    LOVE THEM!

Upgraded to the Solo3 WIreless from AKG headphones and they're simply the best I've ever had. Pairing with my iPhone 7 is a near-magic-half-sec-process and audio quality is great, but the absolute best thing about them is the amazing battery life!

Excellent quality and sound + I have a question

Excellent quality and sound. I love the headphones I just purchased. I have a question, hoping someone can help me resolve the issue quickly. I was able to pair my headphone with my MacBook Pro, iPhone 6, iMac 27 (2010), iPad 2. How do I turn the internal speakers off on the MacBook Pro and on the iMac when I connect the Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones via Bluetooth? Thanking you in advance for your help.

    Distance and Battery

I will admit I am bit biased towards beats since the partnership with Monster I have literally put nothing else but beats on my ears I think everything else is inferior epically in style but in other aspects as well. That said it doesn't mean I think these are a gift sent from god himself they do have their flaws now I have a 2016 MacBook Pro (the newest one at this time) and though it advertises seamless streaming with apple products and a long wireless range that is not always the case. It is almost as if the are interruptions once your reach distance but then it quickly recalibrates and resumes normal streaming I don't know maybe this is a change in frequency once I walk a said distance away but who knows. The 40 Hours I'm not so sure about that. it does not turn off automatically after a certain period of time without sound coming through but it can usually stay on for hours without me knowing so I can't be a true judge. Now its call quality is perfect without the cable mic and the sound is superb as expected other than what I had mention I have no qualms with the product. I would recommend it if you are just an average Jane or Joe or have a taste for rap or Bass heavy music but take care of these they are luxury and like most luxury items treat them with care.

    I've owned beats b4 but ....

I've owned MULTIPLE beats earphones over the years; but I can safely say that these headphones are at the TOP of the mountain when it comes to sound quality, comfort and style. My biggest issue with the earphones was the Bluetooth range and how songs would ALWAYS skip when I went for a run or tried to move too far away from my phone. The new W1 (Chip) was exactly what these products needed in order to deliver a more smoother, crisp experience for your music needs. Bravo Apple and beats.

    Disappointed

Got these free with a MacBook Pro, the sound quality isn't as good as other good brand headphones. I find the standard earphones you get with your iPhone has a better sound quality and clarity than these.

    Awesome battery life

These things are amazing for battery life. They sound great and feel sturdy and don't hurt the ears. The only thing that's a con is that it charges with micro-USB instead of USB-C.

    It's good, when it's working!!

I am so disappointed with this product. When you pay more expensive in a Beats compared to similar products from other brands, you expect it to work!! I have it for less than one year and it's the third time I have to take it to the assistance. This is very annoying!!

    Not good

I found these headphones to be extremely uncomfortable and the sound quality is no better than headphones that cost $100 less. The headphones sit onto of the ear, rather than enveloping them and this started to bother my ears after barely 10 minutes. I can't imagine using them at length. Beats may have the premium look, and the price to go with it, but their quality falls far short.

    Unbeatable ;)

Best all-round headphones bar none. Sound quality is excellent; rich bass but plenty of mid and trebble too. Nice and loud with no distortion. W1 chip features are amazing. Super long battery life, ultra quick charging and super simple connecting to iPhone and Mac. Even though my first pair suffered a manufacturing defect (headband was faulty) Apple replaced them for a new pair without quibble and the replacement pair have been faultless. Well worth the price. :)

    Amazing!

These headphones are the best! Not only is the sound quality excellent, but they're very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, which is a very important factor in headphones for me. Would definitely recommend.

    Completely disappointed

These headphones are fantastic and gets the job done....when they are working at least. I am someone who takes care of his gear and when I finally got a hold of this pair of headphones, I protected them and used them to their potential. Unfortunately, after 6 months of having them, I noticed the leather part of the ear cushioning was coming out on its own and i also noticed a lot of other people suffering from the same problem. Not long after, the right ear on my headphones stopped working. I have never dropped them, nor put them through rough handling. I was so disappointed to see these 300 dollar headphones deplete like a pair of old BOSE headphones. At least the warranty is a year, but even so, Your not only buying headphones for its quality of sound but also its quality of manufacturing. So in quick words, great sound, great look, terrible durability and not very lasting.

Didn't know what to expect, BLOWN AWAY!

I have never owned any specials headphones other than the earbuds that came with my iPhones. Yesterday I boight a new MacBook Air and got a pair of Beats Solo3 (Product)Red with them...AND I AM BLOWN AWAY. The sound quality in these is absolutely amazing. Crystal clear. Great connection to my iPhone and MacBook, and I don't think I'll ever be able to use another product than Beats.

    Trash, barely lasted a year

I initially payed $329 to get a pair of quality headphones to last me the four years of undergrad. The headphones lasted me one year then stopped charging, the leather on the earcups came off and a couple weeks later one of the earphones stopped working. I babied these pair of phones from day one and always used the carrying case. Avoid at all costs

Beats solo 2 owner, very upset about product

I purchased the beats solo 2 and TWICE they have broke. For $200 they are not worth it and I continue to see flaws in beats by dre products. The first time one side the audio went out and I was able to get a free repair. I was not happy because of having an expensive product that I expected to be better to break but they were very willing to help. Now about 40 minutes ago they broke again. The back of the mic and volume fell off and will not go back into the mic. I was simply sitting and I felt the plastic and realized it had fell off. I just got back from talking to apple support and I am not happy. I has to hunt for ID numbers for the repair and the exact dates I purchased the headphones and the repair. I was told I have to pay $100 plus $6.95 to get a piece of plastic put back onto my product. I will not be paying another $106.95 on top of the original $200 to get my headphones perfect the second time. Once I purchased them they should have came in the best condition then not after spending more money to get them normal. I am not happy whatsoever and I will not be getting them repaired by apple. I hope other products have been improved and people don't have to go through the difficulties I had to go through for full functioning headphones. Thanks to $3 duct tape I will be able to tape the plastic back onto the mic and dealing with the homemade logical remedy.
