    Excellent

I was impressed immediately with these headphones. The pairing itself was effortless, but I was a little worried on listening to the first song considering my previous experiences with Bluetooth headphones. Looking back, I had absolutely no reason to worry. The headphones deliver a wonderful sound quality. Best of all, however, was the noise cancellation. I was sitting on my couch while my family talked and watched TV, and couldn’t hear a word they were saying. The range is also exceptional. I can pair the headphones, and be anywhere in the house and have no disparities in sound. If you are on the fence as to buy the Solo3 or the Studio3, coming from a person who has heard both, buy the Studio3. The Solos have no noise cancellation, and they feel uncomfortable and awkward on your ears. The Studios cover up your entire ears, and (in my opinion) deliver a better sound quality than the Solos. They are $50 more, but for the quality difference it’s worth it, no doubt. Packaging was easy to take apart, and it was easy to understand. The one flaw I found with these headphones was the carrying case that came with them. The case is barely big enough to fit the headphones, and it would be great if the case could expand in size to include space for the charger and audio cord. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a pure sound and great functionality.

    First wireless headphones I love

    • Written by Carl R R from Portland

I've had various Jaybird wireless headphones and they were fine. Compared to those, these Beats are significantly better connection wise. I'm fairly certain that Class 1 Bluetooth and the W1 chip are what make these headphones fantastic. At the end of the day audio quality is important but I care more about a solid, fast, long range connection. With both my iPhone XS and MacBook Pro these headphones stay connected throughout my entire property. Through walls, inside, outside, second floor, etc. There is next to no lag so watching videos is pleasant. The volume and play/pause/answer button seem to work on both iOS and macOS. Beats have always seemed low value, but if these headphones hold up I suspect I'll stick with the brand.

Great sound quality. Intelligently blocks sound, so you can still hear car horns and traffic, but it blocks out airplane noise. Very comfy, and handy control on the side. Battery charges fast and stays charged for a long time. Fast connection to iPhone / Mac.

    Beats Studio 3

    • Written by Adrian H from Milton Keynes

Over many years i have used headphones and found very few to be worth their while, Up until now i have persisted with a pair of AKG 160's from around the mid 70's mainly for their comfort and sound quality. Now these studio 3's have topped many that i have tried. noise canceling is very good, only ever known this type of noise canceling on aircraft headsets. sound quality is the best I've ever had, battery time is extremely good, comfortable to use for hours on end and unlike many other wireless cans theres no blindingly bright flashing lights lighting up the place like a lighthouse. only con i can think of is mabe apple will introduce a lightening connection of future versions.
overall rating 9/10 (would give it a 10 if a lighting connection was there)

    Better than Bose

    • Written by Lasse Hammer P from Brabrand

I already owned the Bose QC35 when getting these, so here is my comparison between the two:

    - The Beats offer far greater wireless range and stability along with easier pairing and switching between devices.
    - They both have similar battery life with ANC turned on (~20 hours) but the beats offer 20 additional hours with ANC off.
    - The sound profile is different between the two, but they both sound great.
    - The ANC is good on both headphones. In my experience the QC35's ANC is eliminating more noise immediately
after being turned on, while the Beats ANC is supposed to be adaptive.
    - They both have similar controls on the headset but Beats also allow you to toggle ANC on and off.
    - You configure the Bose headphones through an app. The Beats are completely integrated with iOS like the AirPods.
    - Both have similar build quality. The Beats look better but The QC35's offer slightly better comfort. I noticed some ear/top of head pressure with the Beats.

In short: I prefer the Beats.
