached and are very small. Other than that... best Apple product in a long time!

    Almost perfect!!

    Two areas for improvement is:

    1. Come with some silicone covers to isolate sound a bit and provide grip while wearing them.
    2. We hate using siri to turn up/down volume. Why can't it be a simple swipe up or down and double tap to pause/accept calls/end calls? (this could be a simple software fix)

Other than that they are great. They may not be for everyones ears but with mine they fit securely. They don't isolate sound which I guess can be a positive or negative. But being truly wireless is such a great feeling. :)

    Magical Mental Floss

From a slick little case that's the size of a pack of dental floss emerges two tiny Golf Tees of pure technological magic. Equal in size and fit to the standard EarPods, there is a somewhat unusual experience in being completely untethered with earphones that you can barely feel yet have them fill your ears with music as well as these do. Bluetooth or wireless headphones are not unusual, but to have so much sound, mobility, and features packed into what essentially weighs nothing in your ears is mind blowing! I have jokingly told people that it feels like the music is coming from inside your head.

Connectivity is a BREEZE! Just open the lid near the phone, wait a few seconds for the prompt, and press "Connect." Done and done! Being able to pause by removing one of the AirPods is yet another dash of pixie dust. Double tapping to access Siri or answer a phone call is even more proof that we are living in the future! The battery life is amazing, especially with the multiple charges provided by the case. I bring them everywhere and have never run out of power or had any connectivity issues.

The only minor complaint I have is when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror they can kind of look like earrings, but maybe that's more a complaint about me.

Oh, and finally, if you pick up an iPhone compatible VR Headset to watch virtual reality videos or play VR games, these are a MUST if they don't already have built in earphones... and even if they do, these are SO much better because you can pause at anytime and still look around the scene simply by removing one and then resume play by putting it back in your ear. MAGIC!

Now if you'll excuse me I have to get to my job at Spacely's Space Sprockets.

    Very good but little delay

Since it is wireless, the iPhone has always a problem with a little bit of delay while typing and interacting; other than that they are fantastic !!! You feel like your head is containing the music and not the iPhone ! Cordless makes your life really better and easier ! Adding it has a pretty long distance

Good design and sound quality, but bad connectivity

I got my Airpods from Apple Store 2 weeks ago and I really love the shape and sound quality. However, I have to complain about the poor connectivity that i have experienced on my set of Airpods. When i used it for phone call, it keeps disconnecting from my iPhone 6s and difficult to reconnect. While I am listening music (from Apple music app), it also keep disconnecting (not as frequent as phone call) and I have to remove one side of Airpods and put it back on my ear (this can be considered as reconnect your Airpods to the phone). Sometime I feel really frustrated and especially when you listening music in the library, the Airpods disconnected and music starts playing on your phone speaker (yep, this happen to me couple times). I hope Apple can come up a solution to address the connectivity issue. I have Bose Sport wireless earphone before and never have issue with such connectivity problem.

    My favorite earbuds

I was extremely skeptical at first (watching the keynote reveal), but I finally broke down and bought a pair. I am completely blown away by the build quality, sound quality, battery life, and overall feel of them. These things are amazing.

They are very lightweight, and I often forget I'm wearing them. The pairing process is extremely simple, and I'm able to switch between my MacBook, iPad, and iPhone with no problems at all.

The sizing is about the same as any pair of apple earbuds. If these do not normally fit your ears, these may be uncomfortable to you. For me though, they fit like a glove.

One last bit, the voice quality and microphone are superb. If you get a lot of calls, these will be great!

The 6-8 week wait is not fun However if they stay in your ears (they do perfectly in mine) there is nothing better on the market for running, biking and any outside excercise activity . In addition I will use them to make phone calls when driving my car. They work perfectly. Well done APPLE. I just hope I dont' lose one!!!

    I wanted to love them

I got them on Day 1 of release and fought with them for weeks before finding out that the Wireless guestt network at work (with certificate install)...were ruining my ability to receive phone calls and use Siri. Hours of troubleshooting and replacing equipment...painful.

They worked great for about two weeks and the newer pair became defective. After 8 weeks of struggle...the "magic" wasn't worth it. I am returning them and hope the Beats X is a better experience.

    Absolutely Amazing

The AirPods are quite pricey but are very worth it. They don't look too hot but there sound quality makes up for that. They have so many cool features packed into these little buds. You also get to use them for a long time, I rarely have to charge them. I would definitely recommend these.

These were well worth the wait. The case is smaller than you expect, and easily pocketable. The buds are comfortable, fit snugly and I don't worry about them falling out. Sound quality is on par with the wired EarPods (which always sounded fine to me) but the ability to walk around my apartment untethered to my phone/mac is honestly amazing. They pair instantly to my phone and popping one out to pause is genius. The lack of playback controls is fine for me because I have an apple watch to adjust volume from my wrist. I don't find Siri terribly convenient for adjusting volume or pausing/skipping songs etc. That's the only downside I think.

    when they work! when.

Connection issue, always, once there connected and I'm listening to music / podcast there ok, but if i get a call, and put them in, impossible to connect, I've heard this from many people. Very Very frustration. They dont just work. In fact the Bose QC35 just work. i have both. I love the idea of the apple pods and i do use them everyday, just the connection issue that makes them frustrating.
