    Great Quality Product!

I bring my beats solo 3 to school every day crammed in my overstuffed backpack. At first i was thinking about buying a hardshell case for them because i doubted the quality of the build because of the flimsiness of the plastic. Definitely not needed. They withstand everything and i am very pleased. I also love the wireless connectivity with my iPhone SE. The battery is great and i do hope it stays that way after multiple cycles. Many reviews say these have too much bass but that is completely untrue. Love the balance of the sound. These are definitely 300$ headphones. Great job Apple! You did way better than Monster did.

    Fantastic! Best Buy!

Bought myself a new pair of Solo 3's and it's probably the best pair of headphones I've ever had. Bluetooth range is unbelievable (no more having to carry your phone around when you're just going to the kitchen for a drink) with no delay, battery life is incredible and the sound quality is fantastic and seriously powerful. The switching process between iPhone and Mac is effortless and it charges in no time. One charge lasts me weeks! Definitely worth every cent! 10/10

    Great

Great sound great battery life I only wish they had the option to get over the ear pads instead of on ear if they sold replacement ear pads I could upgrade to over ear I'd be much happier

    So Solo's

Good and light design, very powerful battery life and the W1 helps to save the battery on iPhone 7 also. Quality is 4/5, bass could be added a hair more, wish for that in software update. Overall these are great pair of headphones, nice design and colors. Only complain is that they die if the weather is a bit cold or windy. Other than that no complains here.

    Best headphones I've bought!

I'd been thinking about buying these headphones for a while and I was reading all the reviews and you know what they're like you always get a few bad ones but the majority of them were good. So I bought them and I love using them! The sound is so crisp and clear, the way the fit is perfect and so comfortable and the fact that it's wireless is brilliant! I hate wired headphones now I've had these! It was a shot in the dark buy, but I'm glad I did it! They're just what I needed. :)

Great Headphones for the Average Consumer

I recently purchased a pair of these headphones last month and I can definitely say that I've enjoyed using these. The sound delivery is what you'd expect from beats- a lot of bass. It's all about your preferences when it comes to sound and if you're one who enjoys songs with a lot of bass then these might be for you. Bottomline, I was impressed with the sound quality but it might not go the same for everyone. The design is amazing as they come in a sleek, streamlined design that will most likely catch your friends' attention. When it comes to fashion and style, these things got you covered. They're also very comfortable on my head and come in leather, plush, pivoting ear cups which are honestly SO COMFORTABLE and I'm not even exaggerating. You don't have to worry about them falling off at all. The on-ear controls allow you to take calls, pause/play music, raise/lower the volume, and switch between songs. This is a very convenient feature which I found very useful. Battery life is outstanding as you can probably go three weeks without charging them. Connectivity is a breeze as the new W1 chip makes the pairing process way easier. The Bluetooth connectivity range is unbelievable as you can walk over 150 ft away from your phone without losing connection. These, however, do come with their flaws as they don't incorporate a variety of sounds. Like I mentioned earlier, they tend to favor bass over everything. Again, it's all based on your preferences. I also noticed that they don't work in cold weather conditions. (-5 C or below). So these are basically useless when you're out for a cold morning jog. Overall, I liked using these headphones and plan to keep them. I would rate their performance an 85%. I don't think they're $300 good but I'd say for the average consumer you won't be disappointed.

    Beats are finally worth it

I've had some very bad experiences with the Beats brand when it was owned by Monster. Since Apple now owns them I though I'd give their newest headphones a try. Although it's not exactly worth the full $300, the Solos provide a very comfortable and convenient experience. I hope Beats improves the sound and the bluetooth in their future headphones.

    Very pleasantly surprised!

Well, well, well, this is a surprise. While the new Solo 3 haven't gotten any better in the sound department( they weren't bad before but just not on the same level as the studios) they have made things very pleasant for the internals and overall usability of the product. The sure fact that you can get 40+hours of use out of any blue-tooth headphone is flat out amazing and worth the payment by itself. Then they add the 5-minute charge for those of us that get caught up in our busy life and forget to charge it. Finally, the W1 chip's ability to sync with such ease is just magically. Opening the headphones and being able to use them fully charged and synced within 1 minutes is almost priceless. Oh, I forgot to mention how comfortable the new solo's 3 are. They are better on my ears for some reason. I think they made the cushion better than they were on the Solo 2's.

    Overpriced Status Symbol

Beat's Solo3 Wireless are decent headphones... for 70 bucks. They are very shiny, bluetooth, comfortable, and elegant, but the sound quality is not what I'd expect from $300 headphones. If you want these for the social klout go ahead, it's your money. However, if you are concerned with getting the most bang-for-your-buck in terms of performance, I'd recommend the Audio-Technica M40-X. The build quality is great, and they fold down into a nice compact package like the Solo3's do (although the M40-X is more compact). They are EXTREMELY comfortable, and the sound quality is pure bliss. The bass, treble, and mids are all balanced into a flat signature that lets you hear all the fine details of a track, and pick up on the different instruments. Best part: They're only $100.

    beats

what made me buy this beats specially was the w1 chip from apple. it takes bluetooth connection way more further than before. thanks to the w1 chip you dont have to do anithing to connect your headphones. its automatic. what i would really like isto have more colour options and combinations. like the solo2 had. the sound quality is great. what does not help me so much as a DJ is that when using them with an aux cable you still need to charge them. But the problem is solved. These pair of headphones have a 40 hour battery life and by 5 minutes of charge you have 3 hours off battery life. i am very happy with these beats and i highly recomend them.

    Some good more bad

I was so excited to 'invest" in these. the look is great. the sound is great, however the overall product quality is terrible. my first pair kept just randomly disconnecting. and the replacement set I just received has terrible sound quality with the mic, that no one can hear me when I talk. I found the support with apple to not be overly knowledgeable ... one got into a debate that my solo3 ear phones didn't have a mic and i had to talk into my phone anyway! So now I am on my SECOND replacement set in 1 month. I am hoping they finally get it right.

    Love At First Listen

I have just switched to the Beats Solo Wireless headphones and I am really impressed. I was previously using Bose Soundlink first gen with wire and those sound great, better in some areas, not so much in others but so far I am just loving my new ones! Great overall sound and they are really comfortable! 40hrs of battery life was a huge sell for me! Also super easy to link up to my iPhone and MacBook Pro! Thanks!

    Great sound - awful smell

Upgraded from the original wired beats studio to the beats wireless 3. Everything sounds great and the battery life is amazing however I use these headphones for training purposes and they smell awful! I did not have this problem with the original wired beats so I am confused and what is causing the smell.

    Easy setup, great sound

Have been wanting over ear headphones so picked these up at Costco ($219), almost changed my mind to the Bose soundlink (typically a big bose fan), but these have great reviews on the 40 hr battery (bose is 15hrs) as well as great sound. What a ridiculously easy setup, one tap and they work, comfy and great sound. Nailed it Apple! Probably not going to bother with AirPods now.

    Frustrating

Had these for about 2 months now and must say am pretty disappointed, sound quality is good, as is using hands free, but connecting the headphones to a device can often be a real struggle. The problem usually arises when having to switch input, e.g. From iPhone to MacBook, it will show up in the mac Bluetooth options but will fail to connect, even when you've completely disconnected it from the phone. To try to solve this I will 'forget this device', but this is usually fruitless and I will have to either fiddle around for 20 minutes, turning things off/on, connecting/disconnecting; or I simply won't be able to use my £250 headphones because the Bluetooth is so temperamental and my phone doesn't have a f***ing headphone slot! Would not recommend.

Not that loud but Phenomenal sound quality!

Could of been a little louder in volume, but over all they deliver an impressive sound quality!!! I love the fact that you can also talk on your phone using this wireless headset without the use of a cord! 5-stars!!!!
