Smart Folio for 11 inch iPad Pro

    • Written by Valerie E from Dolgellau

The case has developed a distinct crease and "bubbling" over approximately one third of the back cover within months of purchase. Possibly this has been caused by battery heat when charging, but there is no advice to eg remove the cover when charging the device.

I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone - it is far below the quality standard I expect from Apple products. Apple should really look at sending replacement covers. Does the product carry a warranty? It deserves a rating of 0 Stars for quality.

    Save your money

Standard and sleek cover but does not protect the new and expensive iPad Pro. I’ve always stick with Apple accessories but not this time- I dented my new iPad the first day I used the cover- disappointed but you can’t win them all. Hoping my review along with those of others will make a difference.

A little disappointing, could’ve been much better.

    • Written by Mehek L from New York City

A gorgeous case but functionally useless, it’s barely protects the iPad, my iPad literally fell right off it during regular use although the magnet at the back is advertised to be strong. This case would make more sense if they put some protection around the corners of the iPad to keep it from slipping off. The material also stains very easily.

    Does not protect iPad

    • Written by Christopher F from Minneapolis

I don't know why I keep trusting Apple for cases that have no edges to actually protect your devices.I had this case on my brand new iPad and dropped it from 6" and the corner is now dented. I mean, the keyboard works, but the case is functionally useless for protection.

    Edges peel of

    • Written by Nico M from Berlin

Good case, I like it, it stays secure, feels good and also covers the back. But the down side is, since they used a combination of micro fiber cloth and the rubbery material on the inside (previously just micro fiber). The rubbery layer peels off the edges on the inside, because if you use the iPad, the inside is now on the outside touching your hands. And because the case is just slightly bigger, by holding it the rubbery layer peels from the edges. You can hear and feel it. That’s not a high quality Design choice.

Very Happy With a Sound Folio

    • Written by Thomas K from Eaton

This cover clips on all by itself and though very tightly held, it is easy to remove. While the edges of the iPad are technically not covered the folio does extend a fraction beyond to provide some protection. The angles for watching movies and for typing are similar to the folio for the 10.5 inch model and work very well. The man-made material is easy to clean and is not worrisome like the leather one was.

    I like this!

    • Written by Rob T from La Crosse

I was a bit apprehensive when I ordered this product, but have to say I’m pleasantly surprised with how much I’m enjoying. It protects both sides of the iPad, and the pencil perches/charges effectively along the edge. It folds into its various position options quite nicely, and has a solid, no-wiggle feel to it, unlike the folio cover on my previous iPad. I was initially concerned that the cover + iPad might feel too bulky, but that’s not been an issue with me. I’m very satisfied with this cover.

    Waste of Money

    • Written by Marcia B from Waikoloa

For $79, I expected a full cover, not what I’d call half a cover. And it gets dirty and can’t be cleaned. I hate it

    Not worth it

    • Written by Andrea K from Qualicum Beach

This 120$ cover is inferior in quality, ineffective in use and Apple should allow returns for this not as advertised (smart) ?? NOT folio

    Feel taken advantage of....

    • Written by Ken M from Severna Park

For the same price my IPad Air had a beautiful leather case. Which is what I thought I was getting when I ordered....imagine my disappointment when I was confronted with the rubber coated monstrosity, feels awful, always cleaning smudges off it, feel completely taken. If Apple would take it back I would return it tomorrow. Charcoal grey color not good. So Apple if you like happy customers PLEASE take it back.

fine But standing up feels Wrong

    • Written by Kevin T from Denver

Coming from ipad air 2 the where the smart cover folds so that the OUTSIDE sits on whatever surface when you stand it up; I automatically tried to do this when i got this and it wasn't working - then i looked at the picture. What?? they designed it to stand on the soft inside surface. so weird and dumb. Otherwise it's fine; dunno if it's worth $80 + tax either. This is my 1st apple purchase that was not "regret" necessarily, but definitely "meh"; $15 amazon cover is probably better if not just as good
