    Trash, barely lasted a year

I initially payed $329 to get a pair of quality headphones to last me the four years of undergrad. The headphones lasted me one year then stopped charging, the leather on the earcups came off and a couple weeks later one of the earphones stopped working. I babied these pair of phones from day one and always used the carrying case. Avoid at all costs

Beats solo 2 owner, very upset about product

I purchased the beats solo 2 and TWICE they have broke. For $200 they are not worth it and I continue to see flaws in beats by dre products. The first time one side the audio went out and I was able to get a free repair. I was not happy because of having an expensive product that I expected to be better to break but they were very willing to help. Now about 40 minutes ago they broke again. The back of the mic and volume fell off and will not go back into the mic. I was simply sitting and I felt the plastic and realized it had fell off. I just got back from talking to apple support and I am not happy. I has to hunt for ID numbers for the repair and the exact dates I purchased the headphones and the repair. I was told I have to pay $100 plus $6.95 to get a piece of plastic put back onto my product. I will not be paying another $106.95 on top of the original $200 to get my headphones perfect the second time. Once I purchased them they should have came in the best condition then not after spending more money to get them normal. I am not happy whatsoever and I will not be getting them repaired by apple. I hope other products have been improved and people don't have to go through the difficulties I had to go through for full functioning headphones. Thanks to $3 duct tape I will be able to tape the plastic back onto the mic and dealing with the homemade logical remedy.

    Great product

The sound is amazing and has very long battery life. The range is unbelievable. The only bad part about the headphones are that the head band keeps coming off. I had to make a report and I got new ones free only paid shipping but once again the head band broke and I take very good care of them.

good sound but bad quality - unreliable

Very good sound although a bit on the Bass side. This a very well designed product with great functionnality with Appel products. I can use it paired with my iphone and respond to calls all or listen to HQ music when paired with my Mac all of that free hands, I loved it!!...but..the reliability is very poor. When I got them one side was not working correctly, Apple service was very good and efficient. Then blue tooth was not working, it is well documented problem. I found a way to reset them (google) and they worked fine. Then ear pad leather started to go off from the ear pad. And just after the warranty is over the bluetooth does not work anymore. Although the well documented problem Apple does not recognize it and now my wireless isn't working i have to use the cable. Apple propose me to have them changed for a hefty 179$ + transport?? WOW that is not indicative of good respect for customers. my advice DO NOT BUY THIS POOR QUALITY PRODUCT unless you don't care about money you can purchase one after the other when they will eventually stop functionning. On my side I will invest in a more reliable product. Hope this help... PS I am not an anti Apple I like Apple products I own several Macs and an iphone. For the sound and effectiveness of use I still give them 2 stars

    Great until they break

So I've had two pairs of these headphones and they're great... for about 7 to 9 months. Then the right side just stops working (rumour is it's a known internal flaw that I guess Beats has just decided not to fix??). Anyways, if you want to drop $300 dollars on headphones that are very comfortable and work great for a few months, go ahead and buy these. At the end of the day though, you'll be spending $300 on disposable headphones and buying from a company that is totally taking advantage of that fact.

    Horrable Build Quality Great Sound

This pair of headphones have great sound quality. The only thing is that the build quality is bad. The headband is not too good. The part that folds has bad damage. I use headphones most of the day. For this price i feel like the build quality should be better. The sound is great but it does not make up for the build quality and price. I feel like they should fo better build quality for this price, if it was $150 or less than it would be better.

    Solo3

These headphones are dope. They sound amazing and are pretty comfortable. The 40 hr battery life is what sold me on this pair and that number seems to be pretty accurate. I'm used to charging headphones every night but I can easily go 3-5 days and be between 40-60%. They're well worth the $300.

    Stoped working randomly.

For some reason they just randomly stop working the wireless part that is at first they were working perfect right out the box then about one month later I put it on the charger. Pick them up got ready to use them and I couldn't turn them on they kept on saying they were dead but every time I put them on the charger they were fully charged and I tried resetting them but it didn't work and I'm kind of disappointed because I wasted $300 for some broken headphones that only work wired in the only reason why I want to because I thought they were special because they're a wireless but obviously was a waste of money thanks a lot Beats.

Right ear stopped working during wireless usage

Hello, the sound quality in these headphones is great. I bought my pair past January, and nothing has been an issue until this past week. After using them in the gym, suddenly the right side stopped working. This issue only occurs when I use them in wireless mode, both sound fine when I use the cable. I wanted to know what can I do to have them fixed, or is there a warranty on them. Thank you.

    Great Quality Product!

I bring my beats solo 3 to school every day crammed in my overstuffed backpack. At first i was thinking about buying a hardshell case for them because i doubted the quality of the build because of the flimsiness of the plastic. Definitely not needed. They withstand everything and i am very pleased. I also love the wireless connectivity with my iPhone SE. The battery is great and i do hope it stays that way after multiple cycles. Many reviews say these have too much bass but that is completely untrue. Love the balance of the sound. These are definitely 300$ headphones. Great job Apple! You did way better than Monster did.

    Fantastic! Best Buy!

Bought myself a new pair of Solo 3's and it's probably the best pair of headphones I've ever had. Bluetooth range is unbelievable (no more having to carry your phone around when you're just going to the kitchen for a drink) with no delay, battery life is incredible and the sound quality is fantastic and seriously powerful. The switching process between iPhone and Mac is effortless and it charges in no time. One charge lasts me weeks! Definitely worth every cent! 10/10

    So Solo's

Good and light design, very powerful battery life and the W1 helps to save the battery on iPhone 7 also. Quality is 4/5, bass could be added a hair more, wish for that in software update. Overall these are great pair of headphones, nice design and colors. Only complain is that they die if the weather is a bit cold or windy. Other than that no complains here.

    Best headphones I've bought!

I'd been thinking about buying these headphones for a while and I was reading all the reviews and you know what they're like you always get a few bad ones but the majority of them were good. So I bought them and I love using them! The sound is so crisp and clear, the way the fit is perfect and so comfortable and the fact that it's wireless is brilliant! I hate wired headphones now I've had these! It was a shot in the dark buy, but I'm glad I did it! They're just what I needed. :)

Great Headphones for the Average Consumer

I recently purchased a pair of these headphones last month and I can definitely say that I've enjoyed using these. The sound delivery is what you'd expect from beats- a lot of bass. It's all about your preferences when it comes to sound and if you're one who enjoys songs with a lot of bass then these might be for you. Bottomline, I was impressed with the sound quality but it might not go the same for everyone. The design is amazing as they come in a sleek, streamlined design that will most likely catch your friends' attention. When it comes to fashion and style, these things got you covered. They're also very comfortable on my head and come in leather, plush, pivoting ear cups which are honestly SO COMFORTABLE and I'm not even exaggerating. You don't have to worry about them falling off at all. The on-ear controls allow you to take calls, pause/play music, raise/lower the volume, and switch between songs. This is a very convenient feature which I found very useful. Battery life is outstanding as you can probably go three weeks without charging them. Connectivity is a breeze as the new W1 chip makes the pairing process way easier. The Bluetooth connectivity range is unbelievable as you can walk over 150 ft away from your phone without losing connection. These, however, do come with their flaws as they don't incorporate a variety of sounds. Like I mentioned earlier, they tend to favor bass over everything. Again, it's all based on your preferences. I also noticed that they don't work in cold weather conditions. (-5 C or below). So these are basically useless when you're out for a cold morning jog. Overall, I liked using these headphones and plan to keep them. I would rate their performance an 85%. I don't think they're $300 good but I'd say for the average consumer you won't be disappointed.
