urBeats3 are definitely "Beats" headphones - good & bad

    • Written by Russell F from Thornton

These are definitely Beats style headphones. Meaning overall pretty good but an obvious emphasis on boosting bass frequencies. If that is your preference than these are fine. This is not my preference, as I would rather have completely flat response curve in my earbuds. I have several other earbuds that I would prefer, except of course Apple in its infinite wisdom removed the 3.5mm jack that has existed on devices for 20 years and now has their wonderful proprietary lightning interface. Oh, and the lightning to 3.5mm adapter is complete garbage, read the reviews on that. So you are now left with a choice of which lightning headphones to purchase, that are hopefully decent and not too expensive. These fit that description, not much else.

    They’re alright?

    • Written by Jacob V from Santa Barbara

I decided to get a new pair of earbuds, so I decided to get these. I get them I test them out and I noticed a difference. I kept switch between the beats to my other pair of earbuds the AirPods (which I use for going out, etc.) and right off the bat the AirPods were better. For the price of these earbuds I would say it’s a little bit expensive, but they are not the worst earbuds, they are still nice, stylish, and comfortable (more comfortable than the AirPods). The audio and bass are an average they’re not the best but not the worst at the same time. I’d say if you want earbuds just to use for every day use these aren’t that bad, but if you have extra money you could find some better ones.

    Earpiece falls out

    • Written by John A

Overall this lightning connector is probably way better in the terms of being compared to the crusty iPhone ones that come in the box. But everything has cons, in this case this headphone does not show or label which side for the ear it is designated for. It is 3 stars because bit does not fit in your ears often, it ALWAYS feels loose and falls out if you gently bend over to pick up something. But it is better than the iPhone lightning connectors though.
