The WORST wireless headphones i have ever used.

The Airpods Crackle, disconnect, go into a mono mode unexpectedly, and in general freak out when ever i use them on a regular basis. I have had them for a month and i feel that i have wasted my money. Worst Apple product i have ever purchased.

    Worth It

I love these head phones for one simple reason and that's how easy it is to enjoy my music, yes no more cords and it connects to your device quick and easy. And another thing I may add is it STAYS CONNECTED ! unlike any other blue tooth device out there. I also really love the range, I can pop these things on and walk all around my apartment while leaving my phone behind with ought any disconnect this is amazing when im doing work around the apartment or cooking in the kitchen. This also allows me to double tap the head phones and ask siri questions like convert ounces in to cups etc..

My only complaint is how long it took to get my hands on em, it took over a month and was very frustrating. But I can say they were worth the wait.

    Extraordinary sound + freedom!

Guys, until you get these you simply have not experienced the joy of music! Fantastic sound, truly wireless freedom without any loss of connection within the bluetooth radius and a perfect fit --that one was a real bonus as I have never found the correct size for me, IEMs included... They stay securely in place too --tested with moderate exercise and dancing.
I love the tiny, smart case that both protects and charges them, providing ample listening time to the most "demanding" ears. There is incredible, unique technology built-in in this minuscule set. Simply amazing.
Now, even boring household chores don't seem as daunting anymore... Hurray!

    Apple hardware usual standard.

If you are wondering wether these are worth the high price I can answer: yes.

I listen to a wide variety of music, from Beethoven to Beyoncé, and the AirPods are good for all of it. They cannot compare to high end Seinheissers of course, but then the seinheissers don't fit in my pocket. For everyday listening these are great - they can handle heavy bass when you're listening to dub, and they clearly pick up all the instruments when you are listening to classical ... though I'd recommend switching to the Classical option on the equaliser for the best sound.

Battery life has been good so far - it can drop fast when you're using them, but they charge quickly, and the charging case holds up well when left for a few days.
The fit is comfortable for me, and I've had no problems with the pods falling out.
It's ridiculously easy to pair the pods to an iPhone - though they will not pair to the old iPhone 4 I still use as an MP3 player. Oh well.

The controls are ok, not great. It's easier to haul your phone out of your pocket than to use Siri.

If you're considering these but are worried by the new tech and high price I'd say 'go for it'. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Oh, I've also used them for watching movies on my iPad and MBA. Easy to pair and good clean sound.

    Amazing Piece of Hardware

What can I say besides I love the AirPods. The AirPods are just as comfortable as their wired headphones but wireless. The charge last for about 5 hours and recharges in less than thirty minutes, depending how low the battery. I personally haven't had an issue with the earphones failing out unless I am lying down. My Bose wireless SoundSports were my go to headphones but now sit unused.

Great concept - not the best for calls

    Great for listening to music.
They are not good for phone calls. Every call I have made and that is multiple a day, the AirPods lose connection with the phone.
In some instances my phone freezes.
Will be looking to take them back.

    Unbelievably great

I got AirPods before Christmas (lucky me!!!) and I have been using them daily ever since. After having used other wireless headsets AirPods are the real thing. They are so light that you don't even remeber that hyou have them. The sound quality is fantastic and the best of all is that you never run out of battery because the little plastic container rescharges AirPods. To be honest, I have never been so happy with any other headsets. Every time I take them out from the beautiful white container I smile. Thank you Apple to give us at last a true wireless listening experience.

I want to like it, but it doesn't work for me.

I was impressed by the AirPods at launch, and after reading mainly positive reviews I bought one, and after 15 min I decided to return it.

Many people are happy with its sound quality. I didn't expect something awesome from such tiny earbuds but still I was a bit disappointed. However, the deal breaker is they keep falling off my ear when I try to jump or run (not even a dash, just at jogging pace). I'm not saying it won't fit anyone, because I watched YouTube clips where people shake heads like crazy wearing these, but it doesn't work for me.

Pretty good for listing to music, not great for wireless phone calls.

Not a bad product but still has some issues. First the good:

    - Pairing process is as seamless as advertised.
    - Sound quality is decent, or as good as wired earbuds anyway.
    - Fit seems ok to me and haven't had them fall out at all.

    Now the bad:

    - When using it as a phone (and not just listening to music) the connection often drops. (I have an iPhone 7). Contacted Apple Support and was told that I should turn off my Apple Watch when using the AirPods for phone functions. Apparently if you have multiple Bluetooth devices you can run into issues. I have experienced periodic static when listening to music too. Again, was told it's probably because I have an Apple Watch.
    - When using with my MacBook Pro I have similar issues, music is mostly fine but as a phone (Skype, FaceTime, etc.) I get static on the line. Again, seems to be a Bluetooth issue given I also have wireless keyboard and mouse (and external monitor).
    - Battery life can be better. I get at best 90 minutes when using as a phone given the mic(s) are also on. Haven't tried testing the longevity when listening to music only.

All in all, not bad but I would avoid if you plan to use AirPods for phone and conference calling as I had hoped to do.

    Pretty good workout ear buds!

I've had the AirPods over a week now and have been ruggedly using them every day while working out. I went from the Powerbeats2 to the air pods and am convinced the sound quality is much better. I also don't have a mic cord whipping me in the neck, which is a bonus. They fit comfortably in the ear and feel much better than their wired cousin (ear pods).

If there are any drawbacks to the AirPods, it would be the Siri integration. For now, the Siri interaction is a bit on the slow side, but definitely not a deal breaker for me. While working out, I usually just start a playlist, as opposed to shuffling through songs, I don't want to listen to. One trick I learned was to also set the volume at a percentage level, as opposed to each time telling Siri to turn up/down the volume.

I am hopeful, that at some point, the AirPods will be included in with a new iPhone purchase! It would definitely make an upgrade, that much more attractive.

    Really great!

I have had my air pods for a couple of weeks now. I am thrilled with them and they have been well worth the wait. The pairing is simple, the charging is brilliant and they are very comfortable. I use them to listen to music whilst dog walking and was nervous about them falling out so I bought a purpose-made lanyard from amazon for under £10 which is perfect, although I have to remove it when the pods go back in the case. If I am wearing my hat on cold days I don't use the lanyard as the hat holds them in place. The sound quality is good and receiving calls whilst walking is a doddle; the callers say they can't tell I am hands free. Overall they are a terrific addition to the i-phone and highly recommended.

Great Earbuds... If Your Ear Conforms to Apple's Standards

Pairing was a breeze and the sound is better than expected. Unfortunately, the Airpods do not fit snugly in my ears and fall out. The Airpod in my left ear falls out with just minor motions of my head and the right Airpod falls out with more aggressive head movements (for example if I run).

Unfortunately, not being able to keep the Left Airpod in for any length of time prevents me from using this product. I am actively looking for a 3rd party solution to help with this, but I haven't found one yet that retains the full functionality of the Airpods.

    Best Wireless Earphones

Simple to set up just like advertised. Great fit and don't fall out at all. Seriously. If the earpods fit then these WILL. Don't look into other more expensive options. These are the right earphones for you. They go great with my iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch too.

I needed some new headphones as my wired Apple ones broke, so felt I should take the plunge to pick these up. The sound quality is amazing and they fit in my ears perfectly. Currently to skip a song or to adjust the volume you have to double tap and speak to Siri, however if you are not connected to Wifi or don't have a signal this isn't possible. You can adjust the double tap settings for the headphones to either activate Siri or Play/Pause your music. There are a few improvements I feel could be made with a simple software update, to skip a song a triple tap to either headphone could be programmed in and to adjust the volume a single tap on the left headphone could turn the music up and a single tap on the right headphone could turn the music down. Overall they are great piece of technology and definitely a move in to the future (no more wires).

Doesn't work well with iPhone6 (dropped connections often)

After long term waiting to get those little thing, i was so excited to use these at gym while work out.

Currently i have iPhone6, it does seem a bit slow to pair them every time.

Worst flaw is that it dropped connections so i couldn't even listen one song while i am walking on street.

even i placed my phone in my hand and walked, still dropped connections and i saw no point i am using this as bluetooth earphone

    Light and airy

These AirPods are light and comfortable in the ear. Usually I have worn Bose earphones which are more comfortable than the standard Apple corded ones; my worry was 'would the AirPods fall out and not fit well'. No need to worry, they're comfortable, secure and have great sound. I recommend.

God bless, Aloha Bobby

Incredible sound for bluetooth and seamless connectivity!

Wow, I am very impressed by these AirPods!

    1. Sound was much better than expected. The sound is of higher quality than the original wired EarPods the iPhone comes with. They are also much better than all of the other bluetooth earphones I have tried. I quit trying to use bluetooth earphones/ headphones because they reduce the sound quality, but I was blown away by the sound these AirPods produced.

    2. Seamless connectivity. I have 4 Apple products and with other bluetooth devices, it was a pain trying to switch bluetooth sound between my devices. I would have to re-pair and un-pair every time I used a different device. These AirPods have fixed this problem! I don't want to be misleading however. They do NOT pair to the correct device automatically. I still do have to go into bluetooth settings to select the AirPods every time I want to stream music through a different device, but I only need to click it once. With other bluetooth devices, I must un-pair on my old device first, then find and re-pair the bluetooth on the other device. There are other bluetooth devices that pair with 2 devices at the same time, but if you have any more than 2 devices, it is a pain.

Along with this bullet point, it is amazing having the music turn on automatically when I put in the other AirPod if I was only using one initially. Then, when I need to talk with someone, the music turns off automatically when I take one of the AirPods out of my ears. It also turns the music back on after I put the AirPod back into my ear.

Connectivity range is really good. Generally with bluetooth earphones/headphones I can't go much further than past one room without losing connection. With these, I still have connectivity approximately 2 rooms down.

    3. Battery life is amazing. I can go 2-4 days without charging. I work in a lab and I typically use one AirPod at a time for 12 hours straight and when I'm on break, I use two at a time.

    4. I can hear my surroundings if I need to (could be a pro or a con). This is a pro for me because I typically use my AirPods while working in lab where it can be dangerous if I cannot hear my surroundings at all times. This is also great for runners as it is a good idea to exposed to surrounding noise to avoid getting hit by a car or getting mugged. Generally, if I want to tune out the outside noise, I just turn up the volume of the music and it works to muffle out the outside noise pretty well.

    5. The design and engineering of the whole package. The charging case is designed to an absolute T. It contains a hinge mechanism in which it will open all the way with the slightest opening of the lid. Strong magnets are used to keep the lid closed which allows for quick access to the AirPods. Magnets are also used to snap in the AirPods into their respective spot in the case for easy and fast storage.

The AirPods stay in my ears for the most part. I have done ballet, modern, and tap with these AirPods on and they do not typically fall out. It's only when I spin quickly that they pop out. I know this is untrue for different people with different ear shapes. If the wired EarPods that come with the iPhone fit your ears, then these ones will fit slightly better. That is all I can say with my point of view.
