Powerbeats Pro give you the sound and comfort needed for activity.

    • Written by DAMIEN P from Northampton

I highly recommend these Powerbeat Pro earphones. They have a nice sound with great bass. I love their connectivity. This is the first pair of bluetooth headphones I have ever kept. Usually I am unhappy with call, sound, or connectivity problems. The price tag is appropriate for their quality. Great product!

I was sceptical at first but I saw them featured in an unbox therapy video, went and bought them. The sound is crisp and the lows are deep. Definitely on spot. Only thing I can figure is that it would have been nice if you can detach the part that goes outside your ear ‍♂️

    Excellent quality and fit

    • Written by Chris C from Ayr

If you are looking for a pair of wireless headphones that won't fall out of your ears while moving about, these are the ones for you.
A great fit and very secure.
    Sound quality is excellent.
I've had mine for 4 weeks and use them for music, phone calls where I need handsfree, commuting and the gym... love them!

    Pod is quite bulky... 7cm x 7cm x 3.5cm roughly.

Low Expectations initially but now Extremely Happy

    • Written by Christian P from Daly City

I went into this purchase with expectations of booming bass and muddled vocals - as was my experience with most other Beats products. I read and listened to reviews online saying the sound from these were much better than expected so I gave it the benefit of the doubt as I've beenw anting to go wireless. I could always return it right? Sound quality is subjective. Fit is also dependent on your physical characteristics - we're all different. On first try, the sound was tinny; characteristic of ill fitting (read: small) tips. So I swapped them for larger ones that came with the buds and WOW, these are awesome. Granted, they won't sound as good as wired IEM's but they are good enough. I ride the subway daily with these and it's nice blocking out the sounds of the metal on metal screeching VS the airpods that allow external sound in. The fit for me was also good - I haven't worn them for more than a couple hours at a time but sometimes I forget I even have them in. Love it!

Love the Earphones, Hate the charging case

    • Written by Katie D from HONEA PATH

I bought a pair of the Powerbeats Pro.

First impressions: good fit on my ear, sounds really nice, adjustable volume rockers on each earphone, buttons on each earphone, can wear one or both earphones, rechargeable case, lighting connector

Impressions 3 days later: still all good pluses of my first impressions EXCEPT when putting the earphones back into the case if they aren’t put back on the magnetic charging prods just right they will still be pulling power (mine died within a day of charging them and not even using them)

All in all the concept is good they are much like the airpods BUT because of the charging issue I’m returning them.

Uncomfortable and sounds quality is lacking

    • Written by Brendan O from RESTON

I picked up a pair of these ear buds and spent a week playing with fitting and hoping they would somehow sound better and no joy. I tried all the ear bud fittings and none of them offered comfort or audio quality to equal a $249 price tag. I did a comparison with the Bose SoundSport Free ear buds and the Bose win hands down, much more natural audio, amazingly better low end and the fit and weight was perfect and I forgot they were in my ears. I cannot recommend the PowerBeats Pro, maybe if they $99 but not for $249 - No Way! The Bose are $199 and well worth it. Beats are overrated!

Great earphones, but they don't sync seamlessly

    • Written by Milo S from Brooklyn

I've had the Powerbeats Pro earphones for 6 weeks. The sound quality is great — exactly what you'd expect from a Beats product. No issues with the battery (they charge quickly, and stay charged for a long time).

Synching these earphones with my Apple products is a recurring issue. For instance, when I pull the earphones out of the case and put them on, often times sound (from my iPhone) will only come in through one earphone. On a few occasions, even after charging the earphones in their case overnight, I can't sync them with my Apple Watch at all. Sometimes you can resolve these issues by putting the earphones back into the case, and then taking them out again. But for this price point, I'd expect a more seamless synching experience.

If you get these, I would recommend keeping that old pair of AirPods around as a back-up for your morning jog just in case.

Battery drain if out of case

    • Written by Tuan N from Ho Chi Minh

Apple told PBP has 9 hour battery life. But if you keep it out of case when don't use, battery will drain. 70% in the morning, are at about 15% by afternoon.

The good, the bad, the truth

    • Written by Alex L from Rochester Hills

The good... the headphones fit securely regardless of the type of work. The sound quality is okay but the noise isolation (especially needed when watching movies on flights) is very disappointing regardless of which size ear tip is used. Battery life is truly amazing for the headphones and the charging case. I can go nearly two weeks without charging despite using for at least an hour every day.

The bad... almost immediately out of the box there are issues with consistency of syncing with my iPhone. About half of the time, one if not both headphones will not sync. Sometimes I have to go so far as "forget this device" and re-establish the sync with the headphones and the iPhone. After a couple of months I experienced charging issues with one of the headphones (something that seems to be very common per other reviews). However, I found a very easy and understandable solution. Every so often take a damp washcloth and wipe down each headphone and the interior of charging case (do not use a fully wet washcloth as this could permanently damage both as well as void the Apple warranty). This completely resolved the charging issue.

Overall they are good headphones (not great) and probably very overpriced unless the individual can easily afford such prices.

    Extremely Discomforting For my ears

    • Written by Mark M from Citrus Heights

IF YOUR GOING TO READ THIS READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW. I bought these a month ago and waited a very long 4 weeks for them to be delivered, only to be extremely disappointed with the outcome. The sound quality is just a pure and clear as the PowerBeats Wireless 3, high bass and high trebles. No problem with the sound quality whatsoever. However, the comfort is nowhere near the same. Putting these in at first felt very convincing, but after about 10 minutes of wearing them, I began to feel like something was prying my ear open. I gave them a week trying out different earbud sizes, positioning the earpiece different, and still the same result every time. I used these for working out, walking around the house, or simply just laying down, and at all positions I was still getting the same ear pain. I even tried wearing these without my glasses for an hour for 3 days, and still nothing. Went back to my old Powerbeats wireless 3 (thank god I still kept them), and wore them and instantly felt a relief of pain from wearing them. Will be returning and getting my money back, very disappointed.

AirPods but if apple actually cared about sound quality

    • Written by Edwin P from Monroe

When I first heard of these coming out I was a bit surprised and excited because to me beats sound really good and I have to say a full month with these would not return these are a major go if you are a fitness type of person like I am I wish they were 200 but meh also the problem I have with AirPods is that they let way to much outside noise in which means turning them up and damaging your ears and the battery life on those are ok but the Powerbeats pro blew me away I would highly recommend them

I’m not sure why a lot of people dislike them or say the volume is too low to hear because I can hear my music perfectly with them! I will admit that they do emit a lot of bass in songs which can feel a little heavy in your ears, it would have been nice to include an equalizer option in the software. But I wore them for a good hour and did various workouts ranging in different intensities and they remained in my ears without budging and I want to make note that they’re very comfortable!

    Best thing yet!

    • Written by VINCENT W from Glen Burnie

I’ve had almost every Bluetooth out there. For those complaining about bass and sound quality...you may want to stick with over the ear headphones. These are earbuds! In my opinion, sound quality is 5 stars. Yes, the case is big also, but what I’ve found is you don’t need to carry it around like AirPod cases. The battery life is far superior. If I want a completely immersive sound experience, I don’t pull any set of ear bud styled Bluetooth. 5 stars for battery life, range, and fit. For those of us that have be looking for a Bluetooth that we can use all day for phone conversations, this is the I’ve found. The one and only problem I’ve found with the Power Beats Pro is connectivity. Initial pairing is flawless as expected, and they don’t drop any more than than any other wireless device. Background noise hasn’t been a complaint. I do however have a fairy occasional problem with callers that cannot hear me. Although I can hear them, there’s a real issues here. If I could give 4.5 stars I would.

Back to the drawing board with these

    • Written by Jt G from Compton

These headphones have one purpose in my opinion. To hang on your ear securely. Clap, clap, clap for the innovation there :-/. Outside of that, I have nothing really good to say about these. Sound clarity is a bit better than Airpods but the bass is trash. Sound is definitely not worth the additional $100 in cost. I like the fact that they are black vs the white Airpods that end up looking disgusting to me. Battery life is awesome, but I also don't like the humongous charger case, so a much better battery life is needed to avoid carrying that brick around. There are also connectivity issues left and right. One ear won't work, sound drops from one then the other, answers calls but no sound, drops whatever I am playing at times even when the phone is in my lap (Iphone with no prior issues), so on and so forth. Bad product at price point. They act like $100 headphones. Left a lot to be desired. Returning them

    Almost perfect

    • Written by Scott L from Deerfield Beach

They sound great, fit great and so far have had flawless connectivity. My only nits with these near-perfect headphones applies specifically to the multifunction "Beats" button on each side. The button works, but could use some improvement. Firstly, the button is flat and flush with the surface of the headphones so it's very difficult to feel for the button when they are worn. A little bump on them would be helpful. Secondly, the buttons have almost no travel, so it's difficult to tell when it's been pushed. This is especially noticeable when trying to do a double-press for "skip to next track" and even worse for a triple-press for "skip back to the start or previous track." And that brings me to the third complaint; this one is about the software. When doing actions like "play/pause" or "skip ahead" or "skip back", it would be very useful to have some audio feedback (other than the track starting or stopping or skipping) - something like a beep or better yet - siri's voice saying "Play" or "Pause", etc...

These are minor comments on an awesome product, but Apple really should have known better and surveyed the competition to make a truly best-in-class product. If not for the flaws in that button's hardware and software, I would have given these a 5-star rating.

Worked great.... For about 2 months!

    • Written by RICHARD A from APO

It saddens me to write this but Apple has done nothing to fix the issue of intermittent connection issues and charging problems, My left ear piece would constantly lose connection but my right would continue to work. I would completed disconnect the Pros, and reconnect them, and even had my phone forget the device. Would work for about 10 minutes and then it happens again. Now my ear piece has intermittent charging issues. Sometimes it is recognized and charges, most of the time it doesn’t. When it does, it’ll charge up to 100% then about 30 minutes later I get the low battery ding. I’ve dreamed about these headphone and have these issues which is upsetting. Apple please address the charging and connection issues. The cost of these make it unacceptable!
