      Seemingly designed to fail

I have owned every Iteration of iPad since they were launched, and it is my go to device for everything. I travel extensively and can tell you that the power of I have owned every Iteration of iPad since they were launched, and it is my go to device for everything. I travel extensively and can tell you that the power of iPad Pro can easily allow it to be used as laptop replacement and then some. But, I picked up the new iPad Pro at Christmas and was disappointed to see that Apple only offered the Smart Folio as a cover or the keyboard alternative. It’s slim, discreet and offers zero protection from falls or damage. Worse the magnetic holders are insufficient and the iPad can easily fall out or slip out of your grasp, and unfortunately it does. I also know a number of people who have had the same experience and have had to turn to 3rd party protective covers, despite not wanting to, in order to protect what is an increasingly important, and expensive, work and life tool. Apple if your reading this. Can we please go back to the good old days of having well designed Apple branded covers for our precious iPads? Leather for preference, but I will settle for anything that looks good and... works! Cheers.

      Minimalistic design that performs.

Magnets are very strong. Very similar to the strength of the pencil. This is not a case for rough service. I also own the sleeve sold here and paired togethe Magnets are very strong. Very similar to the strength of the pencil. This is not a case for rough service. I also own the sleeve sold here and paired together you have ultimate protection with little weight. Allow easy usage of rear camera by simply folding over one section of front cover. It stays folded so easy to use. I also own the pad and quill case. I use that case when I know I need to use my iPad in landscape mode where no flat surfaces are available. In addition I use one 3M ultra slim two sided tape on the back as a guarantee that the back cover will never pull loose. This tape ,from pad and quill, does not leave any residue on iPad and is reusable. So I can go from this case to pad and quill in seconds. Not to say it comes off easily. You can take the case and hold the front cover and shake the iPad attached to back cover and it will not separate without any tape. I do wish the edges were not so severe. They are not horrible just annoying. This color is a very light steel blue. Nice.
