    Total garbage

Bought them and only lasted 2 months. Then it was replaced by Apple and those ones also lasted only 2 months. I really regret purchasing this garbage. There is warranty on it so I guess I will burn through another couple of them before the warranty expires - but now I have to buy another earphone as I need it in the gym at least six times a week and I need another one while this is being replaced (~10 days to turn it around). I will never buy any Beats products again. Total garbage.

    Third Time's Not the Charm...

First pair broke just after a month, sent them back. Amazon was kind enough to take the return even though they were just over a month old. Second pair broke after about 4 months. Sent in for repair. Third party repair facility sent on to Apple who just sent back a new pair. Third pair broke after a week. Amazon just refunded me the money. Good on Amazon for their customer service. Terrible product. So so bad. So many reviews say these are terrible and yet, they're all I see in the gym.

    Not Dependable for Exercise

I was initially impressed with these headphones while listening to them at work but the headphones are not suitable for exercise. Whenever there is even a small amount of moisture the volume will intermittently decrease or increase on its own and the power button -- whether used when dry or with mild perspiration -- will sometimes not work or require repeated presses to activate. I have sent the headphones in for service but am concerned this may be a problem (with the sealing of the switches?) that is inherent to the design. While I wait for a replacement I have reverted to a $10 pair of wired headphones that are not as convenient but work perfectly.

    SAVE YOUR MONEY

As many of you reading this already know, the power beats 3 are NOT sweat resistant and will inevitably stop working. Apple - your name is now synonymous with Beats and this goes against everything you stand for. As a long time apple fan (5+ iPhones, 2 MacBooks, 2 iPads, 1 Apple Watch) this is UNACCEPTABLE. Either discontinue selling the headphones and refund everyone their money, or FIX the headphones.

    Defective Product

Defective. It's the only way to describe these headphones I got as a gift last Christmas. Now 8 months later, they will not charge. Once they get wet with sweat they will shut down and won't turn on. Sometimes, if you're lucky, they will charge after at least 18 hours and they will work, but if you decide to use them again at the gym, they will eventually shut down again. Mine have been charging for the last 3 days and nothing's happening. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

    terrible product

I got these as a birthday gift and was only able to use them twice before they completely died. I haven't even had them a week! Earbuds won't charge, won't turn on, and no attempts to reset work. I have never had a product fail so quickly!

    great earbuds!

Love these headphones! They have great sound and can last through anything. Someone accidentally put them in my laundry basket, they went through the wash and they still work! Very impressed. They're comfortable and it's nearly impossible for them to fall out.

    Worst product ever

This is by far the worst product I have ever purchased. I cannot believe they are able to sell these. They break within a couple weeks of owning them. I have talked to multiple people that this has happened to. I always have to return them to the place that I bought them. It is an absolute joke.

    Awful

I had the Powerbeats2 for just over a year and the volume control broke on those. Very disappointed that a $200 product barely lasted a year. I do like the way that the powerbeats fit for workout purposes so I decided to get the powerbeats3. This was an awful mistake. I used the powerbeats3 for less than 4 hours and then they died and would not charge or turn on. For the price you pay to get these headphones they should be made better than this. Don't know why beats can't build these headphones better. No product that costs $200 should break within 4 hours of use. Will not buy again.

    Terrible

Headphones last 2-3 months at best. First pair one side died. Second pair won't stay connected and when it connects briefly call is choppy. Defeats the point of using headphones. Overpriced. Don't waste your money.

    WORST HEADPHONES EVER

I've been through three pairs of headphones. They are NOT sweat proof. I only use these headphones to workout and about every month they just decide not to turn on. I'm on my third pair. For the price they are awful. The j birds will be my next purchase.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! DO NOT BUY the PowerBeats 2 or 3

I have had constant problems with the PowerBeats. after using them for a month, (heavy workouts) they will stop working and will not hold a charge. I have replaced them 3 times through the Corte Madera Apple Store. VERY Frustrating. Apple will not give me my money back. I'm currently searching for a new brand to use. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! DO NOT BUY the PowerBeats 2 or 3

    Doesn't last long

I loved everything about these but I sent them in on warranty once for inability to connect. Just a little over a year later, the volume started jumping around on its own, the on/off button didn't work, and eventually, the earbud came right off. They aren't made to last for the price unfortunately.

    Don't waste your money

This is the 2nd pair. I use them for working out - first one stopped working within 3 weeks of use. Apple took them back and sent me a new one. The new one stopped working within 2 weeks.

    Stopped working after 6 days.

Bought these out of impulse because everyone at my gym has them. Thought I'd try them out. In the first few days I had to charge them over and over because after leaving them over night and turning them on again they were at low batter. They never charged to full capacity. They day I returned them was when I was working out for an hour and a half and they just stopped working and the left ear bud become fuzzy. (Note: I charged them before the gym) and once I got home they were at 3% battery and weren't functional. Waste of time and money.

    Poor Quality Product

I never write reviews but this is one of the poorest quality products i've ever owned. They volume button stopped working for up volume after about 9 months. Another month later and it had fallen apart completely. I was sent a replacement pair and 3 months in those have fallen apart at on the volume buttom as well. The most insulting part is they want to charge half the price and shipping for repair. I will never by another Beats product again.

    A faulty product

My broke within 60 days of use. I was at the gym and they just stopped working. The powerbeats3 breaking when coming into contact with sweat sounds like a very common problem based on all the negative reviews below. Apple told me they would repair my pair within 3 business days, and it's now been over two weeks and they are telling me it will be at least another week. In summary, this is a bad product that clearly doesn't work as intended. They claim the pair is water and sweat resistant, but I'll tell you firsthand that it's not true (so will the other 600+ negative reviews below). Instead of a picture of Lebron James on the box they should switch to some fat couch potato because that's apparently the only way you can use these.
