I have an external monitor that uses displayport ... can I drive the display from a 2017 iMac using one of the USB 3.1 type A ports?
Instead of using one of the precious two thunderbolt ports on a 2017 iMac to connect an external display, can I use one of the type A USB 3.1 ports to connect it using a USB type A to displayport cable?
