Q: Trouble with wireless kit with intuos Pen & Touch and iMac with Yosemite

I got an Intuos Pen & Touch for Christmas along with a wireless kit that plugs into my iMac. I'm running Yosemite on my iMac. As far as I can see, the tablet works absolutely fine when connected to the computer with the USB cable provided, but when I try and use the wireless kit with a full battery it just isn't picking anything up. I press the power button and it flashes a few times then goes off. Also, it tell me no tablets were found when I click on this little icon in the menu bar it says
