It does support the MacBook Pro with the dvd drive as long as you select that option when choosing your color and model of MacBook Pro you have. Hope this is helpful.

This particular case was built for the retina display macbook pro, which does not have the apple superdrive built in. So, no, it will not even fit on your computer. I recommend using the provided filters located towards the upper right of the apple store webpage, to find accessories and cases for your mac specifically.
