    through the wash

I don't usually give 5 stars for anything however for the current times these are simple, good sounding reliable wireless headphones. Siri works well and the quality of voice when talking to another iPhone is exceptional. They don't seem to come out of my ears like the wired phones do. I ride to work and they sit tight. I recently accidentally put them through my work clothes wash cycle: 2.5hrs of 60 degree C with a prewash - dried them out and they are working. I was quite relieved although happy enough to go out and get another pair. They are a big step up from wired headphones. I've only had them 6 weeks and not tried any others but would so far highly recommend them.

They will exceed your highest expectations.

I can not express how well these headphones work. You simply take them out of the case, put them in your ears, and hit play!! The battery life is wonderful and the sound quality is extremely nice. Easily the best headphones i've purchased and they are more than worthy of the higher price point they come with.

I love Apple. I own A Macbook Pro, Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad and the list goes on. The ONE product I swore I would never buy were the AirPods. Why spend that much money on earphones that do not have Bose quality sound? I bought them for my fiance who fell in love with them. I tried hers, and wouldn't you know, I fell for them too.

They are the most durable and flawless product to come out from the new Apple lineup. They stay charged for multiple days, can survive multiple drops and they sound fantastic! The phone calls are crystal clear and they work beautifully. They never fall out of my ears, even during vigorous workouts. Their functionality is impeccable. The way they work with the iPhone and Watch is seamless.

I cannot say enough about them. If, like me, you were on the fence - jump over and enjoy. Message to Apple; for your next life-changing product make sure you put the AirPod team in charge of finalizing the end result!

Almost as if they weren't even worth it...

I was pretty excited to get and use these for running after hearing so many good things about them when people worked out... I don't if my ear holes are bigger or something but they were WORTHLESS when trying to workout, they would constantly get loose or slip out of my ear. Sweat wasn't even a factor! It even burns me up more when I go on the apple site and see PICTURES of people RUNNING with this on... Sure their great for talking on the phone, listening to music and all that stuff. The case it comes in is nice, the sound quality is great. BUT I bought it for a main purpose and it failed.

    Amazing design

If I was to list all the things I love about AirPods I would take forever to write this review. Why didn’t I buy them sooner?

Fit nicely inside hearing protectors too

Airpods do fit nicely inside my (Pelton) hearing protectors, so I can protect my hearing while I use woodworking machinery and still enjoy music. That's in addition to all their other plusses: great sound, they're comfortable and don't fall out, and are easy to switch between devices and other bluetooth accessories. Pleased that I chose these instead of other very good alternatives.

    Awesome in so many ways

First off, evident by their size and weight, you aren't going to get killer bass out of these. But the sound is remarkable nonetheless. For my 1+ hour bike commute, they rule. I can still hear traffic, and the music (unless loud traffic) and a tad of wind noise. They stay in my ears, connect automatically in a flash, stay charged the whole time. Now I can tap one ear to advance the track, tap the other to pause (like when I meet another cyclist). I have a great remote control (an iPhone 7) that allows me to control and play music, podcasts, use Siri (although I can configure the airpods to query Siri by simply tapping the pod, but traveling rapidly by bike there's too much wind noise). These are much more discreet than wearing something over my head or connected via cable to a device. And very little sound leakage, so I can crank tunes in bed while my wife is reading or nodding off. They are comfortable and stay put in my ears (unlike wired pods, which swing around). I have managed to keep up with them for over 6 months, once had to use "Find My Airpods" to locate them in my house, which worked great. For voice calls I just tap to answer, sound is clear as a bell, both directions, and when the call ends, the music fades back in! The charger case is great with the magnets and rapid charging/longevity. Love these things!

    These things are awesome!

I bought these about 6 months ago and they’re still great! The double tap feature works really well once you get used to where and how hard to tap. You can change the settings on each airpod by going into Bluetooth > Airpods > select what function you would like. I have my right headphone to skip to the next song and the left to go to the previous track. They sound great, volume-wise. You shouldn’t expect a deep bass from these but personally, I’m fine with that. I don’t listen to rap so i don’t care for a deep bass. You can also listen to one airpod at a time. Just make sure you have the airpod you aren’t using inside of the charging case or else your device will try to connect to both at the same time. If you decide you want to listen to both, simply take out the airpod from inside the case and place it in your ear and your phone should connect to it by itself. Oh yeah, connecting the airpods to the device when you’re going to use them is so easy! Just open the case and have it right next to you phone, wait about 3 or 4 seconds and they should connect automatically. The only reason i didn’t give them a 5 star rsting is because i would love to control the volume with the airpods. It’s not a big issue because I usually never have to change the volume, however, when I do want to, I have to do it on my phone(don’t like using Siri). When you’re using both airpods and take one out, the feature to pause the song is really dope, too! Simply put the airpod back in and the music will automatically resume. If you have doubts, like I did, try them out! You can always return them. I liked them way too much to return them, though haha.

    Reasonably good

The sound quality is good and the battery life is great.
They drop connection often and switching devices is always slow and painful.

    Really Great

These AirPods are awesome. I was a bit skeptical since the EarPods don't stay in my ears too well. I recently received the AirPods as a gift. Wow - they fit and stay in my ears much better than the EarPods. Pairs effortlessly with my iPhone and iPad. And the sound is very impressive. Another great Apple product.

Why Didn't I Get Them Sooner?!

Apple has this special way of making their technology feel like *Magic*. I'll be honest, the number one reason why I didn't get these AirPods sooner was because I find them to look odd with the tooth brush look. Though, once you put them on and feel the true wireless freedom, it doesn't matter what people think of you. I've notice that more and more people are starting to accept them compare to when they first launch. I still didn't give this product a 5 star rating because of the lack of volume control acceptability on the AirPods them self, while the sound quality could be just a hair better compare to the apples wired earpods, which honestly sound the same. Though it's the convenience on how quickly the AirPods can connect to your iphone while how very light they are for the ears is what makes them feel magic.

    Wow, so convenient

I cant get over how easy and convenient these little things are! Take them out of the case and they automatically connect to my phone and able to use right away. Running low on power, that's ok, just put them back in the case and they charge really quickly! So easy to use and good to take calls on. Well worth the money and would recommend to anyone! 100%

I used to have the wired EarPods, and not only did I have to carry my phone wherever I went, but sometimes the wire got in the way of basic tasks. Now I can leave my phone and walk around the entire room doing my housework or other tasks while listening to music without a hassle. When Calls or Texts come in, I get Siri to announce the call or read the text to me. And the sound...as superior as the wired sets, crystal clear, with amazing bass, treble and everything else in between. Even voice call quality is as clear as using the wired headphones or the phone itself. Comfort is also good, light enough to not be irritating, but also know they are there. Furthermore they have never fallen off my ears when running, exercising or doing any other activity. Love them!

    So far so good

I was skeptical at first because the EarPods never really stayed in my ears. The AirPods are great. I’ve used them frequently. Surprisingly they stayed in my ears during my intense workouts. They’re great even during phone calls. Syncs easy and hands off well with the iPhone and Apple Watch. Love them

    Completely awesome wireless earbuds

I've had these since they were launched and they are worth every cent.

Pairing: it's magically easy - harnessing iCloud to automatically pair to all of your devices after you've paired to the 1st one is a masterstroke by Apple. I have run into a few minor connection issues, but they are trivial to fix by either switching Bluetooth off for a moment and then back on (on your device), or by returning the AirPods to their case, and then taking them back out for use. At worst, a device reboot fixes things nicely.

Use: Audio is clear and crisp with volume controlled either by your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch in a snap. You can also ask Siri to make it louder or quieter and she does it. Taking one AirPod out to talk to a person automatically pauses the audio and putting it back in resumes playback. Genius.

Beamforming Mics: The microphones work incredibly well and being able to double tap on an AirPod to invoke Siri or to Play/Pause the audio is great. The newer versions of iOS allow you to choose a different double tap function for each AirPod independently.

Battery life: It's brilliant and under normal use - i.e. 45 minute train ride, constantly listening to music then making phone calls and using Siri to dictate text messages. I have not yet run them flat thanks to the fact that they recharge themselves whenever they are placed back in the case, which you can then recharge when you get to your home/office etc and just plug in for a while to top the case up. Charging is fast and easy.

The future: If Apple somehow manages to work out a way to make these noise cancelling, well now, that would be a feat of magic. Then they would need to retitle this product as MagicAirPods.

    Excellent product

Exceptional sound quality, superb battery life. The charging case is very handy. The AirPods pair effortlessly to your Apple devices, but they also pair nearly as well with non-Apple devices via Bluetooth. I thought they might feel a bit insecure in my ears - but that wasn't the case. They fit my ears quite well, and they don't use that ridiculous "rubber plug" concept that other ear phone products appear to default to. The $160 price is a tough nut, but I can assure you that the quality and performance does make up for it. I've tried many different high end brands, and these are superior in every way.

I do wish they would have included just one button to active Siri. They come with the charging case, the pods themselves, and a USB cable. Hey Apple... would it have killed you to simply throw in the cheap "cube" style charger? You will have to go find your own charger to plug that USB cable into; Apple left this $3 accessory out of the package, unlike their many other products.
