    It's all about the leather

    • Written by Earl F from Burnsville

This case is the thinnest that I could find and still be leather. I like this case enough that I want another one. Regarding some the confused reviews, be mindful that leather cases take on wear in the ways that leather does, in an organic, natural way. That's the point. To many of us, there's beauty in the look and feel of worn leather. However, if one is worried over a few rubs, natural marring, or aging color uniformity, then steer clear of this material and get yourself a cold, hard plastic case.

    Nice minimalist case

    • Written by Justus T from Singapore

This was the case I bought on day 1 when I collected my XS Max at the store. Since then I’ve been going around looking for better cases that provided more protection (Mous), to minimalist folios like the Nodus Access Case III. None of them felt right. I actually liked the Nodus but the leather felt “wrong”.. The Nomad rugged leather cases had very nice leather but the case itself was too plasticky around the frame. In the end I’ve come back to this case.. I’ve rotated its use with the other cases and it has now developed a nice patina that I’ve enhanced with some good old castor oil. Other reviewers complaining about the leather turning dark in places obviously have no appreciation for fine leather goods that are meant to be used not displayed. This is the case that offers sufficient protection without being bulky, and is covered with very nice leather that ages perfectly. *One star deduction because I wish they had followed Mous and lifted the corners more while keeping the sides level with the phone for better swiping.*

Ok, the first feeling is that it is the best case ever. But de old aspect in cape cod blue it is the worse, it is not old, its like dirty after 2 months. IT IS A $50 case, come on, have some partes peeling off and apple say it is ok? I have UAG and tech 21 the cost the same and its fine. If i can choose other color maybe i give a try to black or brown. I can another review if apple give me for free a black for test.

    Color change

    • Written by Vinoth B from Charlotte

I would rate 3.5 star for the protection, but the case just fades out and changes color after 30days. The edges go black and looks so ugly. The worst part is you will start to protect the case instead of the phone. It is not worth the money and you will end up changing the case for sure.

    Love the color!

    • Written by Martin C from Maybrook

I've had their leather cases in the past and I've never been disappointed so when I got my new phone it only felt natural to get my next leather iPhone case. I originally went into the Apple Store b/c I was interested in the forest green case but, when I saw it in person, it was way darker than it appears online. When I started looking at the other cases this one caught my eye immediately since I haven't seen it before. Loving this color with my gold iPhone XS Max.

    Feels great, looks great.

Great colour. And you can get matching watch straps too. Might be time to upgrade to a new band :)

Much as I loved how thin and light the Xs Max felt, the worry was there it wasn't protected. Too much glass.

The shop where I bought the phone only had Space Gray. Would have preferred Silver but figured I'd add a cover at some stage so did it matter especially since all phones now are mostly black screens with only a small amount of side colour wrapping around.

Glass front still is a worry but then I've pocketed my 6s+ for three years without worry. Perhaps it's just sticker shock on the price of this phone. Or maybe I will try a screen protector too.

I almost bought the more expensive Folio cover. Talking with the Apple Store assistant helped. She'd had a previous folio and said every time she dropped her phone the flap opened. Maybe they need some magnets to keep it locked mid-flight to the ground.
