Tough Enough to Survive A Full Clothes Wash Cycle

Purchased my set of AirPods (my first set of wireless ear buds ever) to go along with a new X. After a week's worth of use they had survived, outside of the charging case, a full cycle inside a front loading clothes washing machine unharmed. Great sound. No issue with intermittent disconnections even when more than 30ft away from the phone. Quality product.

Don't waste your money because you will waste your time

I've had air pods for 3-4 months now. They're cool and have many features that other headphones have not had (such as pausing music when you take one out, or skipping a song if I tap my right headphone twice) Sweet. The amount of time I have spent trying to pair these headphones with my different Apple devices is despicable. I just spent 15 minutes trying to pair the headphones with my laptop and gave up, yesterday it took me half an hour. I have never had this much difficulty pairing bluetooth headphones.

    Unbelievable - 100% recommend. Perfect!!!

Been doing some research with regards to sporty wireless headphones for a few weeks. So impressed with the AirPods. Unbelievable sound quality. No problem with volume. Only criticism is that whilst running they may fall off - solution just buy some plastic silicone tips off Amazon for a few quid. Work a treat. Perfect!

I’ve been using earbuds religiously since middle school, and I’m happy to say that after using these suckers, I’m never going back. These are so comfortable, easy to track (not to mention track-able), easier to store, charge rediculiusly fast and stay charged for days!! I can’t recomend them enough. 10/10 makes the lack of an audio jack on the new phones forgiveable.

    Almost perfect...

At the store, they met my standards: good, immersive sound (and I listen to trance/techno), surprisingly comfortable and light, innovative idea with a recharging case they come in. The fit could be even better though: if they had kind of a silicone fitting or “fin” piece that goes into the ear, it would fit a better range of users.

I took them on a test run and they began to slip and fall out. The fact that they still slip out rather easily with exercise is my only gripe. Nice work, Apple.

Small Package, Super convenient, and Great Quality

I don't care for writing reviews, but I thought I'd take the time to say how much I love these. Whole thing fits in that third front pocket of my jeans. Great for phone calls, and great for tunes!

    Great but only with iPhone

Everything is great when you use AirPods with your iPhone. It's convenient, sound is also cool, you don't need to charge headphones very often. But if you'd like to connect with Macbook, it won't be as good as you expect. AirPods are constantly disconnecting especially when you have a call via Skype or other messenger. Sometimes just one headphone works when you're listening to Apple Music. So annoying because usually I use AirPods at work and I would not to have any issues with the connection between them and my laptop. Please fix it as soon as possible!

    Better than expected

I got a pair from my wife for Christmas. Was thinking of taking them back because they seemed kind of expensive (we share the same bank account, LOL). Are use them all the time, they’re really great! The sound quality is excellent and the connectivity as well.

You need iPhone 7 up to use fully

The product itself works very well for me but I have problems trying to switch the connection from my iPhone to my Mac. I took it to an Apple Store and they said you don't get the w1 chip or something like that with the iPhone 6 so whenever I want to switch from my phone to a Mac I have to put the airpods in the case unpairing it from the iPhone and have to repair with the Mac. I mainly bought it cuz they said it'd be a seamless integration.

    Just superb!

I have been using Apple products for over ten years and this latest creation is just excellent, no wires getting caught anymore, they are great, fantastic sound, they re-charge really quickly and are so easy to use, a great addition to the Apple family!

    Pretty good!

These are pretty great and i love almost everything about them. Except the double tap functionality pretty much never works. And i am a pretty tach savvy apple guy. Also Siri needs a lot of improvements especially when that’s the only way to change the volume.

    They're cool, but need improvements

I love the convenience of the charging case, and, of course, the fact that they're wireless. However, they are not noise-cancelling at all. My coworkers talk all day long, and music in my ears is my only relief. With the volume cranked all the way up, I can still hear their yapping with the AirPods in my ears. Had to switch back to my cheap corded pair, which are also soft and go all the way in my ear, unlike the AirPods, which do not go all the way in, and the hard plastic hurts my ears, as Apple ear pods have always done. I'll use the AirPods when I work out, but that's about it. When I listen to music, I don't want to hear every noise around me. Step it up, Apple. These things aren't cheap.

    Best Headphones Ever

Was a little skeptical at first, but recently got rid of my BeatsX for AirPods and could not be happier! Sound quality is incredible, automatic pausing is convenient and they stay in!

I tried to disconnect Bluetooth for both Apple Watch and iphone x but no responce in AirPod, it shows it connected but no sound

Not Great For Those With Small Ears

These aren't the best earphones if you have smaller ears (ear holes), they feel a bit loose in my ears and have fallen out a few times while exercising. While running I am having to push them in every minute or so to ensure they don't slip out. They are also quiet in comparison to my previous earphones (Beats Tour in ear), and am able to hear the music playing on the speakers at the gym every now and then while running and working out. I prefer absolutely no background noise while exercising but for those who don't mind this likely wouldn't be a huge deal. The touch-features and easy set up is great and I've had no connectivity issues. These would be great everyday earphones but not the best for those looking for exercise specific earbuds.

They have a good sound and they have no wires and when you got an iPhone it connects automatically. These are nearly perfect the only thing what I miss is that you can stop the music or make a different volume without talking to Siri.
    All in all really good.

I would like to give the AirPods a good review but there are too many complications in the software

The good is I think they sound pretty good, they are comfortable in my ear and don't feel like they will fall out like during work outs etc and they are easy to set up and work good across multiple devices.

But I have had several issues I don't think should have made it through testing before being released prime time and I'm pretty disappointed with Apple.

Issue one, calls initiated from the Apple Watch are often not routed back to the AirPods. They end up on my iPhone SE. So basically your calling people and they are talking to nobody. I have been told by the people receiving the call that their voice is being echoed back to them leaving them totally confused.

Issue two, the AirPods do not act as wired headphones when controlling volume on the iPhone. There seems to be two separate volume controls for system sounds and other audio like music or video. Normally these are set the same when plugged in with wired headphones. But with the AirPods system sounds like keyboard taping or alerts etc might be set very loud even though you set the volume for the music or video to low. Why Apple would not notice this is a huge problem at this point in the game is not acceptable.
