    Simply profoundly perfect!

One of my favorite Apple products of all time! Pure brilliance in design and performance. I could not stop looking at them and their case the first day I purchased. The wires from the past always drove me nuts. There was never a clever way to master that spaghetti mess of wire. Air Pods solved the problem. So easy. So compact.Up and running in seconds. Seamless and flawless connection and disconnecting. The case is a charged backup battery. Brilliant. It's like a little dental floss case. I can't believe I waited this long to purchase. And oh yeah.... BRILLIANT SOUND!

    Perfect for a College Student

I got my AirPods about a year ago and brought them with me to college. They work perfectly for me as a college student because they’re portable, discreet, and they sound awesome. The battery life is pretty good and the pairing is very quick and convenient, not to mention they’re small and they charge really easily. Having them charge on the same cable as my iPhone does is really handy, and the touch controls are really convenient. I remapped the touch controls for my AirPods to skip with a tap to the right and activate Siri with a tap to the left. Having this customizability is really nice. Overall, I’d definitely recommend these to any college student or anyone else looking for some portable Bluetooth headphones.

    Phenomenal Product

I cannot wait to see how Apple improves upon these already amazing headphones. I would have to admit that I was skeptical at first, but was blown away with the high speed connectivity. They connect to my Apple products far better than even some of the best headphones on the market like Bose. And the sound quality is simply superb. Like I said, I cannot wait for Apple to improve upon these gems.

utter waste of money, the pause function works on a "when it can be bothered" basis when you take one of them out and when it does work good luck getting the music started again without going back to your device to either press play or reconnect the airpods themselves! I wouldn't mind but the range should be better than from my wrist to my ears!!!!!!!!!!! also since I got these £159 beauties when people call my iPhone I cant hear them even when nothing is connected to them.

These are outstanding, looks are fine.

I'm going to argue with the many people who say the AirPods look dumb. Hold them up next to a wired EarPod. The stem that hangs out of the ear is about 3/16" longer and maybe 1/16" wider than the EarPod stem. Do you really think that's going to make a visual difference? And there's no wire dangling out of them, so the appearance is cleaner in that regard. People are used to the EarPod, and the AirPod just doesn't look very different. Also, cats don't think of them as a potential cat toy.

The sound is excellent, not quite what I get from Sony studio monitor headphones, but balanced and open, with each instrument distinct, not blurry or distorted. But the sheer wireless convenience and ease of the user interface is the big attraction. Long battery life is another good point. When these get down to 10%, you still have a lot of listening time left. I have no trouble with connecting. I'm not on the phone a lot, but they seem to work fine for answering calls. Just get out your credit card, grit your teeth, and buy a pair. The coolness of pausing the playback just by pulling one out of your ear can't be understood until somebody wants to talk to you and you can talk back without missing anything! There's a little wrinkle Beats never thought of! Here's another, open the case, and a window pops up on your iPhone with the charge status of the case and Pods.

And there's one more thing, the guys who say one of the earpieces won't work, have (probably) discovered a feature. If you start them up with one AirPod out of your ear, the other one will switch to mono sound and play. And they don't switch back just because you put the loose AirPod in your ear. I believe this is to assist people who can only hear with one ear. It hardly seems fair that they should have to buy both AirPods.

    Very good

Was very sceptical about these mainly due to cost but decided to buy them anyway, I have not been disappointed they are very very good. They sit in my ears very comfortably and I almost forget they are there, they are stupidly easy to set up and I’ve never had a problem with battery life. The only drawback is they look pretty stupid. I find I get strange looks but they seem to look better on people with longer hair. Other than that I highly recommend these!

Works flawlessly for my iPhone, but has problems with my Mac Book

On my iPhone it connects flawlessly and the sound quality is really good (nice warm bass and the tops is not over powering). But, when using on my Mac Book, the connection is really bad, the sound stutters.

I really want to give them a 5/5 rating, but as its meant to work between different devices, it just does not.

I am keeping them as I mainly use them on my iPhone and really happy with them. But, Apple you need to sort this out.

    A Must-Have Accessory

They sound great, work seamlessly with apple watch and phone, and stay surprisingly secure in your ears. Furthermore, if you do your homework you will discover that the $159 price is less than other similar (or lower) quality products. I'm not a tech kind of guy, nor do I have any conflicts of interest in writing this review. Very pleased with this purchase.

Exactly what I've been waiting for

I noticed that every time my headphones would fall out would be because the cord got yanked on. These obviously solve that problem. I've had these for several months and use them daily. I've only had them run out of battery once. I highly recommend these.

I've always been an Apple person, but even so I judge their products fairly and with no bias. I've never really used the standard apple headphones, instead using Audio-Technica M50x for home and Powerbeats Wireless for out and about. I had put off buying these Airpods for a while. My mother is always outside working on the property and likes to listen to music. I have bought many headphones, all end up failing after weeks or they dont fit well, or the sound quality is just not there. So I bought these for her a few weeks ago. Straight out of the box, she was raving about them. No issues. Great quality sound and fit perfectly with no falling out issues. So I bought myself some. Best things ever. Work seamlessly with all my apple devices and freeing. Sound quality is pretty good, although not Audio-Technica qual, but enough to hold their own. Worth every cent. I was concerned the bluetooth would have latency issues with videos, but connected to my MacBook pro, they have no lag or delay what so ever. Well done Apple

    Wonderful and good sound

Very good sound from these tiny and compact AirPods. Love cordless design.
Not as good a dynamic sound as my Sennheiser hdr 195 wireless headphones

Sounds Good but Lacks Basic Functionality - Double Tap Rarely Works

These earphones sound nice. However, there is no way to adjust volume or use Hey Siri. You must always have your iPhone nearby which is almost like having a wired set of earphones! Plus the double-tap functionality rarely works. I also have to turn the volume to 50% or 60% to get acceptable sound quality. My Plantronics Voyager earpiece has better volume, buttons to adjust the volume, and a button to access voice control.

Not sure if I will keep using them. Kinda bummed out that they don't work like Apple says they should. Was expecting way more.

    Super Nice

I love these, especially for listening to podcasts and music around the house and while outside. One note of caution - these fit exactly like the wired stock earpods that come with your iPhone, so if your ear shape doesn't work with those, it won't work with these. If you, like me, have an ear shape that fits the wired earpods well, then these will fit great, with even less strain, since there's no cord to weigh down on your ears.

Battery life has been great, connection has been flawless. Switching to use them on an iPad or Mac is super easy and automatic. I've even got them paired with my Dell Windows 10 laptop at work (they use regular bluetooth) - although pairing to Windows is much trickier.

Changed my hobby and made my life way easier

Super easy to pair, more so with the in ear detection! Durable! Won't break even when you step on it! Long battery life! Around 5hour and 30mins! Earphone charges from 0-100 only takes 15-30 mins! Case 0-100 takes 1-2hours! When earphone in the case with the wire plugged in , it will charge the earphone first then the case itself! Finally I don't neeed to unplug and re-plug when I need to get out of my seat in front of my computer and head for the toilet! Basically you will feel like it is part of you and forgot it is on your ear!

    Almost 5 Stars..

First, let me start by saying I have had headphones as cheap as $5 and as expensive as $300. I’ll also add that while I love Apple products, I am open to the idea that other products may exist that eclipse Apple’s industry leading standard of quality and excellence. I was no doubt on the fence about dropping the $170 for these headphones, but have used them for all of 20 minutes and have no buyers remorse whatsoever. I should have bought them when they first launched like I intended! Only downside to these headphones is the double tap feature for Siri/volume control etc., but it’s really not that big a deal. They are still hands down the best pair of headphones I have owned, and it’s teally not even close. They’re pretty fly I’m not going to lie! Because of the absence of a physical volume rocker, I’ll give them 4.8!

LOVE my AirPods - Read this if you're having trouble keeping them connected

First, let me say that these are my favorite purchase from Apple. I wear them literally 18 hours a day. I gave a pair to my boyfriend and he says they are the best gift I have ever given him. If there is any question whether or not you need them, get them. I promise - they are life changing.

A problem I ran into the first six months, however, was that they wouldn't always stay connected. It was incredibly frustrating, but I loved them so much, I continued to put up with it. Over time, though, I eliminated the potential issues, and narrowed it down the the problem: my Apple Watch. It seems my first generation watch was interfering somehow with the Bluetooth connection needed for the AirPods to maintain connection. Putting the watch into airplane mode resolves it completely. Now when I am wearing them, I don't need the alerts on my watch because I can hear it through the AirPods. If I am not wearing the AirPods, then I turn off Airplane Mode and use the watch as normal.

Obviously it would've been helpful if Apple would have identified or acknowledged this problem, and even better if they can find a way to fix it, but at least I a have found a way to make them work in the meantime. Hope this helps someone!
