Q: Can you track annual running data from Apple Watch?

Okay - I just figured out a way to get annual data.  If you go to the Activity App and then go to Workouts, you can see 2016 data.  There is not an annual total, but there are monthly totals so you just have to add 12 numbers.  Easy enough.

Annual iCloud storage plans

We introduced monthly storage plans and pricing on September 16, 2015. With these monthly plans, you might be able to increase your storage or reduce the cost of your plan. After you select a monthly iCloud storage plan, your existing annual plan is canceled and you're charged the prorated cost (the cost of the higher-tier plan minus the prorated cost of the previous plan). Your plan upgrades immediately, and the new monthly payment date updates to reflect the date of your new plan. Your storage plan is billed every month, unless you cancel by downgrading your storage plan. If you don't switch to a monthly plan, your  annual plan continues to renew on your original purchase date. Find out which iCloud storage plan you currently have.

Numbers for iCloud: Common arguments used in financial functions

Common arguments used in financial functions This topic provides information about arguments used in the financial functions. This topic doesn’t include information about date arguments (first, issue, maturity, and settle) or arguments that are used only by a single financial function. Some of the terms used here are defined in Types of arguments and values. annual -rate Bonds and other fixed-rate, interest-bearing debt securities have a stated coupon or annual interest rate ( annual -rate) used to determine periodic interest payments. annual -rate represents the annual interest rate, whether it is called a coupon rate or an annual interest rate. annual -rate is a number value and is entered either as a decimal (for example, 0.08) or with a percent sign (for example, 8%). annual -yield Bonds and other interest-bearing and discount debt securities have a yield ( annual -yield) that is calculated using the coupon interest rate and the current price of the bond. annual -yield represents the security’s annual yield, which is commonly stated as a percentage. annual -yield is a number value and is entered either as a decimal (for example, 0.08) or with a percent sign (for example, 8%). annual -yield must be greater than 0. Assume that you are considering buying a particular bond. As the price of a bond goes down, its yield goes up. Conversely, if the price of the bond rises, its yield decreases. Your broker checks the pricing screens and tells you that the bond you are considering has a coupon rate of 3.25% and an annual yield of 4.5%, based on its current price (the bond is trading at a discount). annual -yield would be 0.045. cash-flow Annuities, loans, and investments have cash flows. One cash flow is the initial amount paid or received, if any. Other cash flows are other receipts or payments at a specific point in time. cash-flow is used to represent an individual cash flow. cash-flow is a number value, usually formatted as currency. A positive value represents income (cash inflow). A negative value represents an expenditure (cash outflow). For the NPV function, cash flows must be equally spaced in time. Assume that you plan to buy a townhouse, rent it out for a period of time, and then resell. The initial cash purchase payment (which might consist of a down payment and closing costs), loan payments, repairs and maintenance, advertising, and similar costs would be payments (negative cash flows). Rents received from tenants, tax benefits received through a reduction of other taxes, and the amount received upon sale would be receipts (positive cash flows). cost The initial cost of the asset to be depreciated is generally the purchase price, including taxes, delivery, and setup. Certain tax benefits may be deducted from the cost. cost is used to represent this amount. cost is a number value, usually formatted as currency. cost must be greater than 0. Assume that you buy a new digital copy machine for your office. The purchase price of the copy machine is $2,625 with tax. The vendor charges $100 to deliver and set it up. The copy machine is expected to be used for 4 years, at which time it is expected to have a resale value of $400. cost would be $2,725. days-basis There are several different conventions used when counting the number of days in a month and number of days in a year to determine interest on a loan or investment. days-basis is used to indicate how days are counted for a specific investment or loan. days-basis is often defined by market practice and may be related to a particular type of investment. days-basis may be specified in spreadsheets related to a loan or investment. days-basis is a modal argument. It is specified as the number 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4. A value of 0 specifies that for purposes of computing interest, each full month will contain 30 days and each full year will contain 360 days, using the NASD method for dates falling on the 31st of a month. This is commonly known as the 30/360 convention. 0 (30/360 convention) is the default value. In the NASD method, if the day value in the starting date (for example, the settlement date) is 31, it is treated as if it were 30. If the day value is the last day of February, it is not adjusted, so in this case February has less than 30 days. If the day value for the ending date (for example, the maturity date) is 31 and the day value in the starting date is earlier than the 30th of the same month, the ending date is considered to be the first day of the following month. Otherwise it is considered to be the 30th of the same month, resulting in 0 days. A value of 1 specifies that the actual number of days will be used for each full month and the actual number of days will be used for each year. This is commonly known as the actual/actual convention. A value of 2 specifies that the actual number of days will be used for each full month and each full year will contain 360 days. This is commonly known as the actual/360 convention. A value of 3 specifies that the actual number of days will be used for each full month and each full year will contain 365 days. This is commonly known as the actual/365 convention. A value of 4 specifies that each full month will contain 30 days and each full year will contain 360 days, using the European method for dates falling on the 31st of a month. This is commonly known as the 30E/360 convention. In the European method, the 31st of a month is always considered to be the 30th of the same month. February is always considered to have 30 days, so if the last day of February is the 28th, it is considered to be the 30th. Assume that you want to determine the interest on a bond issued by a U.S. corporation. These bonds usually use the 30/360 method of determining interest, so days-basis would be 0, the default value. Or assume that you want to determine the interest on a U.S. Treasury Bond. These bonds usually pay interest based on the actual days in each month and the actual days in each year, so days-basis would be 1. depr-factor Depreciation factor (depr-factor) is used by some financial functions to indicate the annual rate of the depreciation (1 or 100% would indicate straight-line depreciation). depr-factor is specified as a decimal number or as a percentage (using the percent sign). The higher the number, the more rapid the depreciation. For example, if a depreciation rate of twice the straight line depreciation is desired, use 2.0 or 200%. Assume that you buy a new computer. After talking to your tax accountant, you find that it is permissible to depreciate the computer on an accelerated basis. You decide to use a depreciation rate of 150% of straight-line depreciation, so depr-factor would be 1.5 or 150%. depr-period Depreciation period (depr-period) is used by some financial functions to indicate a specific period for which depreciation should be calculated. depr-period is specified as a number representing the desired depreciation period using the same time frame (for example, monthly, quarterly, or annually ) as life. depr-period is a number value and must be greater than 0. Any decimal (fractional) part of depr-period is ignored. Assume that you buy a new digital copy machine for your office. The purchase price of the copy machine is $2,625 with tax. The vendor charges $100 to deliver and set it up. The copy machine is expected to be used for 4 years, at which time it is expected to have a resale value of $400. To determine the depreciation for the third year, use a depr-period of 3. ending-per The ending period (ending-per) is used in financial functions that return principal or interest for a series of specified payments or return depreciation over a specified time interval. ending-per is used to indicate the last period to be included in the value returned. See also the discussion of starting-per. ending-per is a number value and must be greater than 0 and greater than starting-per. Assume that you are purchasing a home. The mortgage broker offers you a loan with an initial balance of $200,000.00, a term of 10 years, an annual interest rate of 6.0%, fixed monthly payments of $1,070.45, and a balance to be refinanced at maturity of $100,000.00. To determine the total amount of interest paid in the third year, use a starting-per of 25 and an ending-per of 36. estimate An estimate of the expected outcome may be needed by some financial functions in order for the function to be able to return a result. estimate is used to represent the initial estimate of the rate of return. estimate is a number value and is entered either as a decimal (for example, 0.08) or with a percent sign (for example, 8%). If the default value does not result in a solution, try a larger positive value. If this does not result in an outcome, try a small negative value. The minimum value allowed is –1. If estimate is not specified, 0.10 is used as the default value. flows-range Internal rate of return functions require a collection of cash flows (flows-range) as an input. flows-range holds or references this collection. flows-range is a collection containing number values. Income (a cash inflow) is specified as a positive number, and an expenditure (a cash outflow) is specified as a negative number. There must be at least one positive and one negative value included within the collection. Cash flows must be specified in chronological order and equally spaced in time (for example, each month). If a period does not have a cash flow, use 0 for that period. frequency An investment or bond may pay interest on a periodic (the frequency of payment) basis. frequency is used to indicate how often interest is paid to the holder of the investment or bond. frequency is a modal argument. It is specified as the number 1, 2, or 4. If interest is paid once a year, frequency is annual (1). If interest is paid twice a year, frequency is semiannual (2). If interest is paid four times a year, frequency is quarterly (4). future-value A future value (future-value) is a cash flow received
