    Currently most innovative apple product

Anyone giving a bad review of the EarPods must have Spock shaped ears. These are amazing!
Of course there is a chance you may lose or drop one. It's so worth the risk to be wireless!
Having cordless earphones that "just work" is amazing! Plug and play!
The charging case easily fits in a pocket.
    Thanks again Apple.

    Won't fit in my ears

This is the first pair of earphones that won't fit in my ears and from what I have been reading on the internet, I'm not the only one. I know that the audio quality is very good but this design flaw makes the whole thing unusable and disappointing.

    Not the best

After accidentally leaving my dongle in an Uber, I have been forced to use these EarPods with Ligtning Connector. The sound is fine, but it's the lack of integration that frustrates me. The in-line mic and volume controls are finicky and don't get recognized. This may not be a result of the headphones, but have noticed a significant drain in battery life while I use Spotify (may just be the Spotify app's recent update). In addition, i need to switch between two phones for personal and work (iPhone 7 to iPhone 6) and was hoping to seamlessly use these headphones for both devices. That is not case. Sometimes these headphones won't even be recognized on the phone, the controls won't work, etc.

I'm all for removing the headphone jack, but at least make sure your devices and accessories will be able to support the changes. Horrible.

Sound is good but earbuds are not

The sound is very good but it is the way the earbuds are made that I can't stand. I don't know what genius thought it to be a good idea to make the new earbuds only work with iPhones, but I hope whoever it was gets fired. I can't plug these into anything but an iPhone or iPad. I can't listen to music on my MacBook Air or on my friend's Android phone. I hope the rest of Apple's earbuds are made the old way.

    Hot?!

I used for two hours and then started to become hot,but i like the lightning connector more than the 3.5mm connector cuz it's easier to remove it from the device :) and good design

    THESE ARE AMAZING

Ok, get this. Not once, but TWICE these earbuds go through the washing machine after I left them in my pocket. Well, I plugged them in and they still work!! I'm throughly amazed because they went through twice, covered in soap and water, and lo and behold they still work beautifully. As soon as I pulled them out of the washing machine the second time, plugged them in, and they still worked, I instantly logged onto the Apple webesite to give this amazing review. THESE ARE AMAZING!!!

    Lightning connector

Very flimsy product and poorly made. Don't see the point of this modification. The old earphones are much better

    Great sound. Horrid fit.

Most modern earphones provide a flexible silicone section to mould to the shape of the varying human ear canal. Not Apple ear-destroyers though. No, your ears WILL conform the tapered rods they insist you ram into the sides of your head. Once you manage to press these torture implements deep enough in to your skull, you'll find they are able to produce a relatively pleasant sound.
Unfortunately your reward for self harming is short lived as the tapered shape gives them a tendency to eject from your freshly created penetrations if you dare move your body around.
If they have failed to leave your head and enter the bottom of your foot automatically, you'll soon be compelled to remove them by the searing pain in your now bleeding ears caused by the spikes which Apple have fitted for your comfort.
If you've managed to evade both of the above problems for over an hour then your phone is bound to be in need of a charge which Apple have conveniently made impossible while their horrible earphones are connected.
Luckily you can plug a set of proper earphones straight in to avoid all of this suffering... Oh no, you can't.

    Fail too easily

I've had these for the 5 month's I've had my 7. The controller only works sometimes and the sound occasionally cuts out. I usually unplug and plug it back and it starts working again, but that should not happen 5 months in with very little use.

I only use these occasionally at work (in an office) to listen to music so I can easily pause and talk to others without touching my phone. I typically use other headphones connected to my laptop station, so these should be holding up better than they are.

I will not buy a second pair of these (i only have the pair the phone came with). I am very disappointed in this product. I do not recommend you spend money on this item.

first the remote stopped working, then the right earpod.

The quality of these earpods is terrible, all the rubber seals around contact points was gone after 2 months, then the remote stopped working, and now 4 months in the right earpod as well. These are fine to get with your iPhone but I wouldn't recommend buying them.

    Worst Yet

These fall out of your ears with any slight movement, so are pretty much useless. The sound quality is terrible, but iphone headphones always have been. At least before I could upgrade them without having to use a converter which is guaranteed to go missing eventually. I can't charge my phone and listen to music via headphones or aux out. Why can't apple include a good set of headphones when I have just spent £600?!

THESE THINGS WENT THROUGH THE WASHING MACHINE AND DRYER AND STILL WORK PERFECTLY. WHAT THE HECK APPLE
Definitely recommend for other people who have a tendency to wash their headphones.

    Excellent product, excellent sound quality

Just received the EarPods with Lightning Connector in the mail and immediately started listening to the music of Chopin's 100 Classical Masterpieces I purchased earlier. The quality of sound in truly excellent. I highly recommend this product.

Nice sound quality but needs more duribility.

Two or three moths ago I bought the IPhone 7 and I saw that there were headphones included with the phone. After the first few weeks I got back to my house and plugged in the headphones. My hands were sweaty when I plugged in the headphones but even after I wiped the part used to plug them in they were never dry again and they remain slippery when ever I use them. Another problem these have is the speakers themselves, Yes the sound quality is better than a lot of headphones ive used but sometimes when i´m using them they make strange loud noises that sound like those a pair of headphones would make if they could scream. The worst part of the problem is that it happens randomly and a few hours ago they made the noises again a loud enough to be heard in the next room and I cut myself trying to get them out.

    Great Bass and quality!

I got these headphones when I purchased the iPhone 7 on the first week release. I go to the gym every week day. I listen to Coremetal, death metal, & Trap City or bass booster songs and they worked wonderfully! I love blasting the bass & hearing the drum solos! I sweat on them, survives, I take them to the Suana room, surivves. I take them to the mist room, still survives! I run with them, doesn't fall off! Rarely have to adjust but that's expected when sprinting like with any other headphones really. Forgot them once in my pockets in laundry, still survives with no issues or quality drop! I don't have issues with them "falling off" my ears. They fit perfectly on me & have nothing to complain about. Sadly now after surviving through all the times at them gym, exposed to water & blasting to the bass booster songs, the right ear is giving out. Have to move it around to work fine but I don't want to keep doing that. So I'm going to purchase a new pair & felt like putting a review! For the price comparing to other headphones, sound & bass quality, & surviving through everything I've used them in for a good few months, they're worth the buy! I've had pervious headphones I used as "back up" when forgot my apple headphones at home, those couldn't last at least 5 days at the gym and through the water elements or having the same bass sound quality. These headphones rock!
