    Pretty good workout ear buds!

I've had the AirPods over a week now and have been ruggedly using them every day while working out. I went from the Powerbeats2 to the air pods and am convinced the sound quality is much better. I also don't have a mic cord whipping me in the neck, which is a bonus. They fit comfortably in the ear and feel much better than their wired cousin (ear pods).

If there are any drawbacks to the AirPods, it would be the Siri integration. For now, the Siri interaction is a bit on the slow side, but definitely not a deal breaker for me. While working out, I usually just start a playlist, as opposed to shuffling through songs, I don't want to listen to. One trick I learned was to also set the volume at a percentage level, as opposed to each time telling Siri to turn up/down the volume.

I am hopeful, that at some point, the AirPods will be included in with a new iPhone purchase! It would definitely make an upgrade, that much more attractive.

    Really great!

I have had my air pods for a couple of weeks now. I am thrilled with them and they have been well worth the wait. The pairing is simple, the charging is brilliant and they are very comfortable. I use them to listen to music whilst dog walking and was nervous about them falling out so I bought a purpose-made lanyard from amazon for under £10 which is perfect, although I have to remove it when the pods go back in the case. If I am wearing my hat on cold days I don't use the lanyard as the hat holds them in place. The sound quality is good and receiving calls whilst walking is a doddle; the callers say they can't tell I am hands free. Overall they are a terrific addition to the i-phone and highly recommended.

Great Earbuds... If Your Ear Conforms to Apple's Standards

Pairing was a breeze and the sound is better than expected. Unfortunately, the Airpods do not fit snugly in my ears and fall out. The Airpod in my left ear falls out with just minor motions of my head and the right Airpod falls out with more aggressive head movements (for example if I run).

Unfortunately, not being able to keep the Left Airpod in for any length of time prevents me from using this product. I am actively looking for a 3rd party solution to help with this, but I haven't found one yet that retains the full functionality of the Airpods.

    Best Wireless Earphones

Simple to set up just like advertised. Great fit and don't fall out at all. Seriously. If the earpods fit then these WILL. Don't look into other more expensive options. These are the right earphones for you. They go great with my iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch too.

GREAT QUALITY WITH A FEW TWEAKS NEEDED

I needed some new headphones as my wired Apple ones broke, so felt I should take the plunge to pick these up. The sound quality is amazing and they fit in my ears perfectly. Currently to skip a song or to adjust the volume you have to double tap and speak to Siri, however if you are not connected to Wifi or don't have a signal this isn't possible. You can adjust the double tap settings for the headphones to either activate Siri or Play/Pause your music. There are a few improvements I feel could be made with a simple software update, to skip a song a triple tap to either headphone could be programmed in and to adjust the volume a single tap on the left headphone could turn the music up and a single tap on the right headphone could turn the music down. Overall they are great piece of technology and definitely a move in to the future (no more wires).

Doesn't work well with iPhone6 (dropped connections often)

After long term waiting to get those little thing, i was so excited to use these at gym while work out.

Currently i have iPhone6, it does seem a bit slow to pair them every time.

Worst flaw is that it dropped connections so i couldn't even listen one song while i am walking on street.

even i placed my phone in my hand and walked, still dropped connections and i saw no point i am using this as bluetooth earphone

    Light and airy

These AirPods are light and comfortable in the ear. Usually I have worn Bose earphones which are more comfortable than the standard Apple corded ones; my worry was 'would the AirPods fall out and not fit well'. No need to worry, they're comfortable, secure and have great sound. I recommend.

Incredible sound for bluetooth and seamless connectivity!

Wow, I am very impressed by these AirPods!

    1. Sound was much better than expected. The sound is of higher quality than the original wired EarPods the iPhone comes with. They are also much better than all of the other bluetooth earphones I have tried. I quit trying to use bluetooth earphones/ headphones because they reduce the sound quality, but I was blown away by the sound these AirPods produced.

    2. Seamless connectivity. I have 4 Apple products and with other bluetooth devices, it was a pain trying to switch bluetooth sound between my devices. I would have to re-pair and un-pair every time I used a different device. These AirPods have fixed this problem! I don't want to be misleading however. They do NOT pair to the correct device automatically. I still do have to go into bluetooth settings to select the AirPods every time I want to stream music through a different device, but I only need to click it once. With other bluetooth devices, I must un-pair on my old device first, then find and re-pair the bluetooth on the other device. There are other bluetooth devices that pair with 2 devices at the same time, but if you have any more than 2 devices, it is a pain.

Along with this bullet point, it is amazing having the music turn on automatically when I put in the other AirPod if I was only using one initially. Then, when I need to talk with someone, the music turns off automatically when I take one of the AirPods out of my ears. It also turns the music back on after I put the AirPod back into my ear.

Connectivity range is really good. Generally with bluetooth earphones/headphones I can't go much further than past one room without losing connection. With these, I still have connectivity approximately 2 rooms down.

    3. Battery life is amazing. I can go 2-4 days without charging. I work in a lab and I typically use one AirPod at a time for 12 hours straight and when I'm on break, I use two at a time.

    4. I can hear my surroundings if I need to (could be a pro or a con). This is a pro for me because I typically use my AirPods while working in lab where it can be dangerous if I cannot hear my surroundings at all times. This is also great for runners as it is a good idea to exposed to surrounding noise to avoid getting hit by a car or getting mugged. Generally, if I want to tune out the outside noise, I just turn up the volume of the music and it works to muffle out the outside noise pretty well.

    5. The design and engineering of the whole package. The charging case is designed to an absolute T. It contains a hinge mechanism in which it will open all the way with the slightest opening of the lid. Strong magnets are used to keep the lid closed which allows for quick access to the AirPods. Magnets are also used to snap in the AirPods into their respective spot in the case for easy and fast storage.

The AirPods stay in my ears for the most part. I have done ballet, modern, and tap with these AirPods on and they do not typically fall out. It's only when I spin quickly that they pop out. I know this is untrue for different people with different ear shapes. If the wired EarPods that come with the iPhone fit your ears, then these ones will fit slightly better. That is all I can say with my point of view.

    Amazing!

I have a sort of headphone addiction. My wife has started threatening me if I come home with another pair. I have the PowerBeats with the w1 chip which are great for working out, I have B&W P7's bluetooth, B&W C5 v.2, sure's, sennhiesser's,. Sony's both over hear in ear wired and wireless... lets just say I have some headphones...

The AirPods are bar none my absolute favorites. They are not the best sounding but it doesn't matter. They work so amazingly well, with the pairing, and the pausing when you take one out, and the charging ease in the case, and the fact that while they don't say they are water proof I know they are from experience (lets just say it involved a 2 year old and a toilet.) and that I can fall asleep with them in and I don't die of asphyxiation makes them the best headphones I own.

    Seriously.

    Go order a pair.

Amazing UI and execution, average sound, unbearable fit.

The pairing and useability with the W1 chip features and integration with IOS was the strongest feature. The sound was OK but substantially rolled off at the frequency extremes. The absence of noise attenuation was most noticeable in having to increase the volume to around 8/10 to have a good listening experience in a car or in other situations with a high ambient noise level. Unfortunately, after an hour of listening, I developed significant left tempero-madibular joint pain and tension in the left masseter muscle. I could not tolerate this and returned the Airpods. My experience with the Apple store was excellent and they were accepted for refund graciously. Apple please figure out the ergonomic issues with your design. Better seal and smaller size port.

    A really good product!

I'm enjoying them a lot; and I ecomand them 100%!
I just hope that in some future updates other functionalities, as the possibility to change volume without Siri will be added.
I also think that would be useful to make more clear where the settings of the AirPod are, maybe a section under the volume icon.

You won't regret buying the AirPods! Truly Amazing!

To start off with when they were released with the Powerbeats 3. I didn't know which to get. I spent lots of hours researching them and watching videos on them, before they were released. I had my eye set on the Powerbeats, but then I just figured, that I'd want truly wireless earphones, absolutely nothing getting in my way while working out.
I bought these from my local Apple Store, and straight away started to use them with my Apple Watch and iPhone. They were amazing. Absolutely incredible. Connectivity is truly amazing, sound is brilliant, they stay in my ears perfectly. I started having issues, my phone would be connected to the AirPods and I wasn't able to connect them to my Apple Watch and vice versa. I used Apple's chat support, and got that all fixed. Now they're working perfectly. The battery on the AirPods lasts the full 5 hours, I use them on 50% - 75% volume, after 2 hours, the battery will still be around 60%.
Using 1 AirPod at a time is so convenient, can't do that with any of the other Beats.
If you're on the fence between AirPods and Powerbeats for the W1 chip. Go with the AirPods!!!

NOT NEARLY AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED...

THEY ARE SMALL, LIGHT, COMFORTABLE, AND EASY TO USE. THEY SOUND GREAT TO LISTEN TO MUSIC.

HOWEVER, IF YOU DON'T IMMEDIATELY START DICTATING, AFTER THE CONNECTION, THEY CUTT YOU OFF. ALSO, IN NOISY ENVIRONMENTS, DICTATION OF MESSAGES IS VERY BADLY DONE. ALSO, THE NOISE SUPPRESSION FOR NOISY ENVIRONMENTS WORKS VERY POORLY. CALLERS ON MY OLD PLANTRONICS COULD HEAR ME MUCH BETTER WHEN IN NOISY ENVIRONMENTS.

I GAVE THEM TO SOMEONE I KNOW WHO USES THEM TO LISTEN TO MUSIC. FOR THAT PURPOSE, THEY ARE GREAT. FOR MY PURPOSES, THEY ARE CLEARLY SUBSTANDARD.

PERHAPS WITH SOFTWARE UPGRADES, THESE DEFICENCIES CAN BE CORRECTED. FOR NOW, NOT SO MUCH.

Amazing product but could use some huge improvements.

I really enjoy using these headphones as my everyday headphones, but there are some problems with them. I miss having the controls to be able to play/pause change songs and adjust the volume, and nobody is going to want to talk to themselves in public to siri to do all of that stuff. Instead, those touch controls should be used like the original control touch cables that the original earpods have where the tap feature of the airpods is used to play/pause and change songs, and sliding your finger up and down can change the volume by one interval. If the airpods had these features, then they would have way more positive reviews and more purpose. Maybe the siri feature can still be there, but with a short holding motion instead. There should also be a second noise cancelling version that might cost more, but cancels out the noise you hear because when i'm on the train, I can still hear it quite loudly unlike earphones like the beats tours. Even thought the sound quality is already great, it could always use even more improvements. Battery wise, for your next generation of airpods, try aiming for 8 hours of battery life for the airpods, and at least 40 hours for the case. You were successful at it with the Beats solo wireless 3's, you can do the same for the airpods. The bluetooth and ear detection scanner should also get some improvements as the bluetooth occasionally cuts out which can be annoying, but is not friendly for old devices like the iPhone 5s, and sometimes when I remove my airpods to pause, and put it back in to play, it doesn't work, but sometimes it does. Overall, good product, but could use huge improvements.

    Skeptical at first. Great product!

Fears about AirPods. Comfort. Fit. Falling Out. Sound Quality. I am happy to say that these wireless earbuds are great! They fit comfortably and easy to adjust in your ear to where you want them (subject to change based on the person). Apple guarantees a 14 day return policy (no restock fee) if they do not fit or meet your standard. I've gone running with these and they do not fall out or move much at all. They are very comfortable for use around the house. You may even find yourself forgetting that they are there!

This product is not perfect though. Sound quality could be better (I have a pair of Bose and they are fantastic.. fit snug and offer better base and clarity). The functionality could be improved with some way to adjust volume/skip without having your phone handy or using Siri.

I definitely recommend this product. The price is a little high in my opinion but based on performance and function, you will not be disappointed.

    Worth the price!

These headphones bring an all new level of convenience, they are So easy to use & Look gorgeous too. The volume is the only area that could be slightly better, having said that though, the audio quality is still very high and on par with most other bluetooth headphones, but not quite up to The volume of some other high end wired headphones (understandably so). I would highly recommend buying these.

    1st Generation AirPods Beyond expectations

I had these AirPods for 2 months already I love them. For being the first generation AirPods I love the sound and fit in my ear as it doesn't pop out of my ears when I'm walking or running. The syncing is so quick I love it. When I'm taking a call I can hear loud and clearly and the person I'm talking to can hear just fine. The Battery is great since it would be based on the volume level your on I normally have at 50%!or 40% I get over 5 hours of what apple I have said. I'm also impressed how loud the AirPods can get and after receiving the first AirPod update recenly I notice that the sound on my AirPods sounds more louder than before and clearer. I can't wait for the Second Generation AirPods.
