Nice in design. However, it did not meet up to spec as mention by apple staff. Was inform it should take about 30 minutes to fast charge up to 50%. Sadly it did not perform. Place to charge and 30 minutes later , it was not even 50% charged. Is the product really charging st 7.5w? Plug to lighting cable is much faster.

    1. expensive
    2. slow to charge......about 1/2 the time as wired.....which to be fair may be the same time for all wireless 7.5w charging pads.
    3. iphone XS will not stay in the sweet spot. subtle vibrations (i assume) in the wireless induction causes the phone to move out of the charging range because the phone (without a case) is slippery and the silicone of the pad is not grippy enough to prevent the phone from sliding. with a sticky case that may solve the problem. there is one position that the phone does not slide but it is tricky to find.

Received this as a Christmas gift from my sister. On the first day I noticed the back of the iPhone XS getting piping hot after only 20 min. of usage. Tested my son’s XS and his phone was also got very hot after placing on the Belkin pad for 10 min. Obviously this is not good for the battery and can degrade it overtime. I just think it’s abnormal for a phone to heat up like that. Decided to ask my sister to process a return with a Apple. I will stick to the conventional plug-in charger for now.

Meh. Disappointed for sure. Will not work with my battery case.

As a charger for my XS Max, it works but as one reviewer stated, it seems to vibrate off and with the slippery phone, I’ve found it off the charger more times than I want, thus ensuring that my phone does not get charged.

At 7.5 w, it charges slow to me (I normally used wired chargers), You MUST have it placed just so in a sweet spot to charge.

I bought the battery pack XS Max case, thinking that this would charge that too since they are both Qi wireless charging. I thought they would be compatible, but that is NOT the case. So it is a real pain to have to pull the iphone out of that battery case just to charge my phone.

I had a rubber case on my phone before the battery pack case I bought and it did charge my phone through the case. But the phone must lay flat. If you have any protrusion (like a finger strap), the case will not work on this charging unit. Also, you cannot have any metal in the case (to connect to a magnet car mount for instance). That metal will block the charging unit from working.

This unit has an attached wall wired plug. There are no other jacks on the outside of this unit. There is a small green pinpoint light that glows if it is charging.

I would not recommend this unless you absolutely don’t like having a wired charge to your phone.
