    This dock works. Period.

    • Written by Marco S from New York

This product is sleek and it serves it's purpose. I haven't had any of the issues mentioned here with my dock, I got it for my office and it's just perfect! When the phone is docked is certainly not buckled up for space flight but it doesn't have to be, the phone stays in place and charges every single time (mine has an Apple silicone case), I don't have to wobble it around or anything.

The reason why I got it despite the poor reviews is because this is the same dock that Apple uses in stores, do you know how many times those phones get docked and undocked in just a single day? Give me a break, people lack common sense. The description on the product is very detailed so I'm surprised that people were expecting something different when they bought this.

If you're having second thoughts take some time to read the bad reviews, you'll identify a pattern on them, it's a human condition...

    Doesn't work

    • Written by Daniel K from Luxembourg

Since the beginning it didn't work very well (iPhone connecting/disconnecting all the time) now it stopped working completely. Actually the little metallic contacts on the integrated lightening connector seem to disintegrate or fall off. Some of them are completely worn and there is no more metal - so obviously it can't work. I tried fixing it by soldering a tiny drop onto them but that didn't work. I'm over warranty so i guess that's it.

Such a bad quality is not acceptable for this price.

Does not work with slimline SUPCASE

    • Written by Cathy D from Garran

Bought this dock to tidy up my bed stand and keep from having to scramble with the charger cord each night. Doesn't charge, the case - even though one of the slimmest around - is apparently preventing connection being made. $75 down the drain.... not to mention that I had to destroy the box it came in to get the dock out of it (it was glued real tight). Just. Useless.

    Keep your money

    • Written by Jacob J from Inver Grove Heights

The product has been working great for the past year or so that is until recently. When I plug my phone in at night it says it’s charging so I don’t worry about it and go to bed. This is only to wake up the next morning and find out that it wasn’t charging at all. I’ve tested other cables and they work just fine. I would’ve expected more from a $50 charger and from Apple.

If there was a no star review it would still be too generous.

    • Written by Roc B from DELTA

Wow what a misfire for this amazing company. Broke my connection in the phone in days. No support other than the connection port and just not sufficient. The brains behind this one is all estectic and it has that for sure but functionality...not a hope. Those that gave it a positive review beware!!

Great doc but has it's limits

    • Written by Daniel E from Novi

Doc is Great for a desk and listening to music in the kitchen while cooking. But the doc won't work with a Mic supported aux cord plugged into the headphone jack. You will get tons of statch and feedback. The only way to use Mic supported aux cords is to use the headphone adapter that comes with your iPhone 7 and up and plug the adapter into the lighting port. Which means I can't charge and talk on the phone unless I use Bluetooth headphones. Which makes this doc very limited when it comes to wired in devices that use a mic. Come on Apple this is such a cheap fix.

    JUNK

    • Written by Michael Y from Sherman

Just plain junk. Negative star rating - equivalent to 5 BLACK HOLES!

    1. Overpriced.
    2. Won't work with anything other than a Lightning Cable.
    3. Tips over - bad design.
    4. Inconsistent charging.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I am going back to Android.

    Failed Twice...

    • Written by Johnny K from Rochester

The dock is wonderful... when it works. After spending $50 on the dock it failed after a couple months, Apple wonderfully replaced it free of charge after visiting the genius bar. about 2-3 months later it failed again.. Back to just using the out of the box lighting cable.

    WOW!

    • Written by Myles H from Clearwater

This dock is like the bestest thing ever! The only bad thing is you have to take some cases off of your phone to charge it. But otherwise it is PERFECT.

    Disconnect / Reconnect

    • Written by Frank L from San Francisco

About every 4th or so, the dock connects and disconnects every few seconds or so, with my phone doing the tell-tale buzz that it just docked each time it reconnects.

It appears that rebooting the computer it is plugged into fixes it sometimes.

    Sometimes the dock works great.

    I wouldn't buy another at $50 bucks.

    perfect product!!!

    • Written by Hadeel A from London

this product is excellent because its really cool when it stands up all alone especially when you need to do something on your IPhone you can check while it standing. plus I know how people are saying its not worth it because its almost £50 which is a bit overpricing but I think its a really cool and good device, it also looks good as a accessories.

Charge and listen to music...just not with the latest headphones

    • Written by Jason G from London

I purchased this lightning dock so I could charge my phone and continue to listen to music at the same time. Absolutely ridiculous though that Apple has decided to use the old headphone jack when the it's been done away with in the new iphones, forcing you to have two sets of headphones - 1 for use while charging and 1 for use while on the go. Definitely not worth the £49.00.

    Terrible design. Very wonky!

    • Written by Keith M from VANDERGRIFT

Tips over a lot. This is a very awkward design. Dont plan on keeping it anywhere around anything because the iPhone is very unstable in the dock. Its only held by the lightning connector, and that itself, is very scary. Not typical of apple to put out such a rushed design. I feel this could have been evaluated and revised. Im sending the one that I got today, back.

    Doesn't work consistently.

    • Written by Dawn N from Westerville

The doc is a horrible design. When I'm using the dock with earphones, which is why I bought the dock, the phone often times acts like there are no earphones plugged in. It is inconsistent in making the connection with my earphones. This was the only option for charging and using earphones when I purchased my new iphone. I ended up purchasing a non-Apple adapter that has 2 lightning ports which works consistently without problems.

Useless for the current iPhone 7 and included Lightning earbuds

    • Written by Joel B from Egg Harbor Twp.

I'd like a dock that allows me to use charge my iPhone 7 while using my included Lightning earbuds (or the nice pair of Audeze Lightning IEMs i bought recently). But this dock does not support Lightning headphones, only the old standard 3.5mm analog headphones. How backwards is that? Apple should have had a Lightning-earbud-capable dock available with the launch of the iPhone 7; still selling this as their standard dock is embarrassing.

    Not Universal

    • Written by Grisela F from Miami

Bought the item along with the iphone 7 + as a birthday gift for my wife. Bought a very protective case not the garbage they sell in the store.
When we got home and tried to set up her pretty pink phone on the doc lo and behold it wouldn't attach because the case is just a millimeter bulkty.
Will return the doc before returning the case.
