    Holy smokes.. Amazing...

The sound quality on these headphones is amazing. I can turn the volume ALLLL the way up on a song with a lot of bass and it won't irritate me or hurt my ear drums. A lot of people have complained about the fit. They are a little tight but not in a "squeeze your eyeballs out of your head" kind of way. If I have the ear pad placed too close to my temples, I can see how it would cause a headache. All I did was scoot the headphones back two inches (still comfortably on my ears) and that weird pressure sensation went away. For a few hundred dollars, these headphones are DEFINITELY worth every penny. The call/volume/power buttons are nice too. They don't "interrupt the design" of the headphones. You don't have to worry about accidentally hitting a button while adjusting either. Definitely love these headphones.

    Great headphones

Just received the Beats Solo3 this week. So far I am very impressed with the product. First of all, the packaging is super clean, and refined. The actual head phones sound great, and they come with a case and a wired option for charging (I believe), making calls, and controlling volume. The coolest thing about the headphones, is related to the central button on the unit and the ability to pause and play content on your device. In other words, if you are watching Netflix, or other, you can pause the program, and then resume by using the headphones. Nice!

Great Headphones for the Average Consumer

I recently purchased a pair of these headphones last month and I can definitely say that I've enjoyed using these. The sound delivery is what you'd expect from beats- a lot of bass. It's all about your preferences when it comes to sound and if you're one who enjoys songs with a lot of bass then these might be for you. Bottomline, I was impressed with the sound quality but it might not go the same for everyone. The design is amazing as they come in a sleek, streamlined design that will most likely catch your friends' attention. When it comes to fashion and style, these things got you covered. They're also very comfortable on my head and come in leather, plush, pivoting ear cups which are honestly SO COMFORTABLE and I'm not even exaggerating. You don't have to worry about them falling off at all. The on-ear controls allow you to take calls, pause/play music, raise/lower the volume, and switch between songs. This is a very convenient feature which I found very useful. Battery life is outstanding as you can probably go three weeks without charging them. Connectivity is a breeze as the new W1 chip makes the pairing process way easier. The Bluetooth connectivity range is unbelievable as you can walk over 150 ft away from your phone without losing connection. These, however, do come with their flaws as they don't incorporate a variety of sounds. Like I mentioned earlier, they tend to favor bass over everything. Again, it's all based on your preferences. I also noticed that they don't work in cold weather conditions. (-5 C or below). So these are basically useless when you're out for a cold morning jog. Overall, I liked using these headphones and plan to keep them. I would rate their performance an 85%. I don't think they're $300 good but I'd say for the average consumer you won't be disappointed.

    Great headphones

First of all - love the color, good violet tone, not too red, not too neon, slight metallic gloss.

I have been using solo2 (free with new iMac) for a few months and really liked them. They have decent battery and range. But the Solo3 blows them out of the water. Used the new 3s for several hours 2 days in a row and still have 80% battery left. I dock my iPhone (7+) in the far front corner of my house (1000 sq ft). With the 2s I could go to the opposite back corner and not drop out, with the 3s I can go to the far opposite edge of my YARD and not drop out. That means going through three inner walls and the outer brick wall. Setup is easier than making toast and I love how I can go from source to source - iPhone - iPad, etc..

The fit is fine and comfortable, good for hours on end. Even use while tracking watch exercise on the elliptical - tho I expect in the heat of the summer I may experience some sweating then. When I got the 2s for free I (obviously) thought it was a good deal but did't think I would ever actually pay for them. And now, expecting my first social security check next week, I do not in any way regret my purchase. And I could have gotten a black pair for $80 less at Costco. Great retirement gift to myself.

How to improve? Wish there was a back/forward button on the left headphone like the shuffle so I could go back 15 seconds in a podcast or audiobook (for when my attention wanders). But it is easy enough to do through my Apple Watch. And given the number of iDevices I have, a lightening port for charging would be handy, but the USB is OK too. Since so many other accessories I have use that, I keep an open charging cord hanging out at all times next to the lightning charging cord.

    Love them!!

Comfortable to wear all day and awesome sound. The color was a major selling point as I love purple but the product is good. Also I listen to Apple Music while I work and the headphones didn't drain my actual phone battery like normal. Very happy!
