    Poor connectivity

AirPods keep skipping or dropping calls Apple support says that is due to having my phone paired with a Apple Watch, I bought them because I was under the impression that they would work seemliness with Apple products.

    Meets the Hype

Excellent set of earphones. I cannot express how convenient it is to not have a wire connecting the two sides. Audio quality is much better than expected, especially the bass. The W1 chip is amazing, and you won't find such an incredible pairing technology in any of the competition. I have practically no complaints.

I’m just received these today and my biggest complaint is they do not reduce background noise. I have to turn the volume way up not good
    For my hearing.
Sorry Apple you missed the mark on these, also they are over priced!! I’m returning them.

    Love Them!!!

I absolutely love the AirPods. They fit great in my ears and stay put no matter what activity I am doing. The sound is great and the bluetooth range is incredible. I am often on phone calls when I take a walk. With past earphones, the people on the call would complain that they could hear the wind blowing/not hear me clearly. One thing that really impressed me was that with the AirPods, the people on the other end of my calls have commented how clear I sound and there are no longer complaints about background noise.

    Got my money’s worth

The airpods are worth the $159 forsure. You really can’t find other Bluetooth buds that’s completely have no wires. The charging case is portable and it charges the buds pretty quickly. Sound quality is good and the setup is extremely easy. You take one bud out and the music stops playing, put it back in and it continues. Little things like this make me appreciate this product so much. I haven’t ran into any issues. I definitely recommend this to anyone that is heavy on the apple ecosystem, this is definitely a good gift for holiday 2017.

    Not for cardio

Initially quite please with purchase. Easy to set up and change function of left and right pod
However intended use was when working out and this is why 3 stars. Even running at a warm up speed of ten k an hour constantly needing placed in position. Was so frustrating next session had to take them out especially running at a slightly higher speed.
Happy with sound quality and the double tap works fine.
Shame won’t stay in when running as main reason for buying..
perhaps as previous reviews state, this could be individual as some users don’t seem to have the same issues.

    GReat Earphone BUT...

everything great! i love everything about it, design, sound and the battery life. BUT i always lost it. so hard to find it when its so small and compact, i lost a pair and to replace it its 69$ a piece so its almost 140$ plus tax. so I only have a box of dental floss with battery. I wish they offer more cheaper option for missing airpod.

This is the best creation that apple has come up with. I love these Air pods I use them most of the day for hours. And i love using them over my beats head phone when I'm working out. Because you never bump these when working out. And I love the way they stay in my ears with no problem. Thanks. Apple.

Great way to listen to music, talk on the phone, anything that normal headphones would do. Airpods are very easy to connect and work well. Wish there was a better way to clean then out but other than that they work beautifully.

I could truly only describe this product as magical. The way it easily connects to your devices and recognizes when it is and isn't in your ear is extraordinary. Another top feature is the charging and battery. The battery seems to last forever for both the AirPods and the case. And of course, the sound quality will blow your mind. It could be argued they are expensive but for an accessory that I use every day it is worth it. AirPods are a product of my dreams.

EASY TO LOSE & Expensive to replace

Airpods cost around $250 with sales tax and are very expensive.
If you live in Canada or any windy cold location, you will find that Airpods blow off with strong winds and due to there size, they are lost forever. That is what happened to me.

While walking home in the winter with strong winds (around 5min outdoors), my Airpods simply blew off and will cost me $89 each to replace. At around $190, I could purchase earphones with the same sound quality that stays in your ear.

WARNING please don't buy Airpods if your going to be outdoors for more then 2min.

Everything other then the high probability of losing them and high cost of replacing them is decent.

Awesome, use with Phone X and never had any issues

Had these from release almost a year ago I’d say now, batt holds still around the same in the case and the ear buds and I haven’t had a issue, use them with my iPhone X and it sounds as good as it did on previous devices, open the case put them in your ears, instantly you hear a noise to let you know it’s connected and they will be, batt is displayed from the device used with them, for the case and bud batt %, they last a few hours non stop flat out volume for me, the ear buds charge from 1% to 100% again in about 12-15mins, the mic for calls is fine, I do have to speak up a little, but they sound better than the wired ones you get with the 7-8-X devices for sure, just as loud, nice and clean, BT range is good, I’ve drooped mine a few times into the road, nothing has been damaged, I forget they are in my ears most of the time and are comfortable, I tried the new beats with the W1 chip, and I returned them after hearing these, they are better in every way..
Also worth mentioning, people complaining in reviews about asking Siri to perform tasks such as vol and skipping tracks etc, either have not updated the AirPods with the OTA update that is downloaded when charging in the case beside your device, which now has , double and triple tap settings for left and right ear piece allowing you to play/pause, skip/4wd or back tracks, or activating Siri via there Bluetooth settings on there device or they just haven’t discovered the change of settings which “was” my only gripe, and seems to be pretty much the only downfall of them which is as mentioned above, now solved and updated..
When the new wireless charging Matt from Apple is released at the start of 2018, AirPod V2 are coming out with the charge indicator light that’s inside the case when the lid s opened will be located on the front of the case for convenience with a new wireless charging case for the AirPods or as a optional wireless case for people happy with existing AirPods, but use Qi wireless for there iPhone etc
This is def a product I recommend if you live daily with music in your life, after trying alot of high end brands, using wireless and wired types, I found these to last longer than $3-400 headphones I’ve had, sound awesome, the build, function, ease of setup and use, changeable setting features, you can’t go wrong, ive certainly never regretted buying them either..

The Trouble with These Headphones - the High Maintenance Head Phone

These headphones are high maintenance to keep track of because you have to track and keep safe the 2 separate buds and the fob. You have to carry these around with you just like you do your cell. The three (3) separate little pieces that you have to keep track gives one a little extra anxiety every day because of the extremely high price point to replace them. Ask yourself, how many times, you have had to replace headphones or replace a cell phone then multiply both those numbers by $160. That's what you'll spend to have these nice headphones with you all the time. The ear buds can fall out of your ears and after you get used to wearing them sometimes you can't tell they've fallen out. It is hard enough to keep track of a cell phone, keep it safe and out of water or prevent damage like a dog eating it but at least with a cell you can get an Otter Box case and insurance from your phone service provider but these are not available for these expensive headphones. Your fob and 2 separate ear buds are susceptible to the same things you have to protect your cell phone from. Technology like Apple has been helping to make things easier or helping us to become more productive. Apple missed the mark with these headphones .... that is unless you have the money to spend at a $160 per pair every time something happens to them. I say wait to buy these until something more convenient comes out. You almost feel like you have to buy these headphones if you have the iPhone 7 because the iPhone 7 did away with the ability to charge both your phone and the headphones at the same time. Ugh...

    really good but can improve

Connectivity is just great! I can easily go to every room of my house and they won’t disconnect.
Sound quality is pretty good and actually the base is great.
They do work great with all my apple devices.
Also, they stay in my ears perfectly and the don’t fall out whatever i do.

They sometimes make a sound like a click when talking to the phone and that’s annoying.
When i only use the one airpod and after i put the other one it doesn’t connect. I have to go to the airplay button and then the other airpod connects.
It could have more gestures or capabilities like one tap to pause/play or other things.
Last but not least, iPhone 7’s battery life is awful . Battery on the iPhone lasts for 2-3 hours when using it.

They are great for someone who wants to go anywhere in the house and still talk to someone or listen to music.
Battery life is great so i love them. Apple can do better with firmware updates.

    Love these AirPods!

I have only had the AirPods for a few days but I am so thrilled with them already! I think they sound even better than the wired EarPods, they are very comfortable and work flawlessly. The ease of connection and switching between devices has been such a joy, iPhone, Apple Watch, AppleTV and MacBook Pro all connected in a flash! Phone calls are easy and crystal clear. The bluetooth range is phenomenal, I am actually able to walk outside and around my concrete block home with my phone inside and never drop the connection. The battery life for the pods and the case is amazing, I charged both to capacity when I received them, 5 days and haven't had to charge the case yet. I just put the pods back in the case after every use and they charge up super fast! I haven't had any issues with them falling out at all. Working out, even being upside down in yoga or just dancing around TRYING to make them fall out, they stay put and very comfortable. I never minded how they looked when I saw them on other people, no more conspicuous than with that white wire hanging anyway!
    Great product, super happy!

    Ok but not OK!

Everything seemed to work out ok
except there is no announcing of successful connection or disconnecting,
and there is no warning before dying out, it just cut off.
