    1-Star only

The lens does not fit on my iPhone 7 Plus - I sent it back. No matter how much I moved it around... it projected a dark shadow on the edge of the picture (it covered the viewer/lens). So disappointing! Now I have to go buy a camera for my trip so I can take closeups.

Ruined my screen protector, the site states "Compatible with screen protectors up to 0.5 mm thick" not so ruined mine. WILL NOT WORK WITH A CASE. Does not state this in on the site. Can not use flash. Over Priced and disappointing. I will be sending this back. Really sorry that I had to give it one star.

    1. My glass screen protector cracked when I put the clip on. The instruction card says nothing about incompatibility with thicker protectors. You have to go to the website to get that critical information!

    2. You can't use the flash.

    3. You can't use a case - unless you buy theirs.

    4. The photos aren't any better than what the 7 Plus telephoto does. The wide angle is just a gimmicky toy.

    5. It's overpriced, especially if you have to replace your screen protector!!

    it destroyed my glass protector!!

was super excited to purchase this product for my photography days but it was all ruined after unboxing. on the very first try, it destroyed my glass protector!! now i have a damaged protector that needs to be replaced and i'm afraid to put on this S$189 lens on it again.

i've got the iPhone 6 version and it all worked perfectly fine without any damages on my previous phone. this is ridiculous. out of nowhere (although i can ask for a refund of the lens) i still have to fork out unnecessary money to replace my still-serving-well protector.

    Clip broken on first use.

Recently purchased the Active Lens Set for iPhone 7 (iPhone 7 Plus clips etc. included, not optional) to use on a trip to India. The clip itself, which has a seam along the middle, came loose and unstuck on very first use. It was not exceptionally hot (early March) but one would reasonably expect the clip to be useable in most weathers. The weakness appears to be a design fault which renders the lenses entirely unusable.

The optics appear to very good (at least as good as the best of the Aukey range of clip-on lenses, which I also use) but the product is ruined by poor clip design.

It is also worth noting that the product includes clips etc. for both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which represents a 50% redundancy (lenses aside) and an unnecessary expense for all except a few happy owners of both models of iPhone. At a smidgen under £120, that's a bit of try on, quite frankly.

One star, for quality of optics, entirely negated by poor clip design.

    Useless item

iPhone 7+ use two lens same time.
This lens only for normal zoom state. When iPhone zoom above 1.9x then you see dark black screen.
    No more.
