Broke in less than 5 months

    • Written by Jo B from Harker Heights

WOW! These are by far the WORSEST Apple product I've ever purchased. The casing on the volume button came off and I was accused of breaking them myself because this" NEVER" happens with Apple products. I was given a quote to fix them but it would be an additional $99 dollars. The Beats only cost $200. Why would I make them at $300 pair of earphones then I was told my options would be to repair them, recycle them or have them return... RETURN! BEWARE AMERICA! BEWARE

    great at first

Got these in August 2018 and loved them. I used them for 1-2 hours a day 5 days a week. I am not abusive, and they did not come in contact with water or sweat. Yesterday, I knew the battery was running low but wanted to listen for 5 more minutes and run the battery out. Then I heard a SNAP and no more sound or light. The red light never came on when I plugged in the charger and it never charged. Tried all the tricks I read on the internet to no avail. I am so sad.

    Like Them

    • Written by Victor B from Cornelius

Personally I really like the beats I got them for Christmas last year and they have lasted me for a good while now. However I feel as if the wire could be more durable because having a sliver as the cords really isn’t the best idea because it can be easy to break and tear

Don't buy. These Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones won't last you very long.

    • Written by michael L from fort worth

I have gone through 3 pairs of these. Apple kindly replaced each pair when I brought them in under warranty. Now, I am at the point where they won't replace them anymore. It should be noted that these are advertised as "Sweat and water resistance provides the necessary durability for strenuous workouts and weather." They are not really, any bit of sweat on the control switch will cause them to short out and stop working. I've nursed my pair on along as I can. It's a bummer that a $200 pair of headphones don't work reliably. Check other reviews, this is a common issue.

Do not buy - Battery doesn't last more than 2 hours

    • Written by Guy G from Montreal

Bought a pair last Christmas, after a month of use the battery didn't last more than 2 hours. Returned to Apple who gave me a brand new set. However still same issue with the battery. DO NOT BUY

    Do NOT purchase.

    • Written by Francesca J from Tampa

I bought these less than 3.5 months ago and I was so excited to use them only for BOTH of the ear hook pieces to break off. It's really upsetting how pricey they are for such poor quality. Then on top of that, I brought them back to the apple store where I originally purchased only to have them tell me they can't do anything because there's physical damage. I am very let down. Also, the sound could be much louder. So all in all for the service and quality of the product 0/10. If I could give 0 stars I would. So disappointed.

Don't try to use these when exercising - they just completely stop working.

    • Written by Tom B from Dublin

Got a pair a little over a year ago - started using them when exercising just recently - they stopped working within a month. No lights, won't reset - nothing. Despite the celebrity-athlete-based advertising for this product, they don't seem to like being on someone's sweating head. Look at many of the other reviews - same issue. Don't waste your money on the Powerbeats3 wireless earphones - there are lots of other manufacturers who make a more reliable product. In the end I was very disappointed because, for the first time since buying a new MacPlus many decades ago, I purchased a product that Apple was selling and it just plain failed to do the job it was advertised to do - I wish Apple had never gotten into bed with Beats.

Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones, ear hang is broken in three months

    • Written by Ibrahim A from Knoxville

Sounds quality is good based on what you pay, however, you should expect one of the earphone hang broken in three months.

I brought to an Apple store, they said "this is a physical damage, we cannot do anything."

I paid a lot to have earphone, so I can use it for a long time, but It just was broken in three months. I am not crazy to break it intentionally.

    Not Worth the Hype

    • Written by Mary T from syracuse

Just bought a pair of these earphones thinking they would have awesome audio quality because beats produces them but the audio is not that great. The overall fitting of the earphones is quite comfortable and easy to use, but the audio is what brought down my opinion. To me, my airpods are better with overall quality and happiness with the product.

    Awesome and durable

    • Written by Erica C from Midland

I bought these for my husband last July and didn’t think they would last due to my husband being so rough on things. I’m very impressed that they are still going strong. He uses them for working out, cutting the grass and cleaning the pool. Has used them very often and if they can withstand him they are god to go!

    Love them

    • Written by Ashley Nicole H from Rancho Cucamonga

I bought these Beats about a couple of months ago and I waited to write a review to give my honest opinion about them and I loved them! They cancel out my family during car rides and I love how my music sounds while I’m using them. They are durable because I have left them in my purse on the floor and my sister stepped on them and they were as good as new and one time I even had them in my backpack that I threw to the ground and they were fine. I don’t know what the other reviewer did to break them so easily. I love how they aren’t in your way and come in pretty cool colors. I would recommend these to anyone and I’m even gifting some for Christmas. I am even considering buying myself one of the other colors because I love these earphones so much.

Would have given it zero stars but wasn’t an option

Don’t ever buy the power beats pop collection wireless earbuds from Apple. Piece of garbage broke less than a month having them. The volume up/down panel broke and they want to charge me $99 to fix it. The piece of garbage costs $199 to begin with and you want to charge me $99 to fix a $2 piece.

Buy something else instead. This isn’t worth more than the gummy buds you get for $15

    Absolutely not sweat resistant

    • Written by Ryan D

Broke after just 3 weeks of use. How on earth can you make electronic sports gear and have it not be water resistant? Read up on Reddit - this is a common problem with this model.
