When it happens, I close all the apps, shut down the iPad, wait a minute or so, and restart. Things are okay for about 20-30 minutes - then it starts acting up again. At first I thought I was having a memory issue and was encountering

I just got an ipad mini a few days ago, and I was expecting the 10+ hours battery life that Apple and reviews of the mini cite. I just did a test of my battery life and found that in 10 minutes my battery went from 100% to 95%. In a second test, it went from 93% to 90%. At those rates, it would deplete in somewhere between 3 and 5.5 hours. Actual use has also indicated that my battery life is very poor. After using the iPad for web-browsing and updating my iCal calendar for about 2
My Lenovo ThinkPad T420s has 3 powered USB ports; two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0. All three successfully charge my iPhone and iPod Touch with both their original and aftermarket 30 pin USB cables. My husband's iPod 5 charged just fine on my PC with its Lightning cable. However, the iPad Mini will not charge on any of the ports using either my or my husband's Lightning cable. The Mini only charges from the wall outlet charger. The Lighning cable works fine with any of these same USB ports
