    Sweat resistant??? Not really

    • Written by Christopher J from London

Pros - I’m happy with the sound quality and battery life.

Cons - The sound sometimes cuts out and the device disconnects from my phone when it comes into contact with sweat during exercise. Given this product is marketed as a sweat resistant sports accessory, it sounds disingenuous.

First off, I'm a hard of hearing. Bought those for running, and loved to listen some music. It was so cool and easy set up to my iPhone. Sometimes, that's thing on and off...WTH? I just lost Beat Powerbeat 3 Wireless in Atlanta for race! Oh well! I think the price too high because of live music on and off. Next time, I won't buying it with overpriced. Airpods could be my next.

Suddenly my Powerbeats 3 stopped connecting. I tried unpairing them from my iPhone and then trying to re pair them again, but now they won't show as discoverable. I used them the day before without issue.
I cannot believe such a "good quality" product goes to waste with such a short period of use.

    Poor build quality.

So I have had these for 14 months and the ear piece loop broke right out of the ear bud piece. Normal commenting use, no athletics. So after this short amount of time I have to pay another $99 for repair after paying $199 last year!? Nope. They don’t stay in the ears well, no matter which size bud cushion is used. Sound quality is good. My first and last Beats product. Not worth the price.

Great base, but only buy with an extended warranty as break via sweat

    • Written by Philip B from clovelly

3 pairs down now. Thinking of another pair as they have great bass, fit my ears well, the linking wire makes safe for cycling (vs individual buds).
BUT they die from the sweat. I use cycling every day, latest pair lasted a year and 3 days. Thankfully i paid for an extended 'replacement' warranty at JB Hifi so got the money back. Will probably buy another pair....but with the same extended warranty!
Also if they break under 1 year is a repair warranty from Apple which is more hassle

    Ear Gear Failed

    • Written by Peter M

The ear holder arm disconnected from the ear bud apparatus. Not able to reconnect. The cable lines easily frayed at the junction points just after a few months. The plastic alligator storage case is too tight and likely agrivated the above complaints. I replaced the unit with a competitor at $29.00, even better reliability.

I purchased these headphones and initially, I was satisfied with the sound quality. Nevertheless, one of the ear hooks broke and one day, while walking in light rain for a few minutes, they automatically stopped working.

    The sound sucks

I told my mom to buy me the powerbeats3 earphones for christmas and was so happy that she did. The powerbeats2 i had before were amazing and thats why i wanted the new ones. Once i started listening to the powerbeats3 i was surprisingly disappointed. The volume does not up enough, it always sounds low. Way to much too much treble with NO BASS. The reason i bought the powerbeats3 was because my powerbeats2 sounded like an experience. My powerbeats2 sounded like i was in the studio or a club everytime i listened to them. HOW DOES BEATS BY DRE HAVE NO BASS????? I am so mad my mom got these for me and had to ask her for the reciept to take them back so i can get the powerbeats2 again. Hopefully i can take these back and get the money back. The sound quality on these powerbeats3 is like buy a $50 pair of headphones for sams club or something. I am so dissapointed. Everytime i listen to music on them it gets me mad because it sounds below regular and doesnt give me the full music sound that beats was made famous for! Do not sacrifice sound for battery life. I buy headphones for music sound not not for talking on the phone and stuff. Thats just a plus. Get it right next time please. I really want to like these.

    Broke Under 6 months

Would use headphones everyday, great sound when they are able to stay in your ear... After constant readjustments during workouts and regular walking throughout my day, one of the "hooks" has just broken off. Quite disappointed with the quality of these headphones considering their price. I had them only for a few months

    Not satisfied

They kinda suck, within 5 months the wire for the war piece broke though the rubber on left ear piece, 2 months later the piece that wraps around your ear completely fell off. I don’t use them often either. Structure quality is poor, sound is good though
