It is fine. I recently asked my cardiologist if it’s safe to use my new iPad Pro and magnetic case - and Apple Pencil. I have a pacemaker.i was told it is ok. I have no effects from using them. Happy to say! Carol

The magnets on the iPad Pro must be six inches from your pacemaker. I can feel the change in my pacemaker if I get too close or use it too long. Both the pencil and the keypad have magnets that "MAY" interfere with your pacemaker - according to Apple info that comes with those accessories. I returned my pencil and keypad and was very disappointed the sales clerk didn't know about the interference. Definitely do NOT use the Apple earbuds with your iPad Pro. Even the medical companies will tell you not to use them. I had to buy the adapter so I can use my old plug in head set. The sales clerk didn't know about the earbuds interference either. I don't think Apple would bother to put this warning in with their literature if they knew it was safe to use.

Yes it can. I can’t post the link for some reason but is on the important safety info page on support.apple.com
