Great Start. Wait for Gen 2.

I wish these were designed to go into the ear canal for a better fit and seal (noise reduction/ better sound reproduction).

Good otherwise. I reach for them over my Bragi Dash and 3 other headphones when not traveling/ in a plane.

Wish the size was adjustable and had volume control. Other than that they are perfect! I wish Siri had an offline mode so I don't have to have wifi or cellular to turn the volume up or down!

    Simply Amazing

These sound great, have an outstanding battery life, and fit perfectly in my ears. I can run a half marathon and they never fall out or go dead. They work seamlessly with my iPhone 7. Only thing bad I can say about them is that they are slippery and I'm terrified I'm going to drop them when getting them out of the case.

    Love the Ear Pods

Love the way I can switch between devices, can use either one or both, connects every time, senses that they are in my ear, and double tap to pause, and the case that charges, all great features! Absolutely the best wireless ear pods I have used, and I have tried many over the years.

    Awesome device

This is beautiful device meant for the iphone, and nothing beats it at this point.

    Good but....

Pairing works as described and the use of iCloud to populate Pairing settings across all my related devices is a very good feature. Audio playback is excellent. Now the but piece, when using as a headset for voice calls the sound synchronisation is awful, the reliability of the Bluetooth connection is suspect and I must conclude that AirPods struggle as multi-media headset. A Genuis bar appointment was made to see what could be done.

Apple agreed to swap for a brand new set without any question, although lack of supply meant 4 weeks without the replacement pair. I was deeply disappointed to find exactly the same issues when using them as a headset for FaceTime Audio, Go To Meeting, WebEx and phone calls. Much to like, but much that does not work, so 1 star.

    Was Wary at First

I was reserving myself for disappointment when I bought these but now I have no buyers regret whatsoever. If you're happy with EarPods, then AirPods will suit you perfectly. The seamless connection with my other devices signed in on my AppleID is excellent. No problems with them at all.

    Poor quality

I love these however I dislike that the lid on the case creaks and wobbles. Very unApple and not worthy of the price tag of $229. Back to Apple they go for a refund!!

    Rare Product that Delivers; Solid

AirPods really were worth the wait and are a big step forward for AI and wireless. They never fallout, give good sound quality, work great, have incredible range, and are great for calls. The option to use one, switch from one to the other, share one, etc. is seamless (although could take a few seconds at times). Was so impressed I bought one for my wife after a couple of weeks.

    Pretty Dang Sweet!

I bought a pair of the latest Beats solo 3 and returned them because they felt way too tight on my ears and I couldn't keep them on long. I ordered these in place and I'm so glad I did, cause these AirPods are awesome! Sound is excellent, rich tones including bass. I think they might be better sounding than the beats, also way lighter and easier to use. I'm going to buy a pair for my daughter for her birthday in April.

OK, but feels like a beta product

Initially, I loved the idea of the AirPods because I hate the cord that usually connects bluetooth headphone together. Unfortunately, these have been far from "magical" for me.

    The Good:
Pairing with your iPhone is super easy. Open the case and hit connect. Sound quality is very good. Automatic ear detection works great and auto-pauses when you remove one earbud. Calls are very convenient with these. Charging case is very convenient.

The Bad: I still experience audio dropouts and loss of connection like any other bluetooth headphone (in some cases, more than my cheap $20 BT headphones). I have also had trouble pairing the AirPods to my Apple Watch. If I'm lucky enough to get the connection to work, it easily drops the connection 3-4 times during a 30 minute workout requiring me to restart the music and connect to the Airpods. Lastly, the double tap to access Siri works about 10% of the time for me. You have to tap VERY firmly in order to get it to work. Not a pleasant feeling with an earbud in your ear. The W1 chip seems to help with pairing, but very little with connection stability, which was one of the main things I was hoping for with these.

I've only had them for a couple of weeks now, but I'm not sure they are worth the money. If I'm unable to get the connection issues and double tap worked out, these are likely going to be returned.

The WORST wireless headphones i have ever used.

The Airpods Crackle, disconnect, go into a mono mode unexpectedly, and in general freak out when ever i use them on a regular basis. I have had them for a month and i feel that i have wasted my money. Worst Apple product i have ever purchased.

    Worth It

I love these head phones for one simple reason and that's how easy it is to enjoy my music, yes no more cords and it connects to your device quick and easy. And another thing I may add is it STAYS CONNECTED ! unlike any other blue tooth device out there. I also really love the range, I can pop these things on and walk all around my apartment while leaving my phone behind with ought any disconnect this is amazing when im doing work around the apartment or cooking in the kitchen. This also allows me to double tap the head phones and ask siri questions like convert ounces in to cups etc..

My only complaint is how long it took to get my hands on em, it took over a month and was very frustrating. But I can say they were worth the wait.

    Extraordinary sound + freedom!

Guys, until you get these you simply have not experienced the joy of music! Fantastic sound, truly wireless freedom without any loss of connection within the bluetooth radius and a perfect fit --that one was a real bonus as I have never found the correct size for me, IEMs included... They stay securely in place too --tested with moderate exercise and dancing.
I love the tiny, smart case that both protects and charges them, providing ample listening time to the most "demanding" ears. There is incredible, unique technology built-in in this minuscule set. Simply amazing.
Now, even boring household chores don't seem as daunting anymore... Hurray!

    Apple hardware usual standard.

If you are wondering wether these are worth the high price I can answer: yes.

I listen to a wide variety of music, from Beethoven to Beyoncé, and the AirPods are good for all of it. They cannot compare to high end Seinheissers of course, but then the seinheissers don't fit in my pocket. For everyday listening these are great - they can handle heavy bass when you're listening to dub, and they clearly pick up all the instruments when you are listening to classical ... though I'd recommend switching to the Classical option on the equaliser for the best sound.

Battery life has been good so far - it can drop fast when you're using them, but they charge quickly, and the charging case holds up well when left for a few days.
The fit is comfortable for me, and I've had no problems with the pods falling out.
It's ridiculously easy to pair the pods to an iPhone - though they will not pair to the old iPhone 4 I still use as an MP3 player. Oh well.

The controls are ok, not great. It's easier to haul your phone out of your pocket than to use Siri.

If you're considering these but are worried by the new tech and high price I'd say 'go for it'. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Oh, I've also used them for watching movies on my iPad and MBA. Easy to pair and good clean sound.

    Amazing Piece of Hardware

What can I say besides I love the AirPods. The AirPods are just as comfortable as their wired headphones but wireless. The charge last for about 5 hours and recharges in less than thirty minutes, depending how low the battery. I personally haven't had an issue with the earphones failing out unless I am lying down. My Bose wireless SoundSports were my go to headphones but now sit unused.
