    Worth the wait!

I waited until it was available at my local Apple Store without having to reserve it. I have had numerous Bluetooth earphones and it always had a lower quality sound and sometimes muffled sound. I assume it’s because it’s streaming through Bluetooth. But as soon as I tried the AirPods it was a clear quality! Unlike other Bluetooth earphones, I can leave my phone downstairs and walk upstairs with the music still playing clear, (I forgot I didn’t have the phone on me). Battery life also blows everything away. I have gone almost 4 1/2 days without charging. It’s amazing. At first I couldn’t justify the 159$ price. But after experiencing the simplicity of connecting and amazing quality I couldn’t stop using it. At this point I don’t want to spend a penny on something that isn’t made by Apple. It’s not just because it’s Apple, but also because everything just works together easily. Sounds like I’m reading an Apple slogan, I may as well have since it’s accurate based on experience.

    Right in the middle

I love the device, however, some faults or adjustments that need to be correct. It is difficult to switch between apple devices. You have to unplug and plug the device to an IMAC, IPAD or any other device. However, great charging life, and great sound.

    Top bit of kit!

Read many reviews before purchasing these but I was in a tight spot as the jack port on my iPhone 6+ stopped working 18 months ago and I’m waiting for the X to be available so these where the easiest way to take calls when traveling.

In my opinion they are perfect. The sound quality is good, The mic when using to talk on call works 100%, they connect to your phone by just opening the case Lid, so cool. The best bit for me is that when you remove one ear bud the music pauses so you can talk to someone next to you. Battery life is good.

    What I don’t like is:

    The stalk looks nerdy
Siri waste of time it is to slow!

    Great product

I'm very impressed by AirPods battery life. Connectivity is flawless.
I would like them to have an Apple logo on the case as a design flaw.
Sound is good, but when it comes to sound more is always better.

Zero noise isolation and poor voice calls!

AirPods are just hard plastic wireless earbuds that provide zero noise isolation. Simply adding a rubber or silicone flange would go a long way to make the product better. Because of the poor isolation you can hear all background noise/sounds, requiring you increase the volume to overcome. Very bad for your hearing! Voice calls are very poor as well, whoever your calling will hear all background sounds as the mic apparently has no cancellation capabilites.

    Amazing, Magical, Perfect

AirPods are one of my favorite Apple Products of all time. I really don’t understand all the negative reviews. Giving a product 1 star because you lost one?? Come on guys. Anyways, these are absolutely perfect and I recommend anyone to buy them. My boyfriend bought an iPhone after having android for years just so he could enjoy the magical AirPods. Thank you, Apple ❤️

    Great Headphones !!

I was a bit skeptical because these don't look like they'll stay in your ear all that well when your exercising but I was wrong. I just did a 12 exercise Tabata with lots of variety and these stayed in my ear better than my Beats ( Hands Down ). I would recommend these...

    Insanely great

These AirPods work exactly as advertised. They pair immediately with no effort, stay in
My ears, and the sound is ridiculously great.

    Buy them!

One size does not fit all

How does one size fit all?
How does a big guy have the same size ear canal as a petite person.
After an hour of wearing the Airpods my ears hurt.
Can I get my money back?

Need to be less expensive otherwise superb headphones.

AirPods are outclass and matchless headphones of their type. These are not merely a headphone that would wirelessly replace your old ones. These are rather a "lifestyle change". Only thing that's bad these aren't economical. Very expensive ones in the market. Apple should keep their price low at least after this much time after their release and selling millions of them.

    Why is it controversial?

Some people said it’s good the others said it is not. I bought two for my staff and they were not really sure if it is good enough when I asked them. I bought a pair for myself today. These are by far the best headsets I have ever dreamed for. I just don’t understand why someone not like them; comfy in your ears, solid built, easy connect, amazing sound quality, very reasonable range, and simple! Thanks Apple, this one is a good one.

    The iPhone of Headphones

I was extremely skeptical for a long time, but finally I wanted to see what all the fuss is about. After three weeks, I find myself loving AirPods more and more each day, and I feel compelled to write a review.

The AirPods are truly incredible, and one of Apple's greatest products ever, because:

    1) Their intelligence is so understated. The way it knows when an AirPod is in my ear. The touch gestures to skip a track. The way my phone knows when the case is open or I want to pair. They pair seamlessly & instantly between any of my Apple devices. It's actually easier to switch devices than it would be with a cord & jack.

    2) The lightweight, cordless design makes for an immersive experience. No wires or cables. It's so minimal, I forget I am wearing headphones. It's almost like they augment reality in a way other headphones can't. When I'm on a call, it's like the person is just there with me.

    3) The case is incomparable. It fits in the coin pocket of my jeans, it holds an incredible 24 hours of charge, it is simple and beautiful to use. And it charges the AirPods insanely fast.

    4) They actually sound pretty great! Using the 'Acoustic' EQ setting, I find myself enjoying any music I listen to. And people can hear me crystal clear on a phone call.

It's an exceptional experience using AirPods and I now dread using any other headphones, no matter how high quality. Well done Apple.

Now, just update them to allow for touch volume controls! ;)

    Syncing needs work

I use these with a MacBook, iMac and iPhone. Sometimes syncing either takes a long time or doesn't work at all when changing devices unless I unpair and re-pair.

It seems to have gotten worse with iOS 11 and High Sierra.

    These things are simply incredible!!!

After reading the reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got my AirPods today. The sound quality is incredible, they are absolutely easy to use and as far as the range I get I was able to walk a good 20 feet away from my phone and more and still had perfect sounds quality on my AirPods. All I can say is these things are absolutely incredible and I would recommend them to anyone!!!

    Great potential, but seriously flawed...

When they work, they are great, but I've had too many frustrating issues and problems to recommend them.

I experience almost daily connection and performance issues, including but not limited to:

    - failing to connect when I take them out of case and put them on
    - only one connecting when i put them on
    - dropped connections during calls
    - intermittent 'interference' when on calls
    - failure to connect when answering a phone call using Apple Watch

I've updated to iOS 11.0.1 and Apple Watch OS4, but this has, if anything, only made matters worse.

On the plus side, they are very comfortable, sound quality is great and they work very well for phone calls aside from the issues above. In some instances, mainly busy public locations such as cafes, callers have said the background noise is too loud or distracting and i've had to take them out, but on the whole they do a good job.

The battery life of the actual pods is an issue in that you can't just sit with them in all day in the office - they run out of power in a few hours, but only need a short burst in the case to re-charge. In practice it means that you'll be taking them out and putting them back in lots, in order to keep them topped up. Shouldn't be an issue, but because of the problems I'm experiencing this becomes a frustrating 'will they/won't they' work scenario whenever i try to reconnect.

If you like great (not incredible) quality earbuds, these are the ones!

Of course these are earbuds, wireless or otherwise, so there are the usual limitations over “cans” but really only bass. Background noise is cancelled due to the incredible microphones and W1 chips in each AirPod and iOS 10.3.3 and iOS 11.0.1 makes connectivity seamless. They will get LOUD!!! That statement deserved its own sentence because I definitely noticed times that the volume was turned 1-2 notches lower than my previous wired pair. The volume doesn’t seem to affect audio fidelity as far as I can tell, but I don’t have the best hearing. As most people have pointed out, volume buttons or gestures on each AirPod would make these the ultimate BT earbuds. As far as the newer pair moving the charging light outside and including wireless charging is cool, only volume buttons or gestures would make me consider a different pair. I get about 4 hours on each earbud charge and another 20 hours each after a quick 30 min pop back into the case/charger (every 4 hours).

If you are in the market for wireless earbuds look no further than a set of AirPods.

I'm not much of a review writer but I hope this help my fellow TRUCK DRIVER

I own apple products, since around 2007 2008 when I got my first I pod got too much money invested to ever go with anybody else, not that I would ever want too. These air pods are awesome not only am I wireless in my truck for watching movies and listen to music, People can hear me perfectly well when I'm on the phone driving my big rig down the road! only need one ear bud in and its way better then those huge truck driver head band with a mic that wraps around your face. And I can listen to music while I'm chaining and strapping my loads. Best purchase I've made since I switched to a MacBook Pro vs other company ......WAY TOO GOO APPLE!

AirPods & new Apple Watch 3

I had to decide whether to upgrade from my iPhone 7 OR from my original Apple Watch. With an iPhone upgrade my practices would be the same. So, I decided on a new Apple Watch 3 cellular and the AirPods. When for a run this morning without my iPhone for the first time in years, and the AirPods/Watch 3 combination was perfect. Listened to music while running and went to a walk when I got a "phone" call. Everything worked great. Perhaps next year I'll buy an iPhone X2.

The AirPods although viewed as pricy to some, are worth every penny. They have absolutely brilliant sound for wireless earphones and connect to your phone easier than a charging cable does.
