    False claims on efficiency

The Morphie charger seems to take 3 times as long to fully charge my iPhone 8 than the standard plug in charger. I’ve been using it now for a month to no satisfaction. With the wall charger I can fully charge my phone in an hour. The morphie takes at least 2.5.

    Stupid plug design

Working OK as a charger so far. Although will only charge my iPhone 8, no earlier versions. My biggest issue with this "wireless" charger, is the charging base which has a bloody long wire to the most ridiculous plug attached at the end. Some fool decided to design the plug so its at an angle , so that when you want to plug anything into the socket next to it, you cant.I can only use my double wall socket to plug in this charger. Bloody idiots

    Very Good

I purchased this charger for my iPhone X. Although this charger did not come with instructions, one would think that it would not need one. Plug it in, lay the phone on top, right? Not so fast! I wouldn’t dare carry my phone around without case protection. So, my shield of choice is the Otterbox Defender. Anyone with experience with this case knows that it’s not the easiest case to remove from your phone, although not difficult. Just for kicks, I laid my phone on the charger with the case still on and it charges right through the case! How cool is that? I’m not sure if keeping the case on during charging slows down the charging process, but it’s nice to know I don’t have to remove it!

NOW I KNOW WHY IT CAME FREE W THE PHONE -NEGATIVE 1000 STARS

    WIRELESS? I THINK NOT!!
FIRST OF ALL THERE IS A WIRE WITH A HUGE BASE SO YOU CANT USE YOUR PHONE AND CHARGE IT AT THE SAME TIME!! IF YOU PUT IT ON THERE ONN THE WRONG SPOT OR .00000005 MM AWAY FROM THE RIGHT SPOT IT WILL NOT CHARGE!! FORGET IT IF YOU HAVE A CAT THAT LIKES TO WALK ON YOUR BUREAUS AND THEY HAPPEN TO BRUSH BY IT AFTER YOU FINALLY FOUND A SPOT IT WILL CHARGE ON. ONE TOUCH AND IT STOPS CHARGING. NOT TO MENTION NOW IT CHARGES TO A CERTAIN POINT (80%) I THINK AND STOPS CHARGING SAYING ITS SUFFICIANT AMOUNT OF CHARGE. THAT MECHANISM FOR IT TO STOP CHARHGING WAS A GOOD IDEA IN THEORY BUT ITS STILL PLUGGED INTO THE WALL SO IF YOU PAY FOR ELECTRIC IT WILL KEEP CHARGING YOUR ELECTRIC COMPANY. FYI: ALL CHARGERS THAT PLUG INTO THE WALL WILL STILL USE YOUR ELECTRIC, THEREFORE CHARGE YOUR ELECTRIC BILL. WIRLESS MEANS A PLUG AT BOTH ENDS NOT A WIRE BETWEEN!!!

    Convenient but not perfect

The charging base is very well built, always charges on contact with no repositioning necessary and the rubberized texture holds your phone in place very securely. However, one of the biggest flaws in my opinion is the heat caused by the charger. I've noticed my phone (iPhone X) gets considerably warm during charging but it is not the phone itself heating up but the actual charging pad that gets hot which in turn heats up the device. I can't imagine this will be good for battery health in the long run. Lastly I have noticed that it charges ever so slightly slower than the included 5W charging adapter. I think this is caused by having a case on the device, I personally use the Apple leather case. Overall the product is very convenient but is definitely not without its flaws.

    IPhone slides off the charger

iPhone slides off the wireless charger. Not working at all. Waking up in the morning just to see, that my iPhone is laying besides the charger.

How did the plug get past any kind of tests

The charging base itself is fine, no problems with that.
The Plug though is ridiculously stupid. It’s like the thought “this looks cool, we’ll run with it” but they didn’t actually test it. The diamond shaped wall plug prevents any sockets directly next to it from being used. If you don’t have an adapter you can’t use more than one wall socket at a time.
If they fix the plug it would be a good product

Wireless charging base (support slow charging)

I bought mophie wireless charger for my iphone 8 plus, it does work as a charger. But not as a fast charging pad. It's even slower than the lightning cable from the phone. Some people said that we need to update to iOS 11.2. I did, and stil very slow. The good things are it works as a charging base, not slippery because of the rubber on the pad, not heavy, has LED light, and the design is simple. But again, why do they advertise about fast charging??? It takes so much time just to charge a phone. Disappointed.

    Don't waste your $

garbage product...worked ok for a month or two, but suddenly, it takes several minutes of orienting the phone just perfectly to initiate a charge (and sometimes it won't no matter how much I move the phone around). I bought a $12 knockoff on amazon that grossly outperforms this $60 piece of garbage

    Quality of Life Upgrade

This simple charger has made my days work better. It's not as fast as a portable charger I have but it still charges pretty quickly (with my iPhone 8 plus) and since I can place my phone on it at any time, it makes life simple. I was sick of every day having to recharge my charger as well as my phone even though I kept a spare. If I forgot, I'd be in trouble, let alone in the car. This takes all that trouble away. I love technology that works effortlessly.

    Best wireless charger I've used

My office uses the Belkin wireless chargers, so I bought the Mophie to see the difference. The Mophie charger never drops out and takes up much less space than the Belkin (it also looks way nicer). I have one in the kitchen and one in my room.

    So convienient!

I have had my Mophie for about a week and I love the convenience! You don't need the charger to tell you it's working, you phone will light up to confirm charging. Charges right through my Pelican phone cover and the black color is beautiful! I can place the phone [iPhone X] anywhere on the surface of the charger and it works fine. The rubber surface is good because it won't scratch or slide around. Great quality as well. Nothing to complain about. You may want several of these?

    Works great

Had this for about 4 or 5 months. To the people saying it stopped working suddenly, try restarting your phone and make sure your phone is updated. This happened to me, and that fixed the issue immediately. It has been working great on iPhone 8plus even with an otter box on it. Definitely have to make sure it's centered but it's much easier than dealing with a cord every time you want to use it. I wish the cord that plugs the charger into the outlet was a little longer as it's not going to get very far without an extension cord or longer power strip, at something like 3ft long. Aside from that no complaints yet.

    Not Impressed

I've been using it for almost a month and I've had my phone die over night more times than I can count. You have to put the phone in just the right spot or it won't charge. This means if for whatever reason you accidentally knock it or touch your nightstand and it jolts the phone off center - it wont charge. I've woken up with a nearly dead or dead phone at least 10 times.

If you want one really badly I'd wait until they get a better model out. I'm extremely disappointed in this and will be going back to my wired charger.

    Terrible purchase

If you don’t put your phone down just in the right place then it doesn’t charge.
