    Such a bad product

I usually use the adaptor with another brand, but after not even a year the adaptor died.. so back to apple earbuds in the meantime. The sound is bad, they don’t stay in my ears, I can’t turn my head without one falling

Good thing they came with the phone otherwise I would have been very upset to pay 35$ plus tax for these!

    Great value

I keep breaking these headphones(I'm on my 5th pair), but they work great while not broken. so they're not very durable, but sound great!
the headphone jack bends if not treated properly.

    Free, but Why bother?

It's a good thing Apple invested in Beats because their original earbuds (along with each iteration accompanying each successive release) are dreadful.
I'll start with the positive: sound quality is pretty clear. However, they are incapable of minimizing external sounds, so avoid using in public places.
Next, comfort: total miss. The plastic and rubber materials used combine to an ill-fitting round rock that leave my ears sore after each short use, ending with me questioning myself why I continue to re-use them. When will I learn?!
Lastly, durability: laughable. These things fell apart from sitting in the plastic casing at my desk. The apple earpods serve as a backup for when when my wireless buds need charging, and fail at that. They are busting at the seams/connections, and there's an annoying rattle in one of the pods. I really don't understand how they could be in such poor shape with such minimal use..
My only justification for owning them is that they came free with the purchase of the iPhone (I'm sure the cost of the phone had this "giveaway" baked in, but allow me this rationale for my sanity). Had I paid retail at $29, I'd be enraged for not buying the far superior Samsung buds for only $6.

    Most durable earbuds EVER!

I have been using Apple Earbuds ever since middle school, and now I am a sophomore in uni. I have been using my current pair since the beginning of my freshman year and here I am still using the same ones well into the second semester of my sophomore year. I don't get why people are complaining about these, maybe it's time you reassess how you take care of these? I don't jam these into my pockets and abuse them like most people who've given them a one-star have done (they're just not admitting that). I don't mind having to untangle them a couple times a week. The rubber below the headphone plug has been wearing off since 6 months ago but they work absolutely fine. I take care of these pretty darn well. I dropped one side of the earbud into a cup of tea but it works fine, it just sounds a bit muffled. I'm planning on ordering another one just in case someone decides to steal mine or if anything bad happens to these. I use these for music production as well, bass response is precisely what I need, not too heavy and not too light. Mids and highs are perfect.

And on a side note, do not purchase these from another source other than Apple! Sprint has scammed me by providing me with what I consider to be FAKE replicas of these when I purchased my iPhone 6S Plus from there. There is a reason why Apple does not sell these on Amazon anymore, so keep that in mind and buy directly from them!

Not all they say they are

The headphones I have have hands down the best audio quality. They fit your ears well too. But! Nevertheless, when I purchased a pair the audio controls unexpectedly ruined in about a month. I took great care of them, keeping them away from water and protecting the cord from bending badly. Aggravated I put up with it. A week before Christmas I got a new phone. The new headphones that came with them have already ruined and I’ve taken great care of them once again. It’s only been a month, AGAIN. I’m extremely disappointed. The controls are cheaply made.

    Worst thing I've ever bought

I hate these headphones. I hate them SO MUCH IT HURTS.
    Literally, they hurt.
They don't fit well, they hurt, the sound isn't wonderful. I'm sitting next to people with them in BLASTING music (because I have to) and I can still hear everyone else's conversations.
I have a headache from having the music turned up so high, but if I turn it down I can't hear the music at all because of the noise around me (which is normal conversation)

Good bass and comfortable to ear

Don't go for other online stores offering "Genuine" Apple Earpods.
Buy original from Apple and save yourself money and live peacefully.

    Busted Ear Drum??

These are the most uncomfortable things ever. I’ve forced these things in my ear bc hey this is how it is, Apple created these rock hard ROUND things assuming everyone will love them. Well I woke up one morning with blood on my pillow from a busted ear drum. I shouldn’t have used them. Can’t find the old ones anymore either. It’s just like the lightening cables, we go through those by the gross. Everyone knows they only last a little while. What’s wrong with Apple these days??

    Only lasts a month

Been going through a pair of these a month. Just kept not playing music on one side and kept skipping and pausing with every headphone... Still looked brand new though. Never buying another pair, buyer be warned.

    Comfortable, but Breakable

These headphones are by far the most comfortable headphones I've owned. The sound quality is outstanding. But, all magic comes at a price. These headphones tend to break easily, the cords can get tangled up, wires rip. They frequently get caught on things, such as doorknobs, chairs, or the corner of a table if it's caught just right. And for the price of 30 dollars, I cannot afford to buy a new pair every month or so. Perhaps, if they were a smidge cheaper, I would consider buying more. But that simply isn't the case. Overall, I believe the sound quality and comfortability to be worth a solid five-star rating, but the poor quality of the wiring is simply unbearable and brings down the overall quality of the product.

You can’t beat the sound quality of the Apple Ear Pods!

The Apple Ear Pod’s sound quality is not the only spec that makes the Ear Pods hard to beat. The look and style of the Apple Ear Pods have a modern and sleek look. They also give a comfortable feeling in your ears when in use. Using any other earbuds would be a huge downgrade from the amazing quality of the Apple Ear Pods.

The product is amazing, usually default headphone by any brand is always a waste but with apple this product is amazing. My impression while buying iPhone was I would be getting a cheap headphone but apple amazed me with the sound quality, the rich bass etc.
Thanks for the wonderful headphone and always keep inventing.

    SUPER durable

I accidentally ran them over with my car, and when I picked them up, one of the ear pieces was cracked into like 5 pieces, and the other one popped right out of the socket and was dangling on by a little wire, but to my surprise they still worked perfectly fine! 10/10 on durability!

    Just ok Earphones.

The sound quality for 'music and calls' was good for the 1st year. Even though I take good care of it, the volume dropped drastically after 1st year and I am forced to hear at full volume always. And while talking, If there is some background noise I am not able to hear anything. To buy a new one, it is pretty costly too.
