    Stay away

Bought these with high expectations. They met them, until I charged them. Took forever to get to connect then they wouldn't stay connected. Exchanged them for another pair at Best Buy. Same thing. Wouldn't stay connected after charging. Very disappointing. Made a good name bad, IMHO. Had to go to another brand. Jaybirds. Too bad. I liked the 12h battery life.

    Worst upgrade / buy ever

Useless during exercise. One single sweat drop on the control, and the headphones starts to adjust volume up and down automatically. Powerbeats2 was sealed in a rubber control, but in this version that seems to be forgotten. Do not buy if you plan to use them during a heavy workout!

Same issue as many - NO CHARGE after 1 month

I LOVED the powerbeats3 when I first got them - last MONTH. But they just stopped working out of the blue. They won't take a charge regardless of how I attempt to charge. I've always kept them in their carrying case when I'm not wearing them. I haven't even worn them working out much (so no sweat) - and they just stopped working. I was just told by Apple they're going to send me a box for me to ship the $200, one-month old headphones to be repaired. So I'm out $200 AND the headphones while they determine if they can fix...or replace? So lame...step up your game, Dre??!?

    Terrible

If I could give these beats a half of a star I would. They broke after 5 days of use, completely just stopped charging. These headphones cost to much money to be breaking so much. Will never purchase again.

    Not Recommended

I have had a pair for 3 months. There is some positive stuff. The battery life is better than a lot and the sound quality is OK but no better than that. The negative list is longer. The build quality feels cheap and flimsy, I will be amazed if they last a year. The connectivity is poor (I am not connecting to an Apple device). I am forever having to switch Bluetooth on/off reset device etc. The control on the cable has a mind of its own. The worst thing sometimes it just wont charge rendering the thing totally useless. After several days on charge it just springs back to life. The fit is not very comfortable and there are limited options to change it. If I could give the product back and get something else I would in a heartbeat.

    Don't last

I am a student so I would hope that an expensive pair of headphones could survive being placed in my backpack... but no, not the case. After only a year, pieces broke off (the front of the sound button and a chunk of the left ear bud). SO disappointing. Of course you have to pay 99$ to have them fixed by Apple when they are out of warranty.

    Powerbeats are BEAT!

Not worth the money... you can get the same reliability with two Dunkin Donut cups and a string. Mine are 6 months old, and at first seemed great. Then they quit charging correctly. Now they do not charge at all and do not work. I am out $200 for something that didn't last 1 year. BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!!

    Perfect for workouts

I got these as a gift and they were my very first pair of beats. As someone who does a lot of cardio in the gym, they were so perfect for sprints and I was surprised at how much I could sweat without them becoming too uncomfortable! The battery life was awesome too, and the wireless connection was always really easy and fast! Only downside is that everyone wants beats, and after having them for a month and a half, I left them on my treadmill to get some water, and boom. Stolen. Workouts really aren't the same without them!

    Great--when they work.

The headphones alternate between perfect performance and riddled with connectivity issues. . Pairing between the apple watch is becoming more and more of a problem. The same BT pairing/connecting problem exists with my iPhone and MacBook Air---and the problem is becoming more frequent. When they work it's flawless. But too often it requires a reset and/or "forget this device" pairing/connecting again. And even that sometimes doesn't work. I'd make the purchase again, but they really need to sort out the connectivity.

    awful Battery

This is my second replacement pair that has broken due to battery issues within the same year and now they wont even replace them a third time because I am out of the original warraty date although the same issue keeps happening. DO NOT BUY. Huge waste of money and honestly there are better headphones out there that wont break the bank

    Great... WHEN it works

Read some other reviews with same problem. I'm on my 2nd set, but today it seems I might be experiencing the same issues as the last one. I've had them plugged in to charge for 2 hours and still does not show fully charged. Last time this happened, the bluetooth connection constantly dropped for no reason and had to exchange after only 1 month. I've only had these just under 3 months.

    Worst product ever

Bottom line - don't waste your money on these. I just got my headphones back from being repaired. They started to shut off at 72% and had to be recharged. I just picked them up last week from the store after sending them in for repair and they literally don't charge anymore. If I could get my money back I would. Won't sell them to anyone as any further repairs would be futile.

    Battery dies

Great sound and love the way it connects to the iPhone but after a couple of months it just turned off and has refused to turn back on. So annoying as I am now without headphones that I know are comfortable for the London marathon. I will be asking for a refund.

    Great Sound But Dies

The Powerbeats 3 Wireless have amazing sound, but this is the second pair that just stop working. Ran with them yesterday and had a great workout. Tried to use them today and nothing. They won't even respond to the charger. Talk to Apple about the first pair and went through troubleshooting, and they sent me a new pair. Now I guess I will be getting pair number. This is disappointing. These are expensive headphones and should not stop working after 3 weeks. I bought the first pair in December and it is only April and I am moving on to the third pair. I don't know if I would recommend these to anyone for the price.

Great sound BUT won't pair or turn off!

I have had two pairs of these earbuds now and I love love love the sound and the feel of them BUT for some reason when I turn them on sometimes they randomly don't pair and won't turn off! I have tried to reset them and nothing works, all I get is the solid white light. I'm really upset about how much I paid for them and they don't even work right. Apple really needs to fix this problem...

    They last 13 months only

They worked great until a month ago, the left ear piece broke in half. Of course out of manufacture warranty apple won't replace or fix them unless you want to pay $99. The apple employee told me he has seen similar problems with this style. Buy them if you're planning on use them 1 yr only

Not sweat resistant, even from a girl

I was excited to get these as a birthday gift to go with my new iPhone 7. Was looking forward to having my first pair of wireless ear buds. These were very disappointing!!! The first week I used them for cardio they shut off in middle of my run (only a few miles, nothing crazy). I am now on my 3rd pair and yet again this morning they shut off 30 mins into a run... these are clearly not sweat resistant for cardio use - even from a girl!

    insultingly low quality

So after the gym, i went home and my music was suddenly becoming softer. I tried to increase the volume button using the buttons on this things and it didnt work. As an IT guy, i was testing if it was just buggy or other things devices do. Nope. It was faulty already in less than a month. I dont even sweat more than the average gym guy. So, dude. Seriously? 1st pair of beats and this is what I experience. And there are a lot of us apparently experiencing this.
