    I returned mine

    I received these on Wednesday March 27. Two days after, I noticed the left AirPod doesn't charge properly. AirPods where in the case all night long and in the morning the case was charged 100%, the right AirPod 100%, and the left AirPod 75%. Last night I left 100% charged AirPods and the case on my desk. This morning I found the case 100%, the right 100% and the left 35%. I decided to return it.

    They don’t work with Skype (for business)

    The AirPods work just as covered by most reviews (perfect functionality as long as you stay within the Apple ecosystem, sound that would be average if they were £15 headphones) but there is one major flaw - although they will pair with a Windows 10 laptop they will not work with Skype (for business).

    This may not matter to you but as using them for conference calls was one of my main use cases I sent them back.

    The Skype issue is not well advertised, but is documented if you search for it.

    I got these 2 days ago and they were working wonderfully at first. The first night I had them, music started to play out of only one ear in stead of both. No problem I thought, I’ll just reset them. And boy was I wrong. I followed the instructions and went to reset and was stuck in pairing mode for the whole night! The next morning I was about to return them and get my money back, but thought I should give them another chance. Sure enough, when I went to connect them, they connected. Great!! They worked perfectly the rest of the day. The third day comes and they are working just as well as the day before. The night comes and while I’m listening to music, the music pauses and plays again only coming out of one ear. Ok, I know what to do. Just reset them. Same problem as before, stuck in pairing mode!!!! I’m furious!! I plan on returning these as soon as possible. I might give the ones without a wireless case a try. My hopes are not high at all.

    the first time I tried them it was like going to heaven did her nothing but when I wanted to you would just put the hearing aid Fecher and then you could hear everything around you or your cloud just turn the Airpods volume down but they are the best

    I returned Mine

    I received my pairs on 4/4/2019 and I had to return them after one week of usage.

    The right side one is always depleting much faster than the left one. I kept using them for a week to just confirm the situation.

    I forced my iPhone to forget them and pairing again. The same issue kept the same. I had to return them after confirming that the issue happened each time after full charge.

    Not good for working out/too large to fit snugly in your ear

    I should have known better - the plug in earphones that come with the iphones never worked in my ears - always waaaay to big, like they were made for a very large man with huge ears. But I needed to headphones so bought these. When I go on a run I am constantly pushing them back into my ears and they have even fallen out of my ears on a run. When I'm locked into my Peloton bike and one falls off you can imagine the pain it is to click out of the pedal, stop your workout and retrieve the ear pod. I am hoping I can return them for something else. Apple - please make your headphones either in different sizes and don't advertise people exercising with these on because they don't stay in. They are best for sitting down listening to a book or something like that.

    Good but not great

    I love apple products, and I was really excited to try out my airpods when I first got them. To my surprise I was very disappointed in them. They have a unique shape and are easy to connect. I could ask Siri something without having to old down my off button or anything and the tapping features on the airpods also worked without any problems, but in the end they don’t live up to all the hype around them. I’m not trying to hate on Apple, but the sounds quality on my other headphones that are not Apple headphones are way louder than the airpods. I can put the volume up half way on my airpods and they won’t be as loud as my other headphone. I asked a bunch of my friends and family to listen to the different to see if it was just me, but they all ended up agreeing with my statement. I love you Apple, but I won’t recommend these to any friends or family unless the sound on the airpods improves or unless they have terrible headphones and it’s worth it for them to get the airpods.

    Good for music... thats it

    With the updated airpods that feature the H1 chip, the benefits that surround calling are completely overshadowed by the poor quality of the mic and horrible pick up, as expected when rocking these on your ears instead of your mouth. its very disappointing on how limited you are with apple's double tap feature. Hey Siri was nice, although i find myself using that feature just to make sure i have the updated airpods.

    the potential is there, but apple seems to want to unlock little bits and pieces over time so a public can "see" their improvements instead of just releasing AirPods with all its potential in place.

    overall this has no wires and very easy to carry around, no tangled cables. and no more broken cables that render the head phones useless either.

    along with its exceptional hearing quality. this gets a 3 star

    Lasted me a month

    I recently bought the first generation Airpods at the apple store and I didn’t have the best experience from the start. When I went to go purchase my Airpods I was treated very rudely but was happy after that. I guess there better then the average earpiece but maybe not worth the price (I think my $40 PS4 head set is better). Then after under ONE MONTH the left airpod just stop working! I tried everything to try and fix it myself from resting them, turning off Bluetooth, shutting down my phone, and many more solutions I found online but still nothing. I’m just surprised that I paid so much money for this thing just to have it break (It could be worse but if I by something for that price I shouldn’t have to worry about it just quitting). Overall just don’t buy them there are better more helpful earphones out there.

    Great Sound!

    I had received my AirPods with problems with sound and gaved it another chance so I got a replacement and these new ones are truly amazing!.Only thing is that they are not as comfortable in the ears after an hour or more of use.Besides that they are a good purchase.

    so i’ve had the airpods for about a month now and they won’t connect to my iphone 6. now it may be my phone but i don’t think it is because they worked prior to today. also don’t connect them to other devices besides apple products because they don’t usually work. will be taking them to apple store.

    A screaming, Unpleasant sound

    I was loving them at first and there’s no problem At all about how loud they get, the bass or the size. I used to never use any headphones from apple because the ones with the cord always allowed others to hear your music which doesn’t work while In school. I also couldn’t think of how people would clean them, but I found out it’s either a pencil or have disgusting ear wax clutter up over the months, i don’t know about other people but I clean my ears daily and they still get dirty. Soon or later I finally decided to give AirPods a try, I do love them more than any other headphones I’ve tried even beats. But I wish apple would make some tool that cleans them and doesn’t color them with led. My other issue occurring, which to me was bigger is I’ll be listening to music and I don’t use them very often but it happened to be the two times I was using both AirPods on volume 12, a LOUD static was screaming in my ears. I have read the reviews that are less than 5 stars and haven’t come across anyone else having this problem so I will take it as I bought a default from apple and it was just a bad batch but I put them in to hear my music not to kill my ear drums. This is completely on apple and they should have sent me a new pair but of course they’re not focused on the consumers just finances. Until apple comes out with reliable sound quality and a way to clear the earbuds & the charging case I don’t plan on purchasing from them again.

    The main problem may be Bluetooth

    Solid bass and good sound, assuming the devices connect.

    Often doesn't connect. The source device for sound shows that the sound is playing on the AirPods. And, the Bluetooth settings shows that the AirPods, and only the AirPods are connected, but the sound isn't coming through the AirPods.

    Occasionally, the sound will come through one of the earbuds, but not the other. The problem is usually resolved by shutting everything down and starting over, but the process is annoying.

    The earbuds sometimes fall out. This is a major problem when walking or jogging, but not applicable if one is sitting in a chair, or even standing without moving around much.

    Literally the Best Apple Product

    These AirPods are the best headphones hands down. They are so compact, fit so well in my ears, and I can take them anywhere. I found that I began wearing these headphones where I usually didn't because I would forget that they are in my ear and are just so discrete. Great job Apple for making these headphones. One of my best purchases.

    They don’t work with “find my iPhone”.

    My original AirPods and iPads show offline but at least they are listed. These 2nd Generation AirPods will appear in “find my iPhone” for a short while in use but then will disappear. Let me reiterate, they don’t even show offline. They appear briefly under “find my iPhone” but disappear as though they don’t exist. This defeats the purpose if you’re trying to locate them. I prefer my originals. They have better sound and are lighter which allows them to stay put in the ears. I find the new version heavier which causes them to fall out easily and the volume is too low. I’m told by Apple CS that they will be replacing them however the replacements are out of stock so I will have to wait 3-4 weeks.. smh..not good!! I do like the “hey Siri” feature and that the case has the option of wireless charging but that is it.

    Vast improvement from Gen1

    These second gen airpods sound so much better than my previous first gen, they connect to my iphone and windows laptop so much faster than gen1. The volume is no comparison, gen2 by far. Battery life also appears to also have been improved, was listening for 30mins and battery only went down 2%!!! Though bluetooth distance appears the same, note that you will have to update to IOS 12.2 for full functionality. (Tried pairing with IOS 11.3 and hey siri wouldn't work)

    Bluetooth doesn't connect 60% of the time. Otherwise beautiful speakers.

    I couldn't help but write my first review here. The AirPods are great, but: bluetooth connectivity is a disaster. I would say that 60% of the time the AirPods simply don't connect on the first try. You have to switch bluetooth off and on again, or reset the AirPods. This is the case with all my devices - my MacBook Pro, my iPhoneX and the Apple Watch. To be honest, most of the time I'm just trying to pair them. It's not Apple's fault. Bluetooth is a slow and outdated communication standard. Otherwise the AirPods are beautifully designed with amazing sound and good battery life.
