    Broke right after warranty.

LOVED these headphones. Great for running, work outs, and school. However, I recently took them out of their case and noticed that the plastic part that connects the inner ear piece to the wrap around part of the headphone broke apart and only the little wires were holding these two pieces together. This happened just 3 months after my warranty ended =( pretty disappointing. For the price, I wish it was better quality and lasted longer than a year and three months.

    Manufacturing issue

I bought my beats just over a year and a month ago. I was very happy with this product however recently i pulled them out to find that the headphone plastic had snapped. I always treated these headphones nicely, putting them in my case. Really the only wear and tear they had was on my ear and go down to my desk and in the case. Never throwing them around in the bottom of bags etc.

Disappointed that they conveniently broke after the 1 year warranty. Makes me question the manufacturing of this product. After talking with Apple support they said there was nothing they can do unless I wanted to pay to have them fixed. Disappointing as I though this was a quality product.

Terrible Quality for the brand, price and expectations

I highly recommend to go buy from other brands as this is the worst Apple product I have ever bought in my life. The Powerbeats 3 are advertised as the greatest earphones and I was very disappointed in their quality. Only 6 weeks after they arrived to my home the earpiece that goes around your ear and holds the earbuds in place when exercising snapped off. They were kept in my pocket inside the “protective” case that I was provided with but they still broke on their own. Not only that but after immediately looking for a repair Apple denied me from a repair as they clam it was broken by me, sorry I did not know beats earbuds can break inside their protective case from absolutely no contact. Also the removable pieces that go in your ear to do noise cancellation detach from the earphones at any given time so it is very easy to lose them. As you’re holding them in your hand they can just slide off and since it was so easy for it to happen you will not notice it disappeared for a good time therefore loosing the piece. These beats were very poorly thought out and designed and customer service somehow managed to be even worse. Save yourself some money and buy from another brand, any other brand.

    Do not waste your money!

    - Fast & easy connection with Apple devices.
    - Battery duration is great, almost 12 hrs as advertised.
    - Bluetooth connection do not drop out.
    - Acceptable sound quality but not awesome.
    - Earphones never move out during your workouts.
    - Controls your Apple devices with the integrated buttons. You can also use Siri.

    - Not enought loudly. Several users have reported this issue on Apple Forums but there is not fix yet by Apple.
    - Battery stops working after two or three months of use. I have gotten a replacement twice at Apple Store.
    - They are not so comfortable for all ears. After 1 hr of use I got pain because of the pressure back of my ears.
    - Bad microphone integrated. Everybody I call tell me they can’t hear me well and I have had to disconnect them to continue the call.

I had the previous wired version and I liked it a lot, but this Wireless version has a lower sound quality and low volumen.

    Powerbeats3 wireless earphones- black

I have had these earphones for less than 1 year. i use them mostly for working out/ running and not even every day. i take good care of them, charge them regularly, etc.
since i have purchased these headphones i have had to return them for replacement/repair 3 times!!!... so at best, I have had working headphones for maybe half of the time i have owned them.
When they are working properly, I LOVE them. great sound, great fit, etc... but they are an unbelievably unreliable product. if I hadn't paid so much for them in the first place, i would just ditch them and go to another brand...
I appreciate Apple's customer service and warranty program so that I am able to get the replaced/repaired, but the annoyance and inconvenience is unfathomable. I do not plan to ever purchase another beats product.

They have really good sound quality, pair easily, and stay on well. Their battery life is lengthy and the quick charge is a handy/useful feature. The grey is slightly darker in person, but I like it more that way. Would purchase again. Do recommend.

    Rosetta Stone compatible!

I had read many reviews about the great sound quality of these earphones and I, not surprisingly, am pleased with the sound quality. But I had often wondered if they would work well with Rosetta Stone, language training software. I am happy to report that these work wonderfully well with Rosetta Stone. I have RS on my Mac. What I found, surprisingly, was that these (wireless) earphones actually "pick up" your voice BETTER than the plain/default wire apple earphones. To be precise: when the software prompts you to repeat a given phrase, the powerbeats 3 wireless earphones capture EVERY portion of what you say--the plain/default wire apple earphones often would seem to miss the first fraction of or entire first syllable of what you recite...the powerbeats mic seems to flawlessly capture everything. I was expecting the powerbeats to only be equal to that of the plain/default wire apple earphones but am pleased to find the powerbeats, surprisingly, work BETTER in that regard. So, if you are wondering if this product works well with RS or RS-like products, they do!
