Q: Phillips Hue and HomePod

Consistently when asking Siri on HomePod to shut off or turn on lights on the Hue system, I get a response that "some of your devices are not responding" or "I can't do that right now".  When I unplug and reset the HomePod and re-pair to home, the commands work for about an hour or two and then future commands revert to not working and getting the error statement again.   I have confirmed that they are all on the same network and are running the latest software.  Manually using the HomeKit App...

Q: Homepod and Hue

This is my second HomePod, had to resend the first one back due to network/HomeKit issues.  I have over 50 Apple products from Apple dating back to the 80’s. an ImageWriter, iPhone X, Mac SE, Newton 2000, and many many more.  I have had more issues with the HomePod than every Apple product combined.  The first HomePod connected to my Philips hue . The new one I just received will not. I have reset the router and hue bridge. It shows up on my HomeKit but my HomePod does not recognize...

Q: Homepod not able to control homekit with Hue lights?

My homepod seems to "think" it's controlling my homekit enabled hue lights, but alas it is not. For example, when I ask for a request "Turn on the lights in the bedroom" Siri answers me with, "Done." But the lights in the bedroom remain on. When I ask through my phone, the requests are correctly executed. Before I installed the Hue lights, I was able to successfully make requests on either my homepod or iphone.   I should note I have an Apple TV also setup on my network.   This seems like...

Q: Greenish/Pinkish Hue on Macbook Pro Display

My Macbook Pro 2013 13-inch starts up fine and runs okay, but after a while, a pinkish or greenish hue starts to spread depending on the color in the background. In less than a minute, the whole screen has this tint. I have tried doing all the hardware resets and the display reset, but none of them restore my Macbook back to its original state. Even on the screens of the hardware tests and disk utilities, the hue would still appear which may mean that the software has no problem. I think...
