    Really, Really Good....

    • Written by Christopher R from Saskatoon

They hold well in my ears, and don’t move around no matter what kind of workout you are putting them through. I like having Siri close, and the case is a nice size to throw into a bag or carry on for hitting the road. I think the battery life is great compared to the size of the earphones. I haven’t tried making a call with the Powerbeats Pro.

The sound is really good, but not extremely loud. I personally like that because I can still pick up a bit of road noise when I’m running or biking. I LOVE being able to go with one earphone instead of two if I’m on a busy roadway.

If I want to be immersed in music I use my Studio3 headphones. When I want music while I’m active these are the earphones I’m using!

    Very Solid

    • Written by Eric R from Glen Mills

These things are awesome, for sure the best beats ear buds thus far. Super good sound quality, very sleek and the connectivity is totally seamless. Everything is perfect EXCEPT they are not very comfortable. If you’re planning on wearing them for long periods of time like me (i.e. at work all day) I wouldn’t recommend. Other than that they’re amazing.

Great fit, but phone quality volume is not too loud

    • Written by Brett B from Salt Lake City

Everything is wireless. Why not make wireless charging case for this newer Beats. Slight sound difference, phone quality calls are not too loud. I have volume up highest level. Can barely hear other end. BeatsX work great and PowerBeats3. Besides those few little areas, I think this product is great. Great fit. I wear glasses so its little work putting them around my ear. Eventually everything works.

    Pretty good

    • Written by Roshan B from Vancouver

My only problems with these are that the case is massive, they're a little quieter than I had hoped, and there isn't any "Find my airpods" type feature (I don't understand why since they have the same exact chip inside).

    Almost perfect for business also

    • Written by Greg Y from Cary

I’ve had the Powerbeats Pro (PBP) for over a week and they are great. They do everything they are advertised to do, so will not comment on that.

While PBP are primarily targeted for the gym/sport scenarios, there use in the business environment is almost overlooked. AirPods were marketed for the commuter/business scene, as you could hear your music/call along with the surrounding ambient noise. The PBP can do the same thing, if desired. All one has to do is attach a slightly smaller silicon earpiece, to avoid the “ear seal” option the PBP promotes.

The battery life for the PBP, makes it ideal for business. You never have to worry about running out of power with multiple back to back calls. In stereo mode you have ~9 hrs of batter life, while using the PBP one ear at a time (mono), you have more than enough power for the work day. For those with multiple iPhones, or iPads and Macs, the switching is as seamless as the AirPods.

I stated ALMOST perfect for business, as the PBP is lacking what I believe is a basic function, and found it hard to believe it doesn’t exist. With the PBP you CAN NOT MUTE a phone call from the PBP earpieces, you must use the iPhone. I contacted Apple support twice on this issue, and every one I spoke to was surprised the functionality was missing. There are references in some comms to “muting a call”, but this just means declining an incoming call.

The mute functionality should be easy to implement, simply add “long hold” functionality to the (B) button while the call is active. (This is what the Apple support folks thought it should be.) The PBP have good call quality and are very comfortable for long term use, as in multiple conference calls, BUT you need to keep your iPhone near to mute the call.

In closing, they are comfortable over the ear, the sound quality is good for audio and telephone, the only thing missing is muting a call, which could be beneficial in a both a business and sport scenario.

Hopefully, the MUTE functionality can be added with a firmware release.

    Love hate relationship 💔❤️

    • Written by clayton D from Brooklyn

I got a love and hate relationship they work good. My ears do start to hurt while wearing them. I change the rubbery thing that go in your ear to different sizes and that help but I still feel the pain. Battery life is really great and the sound for the music is ok nothing to go crazy for but it better to then the AirPods so I’m not going to complain. The case is pretty big but if you got a bag to put them in you should be fine. Over all I’m going to probably keep them. Hope my review help somebody my a choice to keep them, take care

Finally a descent beats for workout

    • Written by Jose H from APO

I have to say I was pretty skeptical since I when through about 15 pair of beats 3 since they kept dying after a 4 mile workout only and would never turn on. I have already ran a full marathon with these and they did amazingly for the whole run. They have few bugs like when you connect them to your devices sometimes they keep reconnecting to your phone even if you have tell them to do voice over CarPlay or even if you hit disconnect they keep connecting over and over. Also when you invoke Siri most of the time the voice come really low even if the volume is all the way up. Also they never turn off so that’s a good but also a bad thing.

    Great But With Some Cons

    • Written by Andy F from Bristol

I've had the Powerbeats Pro for a week now and overall I've very happy with them. For a start there's all the convenience of the AirPods: charging case so always ready to use, auto-pause, no need for a power button, easy connection to all Apple devices, etc. Sound quality is excellent. Unlike AirPods these earbuds are very secure in my ears and offer much better sound isolation. I can't use AirPods near busy roads if I'm listening to podcasts or audio books for instance.

Although it's mostly pros for the Powerbeats Pro there are a couple of cons. Firstly, the charging case is large. This is necessary to be able to accommodate the earbuds of course. The 9 hours of battery life should mean I don't need to take the case with me, and if I'm going to be using these earbuds all the time I'm out I won't. I do have to take the case to the office though. Even though the Powerbeats Pro would spend most of the day sat on my desk the battery drain when they're asleep (if they are actually going to sleep, I can't tell) is excessive. Based on my tests I estimate that I'm losing 20% power per day when not in use. Hopefully this is a bug that will be fixed in a future firmware update.

Overall, these are still the best Bluetooth earbuds I've used, even with the downsides mentioned above.

    Crazy good quality!

    • Written by Raffaele F from Rexburg

I just got these amazing headphones. They work exactly like the AirPods but: they have a better sound quality, better battery time, a better grip and (for me) a better look.
I need to say that the battery life is better than the AirPods but it’s not 9 hours as claimed. And if need to compare them to the AirPods, I want to say that the AirPods are easier to wear and take off.

    I really like them, though.

    First impression

    • Written by Paul R from Newcastle

First impressions. I was taken by the weight, they are so light but still feel sturdy. Then there is the fit. As someone that wears glasses I was worried I would have an issue. Not the case. They fit well and continue to feel secure. Then to review sound quality. I want to say they are perfect but I can’t . I think this may be down to my own taste and previous devices. They don’t carry as much bass as I expected. However the sound is more equalised. I have tried different genres of music and the quality is equal in all. Even when listening to old tracks where there can be a deficit in volume. I haven’t had chance to use the other functions such as call making etc but I don’t anticipate any problems.

    Convenient, ok sound

    • Written by Brian H from Minto

This is my 3rd pair of Powerbeats after lebron edition 1 and Powerbeats 2. They fit well especially if you choose correct size buds, like previous versions they are barely noticeable in your ears and stay in place.

Sound wise these are nowhere near quality of studio 3, bass is not very powerful and seems dependent on how well songs are produced with newer music sounding better than old music.

I will use these when I go out and leave the Studios at home.

A better overall Soundstage.....tone down the mids a bit. But overall......WE HAVE A WINNER HERE!!! 5 Stars if the sound was a little more balanced and a wireless charging case!!NO REALLY $250.00 and its 2019 Come on Apple Hook is up with the complete package and include a Wireless charging case...Enough said now go buy a pair!!!!!!!!

Siri-friendly. Overdue, but worth the wait.

    • Written by Mark K from Darien

The pairing is effortless on iOS devices, but effort may be needed on other Bluetooth Devices. Some patience is needed before you're able to put them on and off regularly. Siri heard me well, and people whom I called also heard me well. Maybe noisy environments may be a challenge with Siri and phone calls though. Very clean sound but you need to make sure you're getting a good seal. The Siri-friendly Powerbeats Pro is Beats' long overdue entry to the Secret Agent Audio market (Truly Wireless). Although I can't give 5 stars, I'm pretty sure the Beats sound and Ease of Siri is worth of some attention. I'm pretty sure if all goes well, then Beats may be able to improve their Truly Wireless offerings and technology.

    • Written by Setwut T from Si as ket

I have been using this over a week. I found this is the great wireless earphones, it’s replaced my Jaybird x4. However, Sometimes the earphones keep disconnect itself (it disappear from my bluetooth list) from my iPhone (Xs max) and iPad pro. Then I have to connect and hold the button like connect the earphones for the first times.

    New design

    • Written by John H from Lowell

So glad they changed the design from the previous version which had the strap that held the volume button and controls wasn’t very sweat resistant the cover on it came off and was rendered useless hoping to see how this works out, these will work best over AirPods when working out unless you’re at the office and need something discreet

Better than AirPods in most ways....

    • Written by craig T from LIVERPOOL

I bought these mainly for the reason being my AirPods kept slipping and letting sound in when I was at the gym and was a bit sweaty, so I got these and they are so much better! Because of their design the sound doesn't bleed out so I think they sound much better. The charging case was surprisingly smaller than I’d thought from seeing videos of it but its obviously not as small. As the AirPods case but it never leaves my gym bag so its not a problem for me. 1 last thing I will say good about these is the battery life really is what they say and if I’m in the gym for 3 or 4hrs I have about 65% - 70% left so they will easily last 9hrs on a single charge.

So now the not so good things which might be down to opinion mainly and ear shape.... they fit in my ears BUT after a gym session I really do feel the strain on my ears so I couldn't wear them for much longer before needing a break. Also, with AirPods you can choose what tapping each AirPod does, but the beats you just have the same for each earphone which would have been nice to have had an option to change what pressing each button does, but its not a deal breaker and I don't regret buying these and I’m happy with them.

Great Product but disappointed with ear hooks and price point

    • Written by Sotirios K from New Britain

I have loved these things since the day I got them, sound quality is perfect and of course with the Powerbeats line, they have the ear hooks that keep them in your ears, unfortunately I had to return my first pair because of some unfortunate cosmetic issues and noticed that the ear hooks had a problem going towards the center but I didn't mind it and it didn't bother me, so just left it alone, but on my second pair, the sound quality was perfect like the first pair but the ear hook on the right Powerbeat was going to the right more, but honestly still doesn't bother me, overall great product, magnificent build quality but a steep price tag.

Fantastic everyday use as well as workouts

    • Written by Ned B from Hummelstown

I wanted AirPods, but they fall out of my ears too easily. As a second option, I got the Powerbeats Pro and they have been more than what I wanted. They fit great, have a much better seal and sound than the AirPods, and the buttons give you lots of versatility. They are also great for calls! I would recommend them for anyone who AirPods don't fit and wants more passive noise isolation. The case is bulky, but still fits in my pocket

    Surprising sound quality

    • Written by Chase M from Colorado Springs

I’ve had a lot of beats and these earbuds are priced well with good quality. After 5 minuets I forgot they were there. The Bass is noticeable and everything sounds balanced. Compared to the Beats Pro Wireless these seem like a steal, of course great for activity. The play pause button is annoying because it pushes the earbud into your ear, thankfully the button takes a light tap so it’s not bad.
