    Works amazing! But..

    • Written by Lydia F from Redwood City

It works really great! But only when I take off my Otterbox Defender Case for my iPhone XS Max.... that’s the only downside. But other than that, I don’t have any other issues for now.

GARBAGE - 7.5W Wireless Charging Pad

    • Written by Frank S from Scottsdale

I bought this charging pad with my new iPhone 8 Plus in May 2018 and only 2 - 3 weeks after its use would not charge. Apple Store in Scottsdale replaced it no questions asked. However, since June 2018 it has worked up until yesterday February 14, 2019. This product needs some serious refurbishing and design since both 7.5W wireless charging pads no longer work. Keep your money and do not buy.

This charger died after 40 days of use. Conveniently 10 days past the 30 day refund/replace deadline. Don't waste your money.

Received this as a Christmas gift from my sister. On the first day I noticed the back of the iPhone XS getting piping hot after only 20 min. of usage. Tested my son’s XS and his phone was also got very hot after placing on the Belkin pad for 10 min. Obviously this is not good for the battery and can degrade it overtime. I just think it’s abnormal for a phone to heat up like that. Decided to ask my sister to process a return with a Apple. I will stick to the conventional plug-in charger for now.

    1. expensive
    2. slow to charge......about 1/2 the time as wired.....which to be fair may be the same time for all wireless 7.5w charging pads.
    3. iphone XS will not stay in the sweet spot. subtle vibrations (i assume) in the wireless induction causes the phone to move out of the charging range because the phone (without a case) is slippery and the silicone of the pad is not grippy enough to prevent the phone from sliding. with a sticky case that may solve the problem. there is one position that the phone does not slide but it is tricky to find.

Works on my iPhone 8, but I have to put it right in the center or it won't charge. This requires a lot of precision, especially when I'm tired. Kind of defeats the purpose of wireless charging.

Admittedly this is my first wireless charger, however I expected it to be far less touchy. I bought it to have on my nightstand, however, in order for it to charge on the XS, you have to have it in just the right position. If you have your phone on silent as I do at night, the best way to tell if it is charging is to wake it up and check, or find the very little green light on the base. Given this was designed with Apple, I was surprised by these flaws. And for $60, there are tons of other options out there. For now, it will go to the office and sit on my desk instead.

    Average charger

    • Written by Dylan H from Singapore

Nice in design. However, it did not meet up to spec as mention by apple staff. Was inform it should take about 30 minutes to fast charge up to 50%. Sadly it did not perform. Place to charge and 30 minutes later , it was not even 50% charged. Is the product really charging st 7.5w? Plug to lighting cable is much faster.

Almost 2 weeks of using it, it looks nice. You shouldn't have an issue unless you use a thick case for your phone.

I bought this along with my new iPhone XS Max and It works great. Its so much easier to charge your phone without having to physicaly find your charging cable and plug it in, would definetly recommend buying this product for your iPhone 8, 8+, X, XR, XS and XS Max.

    Not bad...

    • Written by Kim G from Henderson

I didn't really expect much from this device when I bought it and I've been pleasantly surprised. It's much faster than the little 5w plug you receive with your iPhone, but nowhere near as fast as the bigger plug you receive with an iPad. But at 7.5w...it's acceptable. WISH it would charge my new iPad Pro and Apple Watch 4 but sadly, it doesn't...which is why I gave it 3 stars. I also do not like the huge DC plug this comes with; it's rectangular and almost 2 inches in length and it's not convenient for use with other devices plugged into a surge protector. The chord is an acceptable length and it doesn't unplug from the unit easily either. There are a few "sweet spots" on the iPhone XS Max that must properly connect with the base to initiate charging; however, it's easily found by placing the phone on the pad and then sliding the phone up or down to locate it. The phone makes a noise and the battery symbol turn green when it does. Also, there's a green light on the base that lets you know the device is charging too if you're ever unsure. Overall it's a good alternate charging device, I just wish it was capable of charging more than just my iPhone.

Works as expected in an elegant design

    • Written by marc S from Cottage Grove

It works as it should and it has no trouble charging through the Apple leather case for the iPhone X(S). It would be nice if it were a bit heavier but then someone would cry about it being too heavy. I do recommend it if you're wondering about getting a wireless charger.

    Disappointing Product and Support

    • Written by Jan H from Manly

I received this item as a replacement for the Wireless Charge Pad which died after 1 month.
After a week or so I received a shock, but seemed to be okay. It has now died as well, 1 month after it was received, and Belkin have not replied to my emailed contact sent on Sept 6. I have an 8+.

    Don’t waste your money

    • Written by blake M from Mustang

My brand new iPhone X which I got them at the same time goes dead tethering a hotspot if it is charging with this. I was at 24% battery and just had my HomePod connected playing music and within 35 minutes my phone goes dead while charging. Horrible what’s the point if you can’t use your phone at same time.

    Good accessory "but"

    • Written by Igor B from Richmond

I've had this charger for a couple of weeks now and for the most part I like the charger. What I noticed is that the iPhone X is temperature sensitive and will try to protect the battery. This seems to happen while charging wirelessly as well, the phone in my case stopped charging at 60% or 80% depending on the temperature indoors. When I pick up the phone, it's warm to the touch. This seems to confirm my suspicion. If your temperature in doors is higher than 25 degrees celsius don't be surprised to find your phone stuck at 60% or 80%. Try moving the charging pad to a different room with a cooler temp before exchanging/returning it to apple.

    Only Charges iPhone X

    • Written by Rob M from Fort Worth

I bought it for my new iPhoneX and it is great, works perfectly. However, I tried to charge an iPhone 8 Plus and it won't take any charge. Left it on the charger overnight and nothing. Given it works well for what I actually bought it for, I give it 5 stars.

    Clean cut product

    • Written by Ran B from Grand Prairie

The product is nice very clean very befitting for an iPhone X with the matching stainless steel look. I had hoped it would be heavier in weight to feel like you got your money worth. The price is not worth it. So 4 stars.
