    Worth every penny.

So I was a bit unsure if I would see the value in this product.
I’ve lived with the Leather Sleeve for several weeks now. The quality and workmanship of the leather is phenomenal.
Certainly up there with the finest luxury brands. Recommended

    Excellent quality

I bought one of these while in the US. Very expensive, especially if you have to pay European VAT, but the quality is excellent. The leather is thin and light, so doesn't take up much bulk, but it's of high quality, very soft but sturdy and will protect the iPad from scratches when carried inside another bag. I always use my iPad without an attached cover so as to feel the design of the product itself, but according to other users this sleeve will also fit if you have a smart cover or keyboard attached. The fit is slightly loose without one, but I don't really worry about it falling out (though I wouldn't regularly carry it upside down). I mainly bought this because I wanted a sleeve with an integrated holder for the Apple Pencil, so I wouldn't lose it or have to remember to carry it around, and this seems to be the only option at the moment, but it does the job with perfection: holds the Pencil very securely, but it's also easy to take out. It's a pleasure to use and feel. If you can afford it, this is a worthy investment.

Very lightweight - not for serious protection

Think of this as a folder or envelope for your iPad/Pencil. It fits an iPad with Smart Keyboard very nicely, and the material is great.

    Functional

It is a thinner type of leather, but not too thin. I like how I can lay my ipad ontop of the sleeve when I'm working (like a mat) so the back doesn't scratch against the table/surface because I personally don't like having cases. It's a high price point, but it is good quality and functional.

I don't see what the fuss is about ... this is great

After buying several bags for my past iPad Pro Retina 9.7, I took the gamble and bought this one in saddle (brown) color. I needed something that held the pencil and so far I've been pleasantly surprised. This offers protection, holds the pencil, and very flexible (read: non-stiff). I like it.

    Excellent and classy

I've had this about a week and love it. It's light weight, thick, and classy. What's even better; it fits with the Smart Keyboard too. For some reason Apple stopped priducing the iPad silicone cover, I guess to have this? What I'm disappointed in, Apple making us spend $300 for a case. The leather could easily be $100. I do like how it holds the pencil, it's secure and definitely not coming out. It's also cool to take the iPad out, lay it on the leather case while I type too. 4 stars bc of the price. As of now, nothing else like it.

    Beautiful sleeve!

This is a great product. Smooth, supple leather, impeccably stitched. The Apple Pencil fits securely in its slot but is easy to remove, My new iPad with the leather cover easily slips inside. I'd imagine there's enough give for it to snugly hold the iPad with the Smart Keybkard attached, too, as other reviewers have said, I was at first disappointed that Apple no longer offered a back cover for the new IPad Pro, but the sleeve works nicely and holds the pencil as well, plus using the iPad without the added weight of the back cover is much more comfortable. A sleeve is a great idea. And this one is thin and light so doesn't add a lot of bulk. Only downside is the steep price, but I doubt you'd be able to find something this nice for less. It's really a luxury product. It will be interesting to see how the leather ages and whether it forms a patina.

Very nice leather, fits w/Apple keyboard; a little loose for ipad alone

Nice leather, love the pencil holder. The case is rather loose with only the iPad inside (the pencil keeps the pad from slipping out; watch out!). The iPad with Apple Smart Keyboard attached fits as well without forcing it. I do expect it will stretcht the leather a bit, making the ipad-only use even more loose and prone to slipping out. An nice clasp to secure the iPad in place would have been nice. Will be interesting to see what third party companies come up with.

Apple sleek, soft supple leather, and Apple slick.

I really like this sleeve. I purchased the black one, and I’m so glad that I did. It's a supple, really nice, soft leather, and it holds the Apple Pencil brilliantly. It fits with my smart cover, and also fits with my smart keyboard! It has some nice give to it – Meaning it has some flexibility. It will work beautifully traveling in my briefcase daily. It's Apple sleek – thin, very, very well-made, with a really sweet, rich feel to the leather. Even the stitching sharp. It’s impressive looking, sleek, and is Apple’s simplicity in design action. I may also get the blue one some day. It's not going to provide the protection that some big burly Batmobile-like shield-sleeve will, but for my purposes, it's wonderful. If you can afford it, give it a try!

Nice feel, nice quality, fits well

Price aside, this is a really nice accessory for the new iPad Pro. I got the one in black because it was available faster. The pencil fits in nicely, as does the iPad even with the Smart Keyboard attached. The leather feels great and doesn't seem to scratch easily. Unlike the other reviewer, I love the fact that this is a thin and soft leather, since it doesn't add much weight or heft to the iPad. I'll probably bring this and nothing else with me to meetings from now on; it looks clean and professional and with the pencil, I don't need a separate notepad. This isn't cheap, but at least when I pay a premium for an Apple product, I expect it to be high quality, and so far this sleeve delivers.

This sleeve is incredibly thin for $130

Like the title says, this sleeve is really thin, and I can't really see how its justified for $130. I feels nice and has a nice look, but overall not worth the price. You can get a custom leather sleeve for cheaper.
